Email - What's You Inbox Look Like

"My inbox is very organized, just like everything else. Almost every email that comes in gets put into a category and archived, leaving just the main and most important emails in the main inbox to be looked at whenever I need it. It bugs me to no end when I see inboxes full of random emails, some of them unread and just scattered everywhere. Then again, I'm rather nitpicky about how I organize my files and everything, so that's how I manage everything I own."

"I'll watch it in public, definitely. The strange thing is, my parents don't mind anime at all, and they'll even watch some, but I don't like watching it around them. xD I suppose it's just me. I don't really care at all what strangers or other people think about me, so I'll watch what I please wherever I want to, really. Just... my parents, for some strange reason, I don't like watching around them. Then again I don't like showing them much of anything pertaining to my hobbies. I don't trust them much. xD"

"Hey, thanks for the comment. =] I know what you mean about the back top/bottom. Looking over it a few times they do seem pretty large, though I was experimenting with having them there, I /think/ if they're sized right they might look good. I made a version without them and it seemed kind of bare, if that makes sense. I'll keep experimenting and post another version if I get anything that looks better. (I've gotten a bunch of comments, some more, some against, the black border, haha. Maybe if I submit I can just include a borderless version in the description...?)

Did you get betrayed?

"I've been betrayed many times over, so these days, and probably for a long time on, I'm not really interested in getting close to people. I made many mistakes letting people get very close to me, and in the end when they did do something bad, it hurt ten times worse. I think the worst part was probably that all of these betrayals were done at the worst possible moments. The moments where I could have used a bit of help or assistance the most, that's when these people decided to turn their backs, disown me or do something else.

Ah well. Live and learn."

I prefer solitude and quiet when I can get it, and the person I trust the most in the world is myself. I do enjoy other people's company, and when I'm around the right people I love every minute of it. "I finished one of the first drafts of this wallpaper. I had tried adding the FSN logo, but it didn't look quite right no matter where I put it or what I did with it. I'm not sure about the text, so any pointers in that area would be helpful.

However, my primary concern is whether this would actually go into the FSN category. Last time I submitted a wallpaper with Kagamin Hiiragi in it, and instead of Lucky Star it went into another random category, so /before/ I get docked papers for something like this, can anyone verify what category this should go into? xD

"I don't think it's fair to say she can't write worth a darn, but her writing style definitely isn't up to par with others like HP especially. I don't like Twilight, but she's plenty better than others. (Need proof? Look up fanfiction.net.) That said, I'm not a fan of Twilight like I am of HP, and I think the former is amazingly overrated."

"Just like video games, movies, tv shows, sports or anything else, anime is something that is left to the viewer to interpret. It's only a bad influence (or an influence of any kind) if you let it be one. Otherwise it's simply there for you to enjoy or dislike, depending on your tastes."

"I'm really happy to see the way Obama is taking things so far in office. Signing to get rid of Guantanamo, the secret CIA prisons, removing the ban on abortion funding, halting all pending measures until his administration can review them, etc. He's doing a ton of work to turn this mess around already and while it may be awhile for us to see results, I'm glad to see there's someone in office who is working towards making things better for America in general, and not just playing around in the White House for the lulz.

I'm also liking Obama's Saturday morning YouTube addresses (for those who don't know, you can view them here: http://www.whitehouse.gov/weekly_address/ ). They're awfully reminiscent of the Fireside Chats we had back in the day, and it's nice to see a president making an effort to communicate and interact with the citizens.

On a side note, some of the comments in this thread make me worry for the sake of humanity. >___>;'"

How does your life resolve around Anime/Manga?

"Some days I get by without anime, though usually that's because I'm insanely busy, and my depression doesn't allow me much motivation for anything, even entertainment-wise. But other nights I'll find myself up hella late because I simply can't stop watching the anime I'm on. Just one more episode, just one more episode. At four in the morning, 'One more episode. I have to be up in two hours. One more, then I'll sleep.' Then at school, 'I didn't sleep because I got carried away with my shows. Won't happen again, honest! >.>'

Anime and manga play a big part in my life. I dunno, it's a big hobby for me, and I loves it all (not that it's rare to hear on this forum in particular)."

