"It's okay to have wrong answers in assignments...their not quizzes so no pressure. ^^

I always ask questions, I always pay attention, I take notes, specially the ones he didn't write on the board, and I copy from my genius classmate...well some of the questions ;p

I had a good teacher in highschool, he asks some brave souls to write their answers to the board, make them tell how they solved it, if it's correct then hurrah, if it's wrong he explains the why's and how's.. in a most dissapointing way hehehe, like he's telling us why,didn't we get it ... sooo easy, such an obvious solution...man the dolt...hehehe

Jagged lines on the left, the blending mode on the characters are too much, their too bright, try soft light instead of overlay...

I don't like your bg choice too, it doesn't match / compliment the characters.

The lights on sakura are soft yellow, and yet the ones coming from those lanterns are stark flourescent white.

And your perspective is wrong, the lanterns should be higher than sakura's head.

Yep the lighting is off, the light source should be the brightest, and the lowest part should be the darkest.

Suggestion:

Add one distinctive color.

The silhouette have jagged edges, nice play on the brushes though. ^^

Your wall design is quite melancholic, yet the font says other wise, they don't match..." great life, cool, great"
sounds too happy, for a black and white wall.

The texts in random places, especially the ones slashed in the middle, not quite good to look at.
And the barcode like thing, irrelevant.

Suggestion:

Since its raining leaves, put some silhoutte of trees, use perspective when you place them on his back.

"Yep, cool idea, other than the character on the left, are your color combinations, you chose the wrong ones...

Oranges and murky greens don't look good together, and besides with those silhouetts, it should have sunset colors. Look for references.

Well vectoring is when you draw shapes or re-draw/re-make a character in adobe illustrator, wherein the quality of your work is a lot better and sharper because, it isn't pixelized. It will be in pixels after you put it in photoshop but it will not have that grainy, blurry, uneven tone etc...

I suck at explaining XD, for example of a vectored wall look at the highlighted wallpaper.