Obama: the new president of the United States..

"Obama, I will say, looks to be very competent. He cannot be judged quite yet because of his very short time in office thus far, but in the past day or two he is already making a lot of changes and taking part in a lot of action to clean up the mess the old administration left. It will be nearly impossible for him to do it all in four years, perhaps even eight if he is re-elected. There was simply too much done.

However, I am confident in him as my new president. He received my vote because he gives a message that this country, that this world needs. He embodies the struggles and needs of everyone going through these troubled times, and he looks to me as the sign that the old administration, corrupt and careless about the issues it caused, is gone.

It might sound like I worship the guy. That is incorrect. It is late, I am tired, and my eloquence shows itself at strange times. But that completely irrelevant point aside, I do think Obama will be able to do a good job and guide this country out of this difficult point in history. It's too late to save everyone, but we've got to start somewhere, and I think he can do just that. He's got a good team and he came in very well-prepared -- that alone to me is a sign that he differs strongly from the previous administration.

I wish him the best of luck. With the amount of trouble this country is in, he's going to need it. He's a brave man stepping up to the presidency at this point in time."

"Haha. I could never dream of texting that much. If I have that much to say I'll pick up the phone, use Skype, or if I really must, use an email. I could never text that much, I just don't have that much to say. I use texting for when there are hardly any options left available to me, or when a friend wants to strike up a small talk conversation that isn't very obvious to others. No big deal. I send maybe about five to ten in a slow month, and at the very most up to fifty in a fast month."

"Haha. I used to be looked at as strange for being a virgin in middle school. That should tell you something. The area I live in isn't even bad, it's quite a nice area down here in Southern California, however the way everyone acts around here you'd think that having sex by sixth grade is the norm. It was rather disgusting, and it still is, that this is one of the ways you have to fit in with modern society.

I'm not over twenty, I'll start that right off, but I'm close enough, I suppose. I'm nineteen. A nineteen-year-old male with a girlfriend whose first priority isn't sex. Shame on me, right? It's not something I'm thinking about leaping to do, sorry. Most people around here think that's strange. The guys around here like to talk about how many girls they've 'been through' as though it's some sort of competition. I like my dignity, thanks.

So, I don't know what people will say to me as I get older if I keep my virginity for that long. Not sure I want to know. Then again I've always been one of those idiotic males who values things other than sex."

"I've thought about it a lot. Still do sometimes. I've told myself I would never do it -- I lost three of my friends to suicide around this time last year. I can't deny the thought still crosses my mind, however. It would be great if I had people I could talk to, though I really don't. Oh well, though. =P"

"For actual information I like the internet over books, because of the massive amount of information that is all in one place. It's incredible easy to check a variety of sources from many dates, get up-to-date information, cross reference with many different sites and all sorts of things, much more convenient than books.

That's not to say I prefer internet over books in general, just for gathering information and research."

"My parents do not love my unconditionally -- I'd be very surprised if they told me they loved me at all. This has been clear to me for many, many years now, and it's something I simply deal with because I don't have any other option yet. I'd rather not get into details at it would turn into a rant, but I can pretty safely say that there is little to no love coming from my parents to me, and ever since I found that out years ago I did my best to stop myself loving them, as it's only caused hurt, and has never been returned. I consider my 'family' to be my close group of wonderful friends, and that's how it's always going to be."

Economic meltdown

"I'm glad to see that the bill wasn't passed, personally. We shouldn't be simply bailing out any company that has financial problems due to the idiocy of the current administration. No, what we need to do is rethink our financial policies and get someone in office who knows what they are doing with the economy, because a bailout is NOT the answer.

Unfortunately I know the bad economy is badly affecting a lot of people. Myself, I'm unemployed, have been for awhile now. I'm lucky because I'm young and can still live at home for the time being, but a lot of people aren't so lucky. Losing homes, jobs, other things. This is all a terrible thing that shouldn't have happened, and to be honest I'm irritated by the fact that a bailout plan is one of the top priorities in the news and even at all. Bailing out isn't the answer, and it isn't going to miraculously fix things. Normally the economy isn't fixed by throwing money at various failing portions of it. Then again, the current administration hasn't been wonderful about anything, let alone money."
