This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

Kanon 2006

"I can't believe I haven't said anything here yet.. xDI loved the original Kanon, and was looking forward to the remake when it was announced. I was even more eager to see it when I found out that the people who did AIR would be responsible for this remake. Plus, 24 episodes meant more story telling. As far as the anime is going so far, I am loving it and can't wait until it really starts to unfold. Still, gotta find the original Kanon and go through that again, just for a quick recap. I wanna see what the differences really are."

ARIA The ANIMATION / NATURAL

"I must say, after watching the last episode of Aria, it left me with a kind of sad feeling. I enjoyed watching every episode of this anime from beginning to end, and I won't hesistate to watch it again if I ever feel the need to watch something very calming and down to earth. It is just one of those shows that makes you feel good because of it's soft atmosphere, gentle music, and beautiful backgrounds. In response to the above poster, there will be second season to be released. I'm looking forward to it. :) So until then...Let's meet up on Aqua again one day. :)"

OVAs

"OVAs? I recommend Pale Cocoon and Kumo no Mukou, Yakusoku no Basho. School Rumble OVA if you are in the mood for laughs, as well as FLCL. You can always try Hellsing Ultimate. It just released, especially if you were fond of the series. Rurouni Kenshin OVAs are also nice to watch. Perfect Blue for a nice thriller. Grave of the Fireflies if you want a tragic and depressing show. There were others that I have seen, but it isn't coming to my mind right now... XD"

"At least a new servant was introduced. I would have liked it more if Saber was the one who fought Rider, but I'm sure that there will be better fights in the future. My friend kept on teasing me that this series will only have 12 episodes like Tsukihime, but I rather not believe him on it. Besides, I'm sure TYPE-MOON didn't like the turnout of Tsukihime and I'm hoping that this anime be at least 24 episodes. From the looks of things, they are rather slow on the pace. Not as much confrontation as the first couple of episodes. As the times go by, I'm hoping for more battles between servants and masters. Oh, we can't forget about the surprises here and there."

"According to anidb, they released the 3rd OVA within a week of the 2nd. Unfortunately, the fansub groups are really slow on this. I am rather disappointed. And yes, they planned 6 OVAs only."

"Wow. Simply wow. This story has suddenly picked up after all those silly antics and whatnot. With 26 episodes as their cap, they still have time to wrap up things and make it a very interesting climax. The most shocking part of episode 17 in my opinion? When Arika and Nina went completely berserk afterI wonder how the rest of the show will turn out..."

"Hmm... I spoiled it for myself, downloaded the raw of episode 16, and saw the new OP by KOTOKO. Personally, it doesn't do it's predecessor any justice. I like the old OP better than the new one. As for the new ED, I like it because it is a good change of pace from the previous. Don't get me wrong, the old ED will always be something to remember in my book, but the new ED replaced it well. Besides, it is Yoko Ishida. I love her songs. XD"View
Idea of Heaven

"From what I see from everyone's post (even myself) we all describe heaven as a place filled with light, eternal bliss, coziness, etc. From the way it is sounding, we are describing our own selfish desires and needs to be ultimately granted. I wonder, anyone in a rush to go to their "heaven"? We all want nothing more to finally experience blissful pleasures in the end of our own lives. I am extremely curious to know how many of you that posted before this will actually say "yes"."View
Idea of Heaven

"My vision of Heaven:A calming and soothing place, where your pain and suffering is no longer existent. Where you are ultimately rewarded for following your faith when you were still alive. My vision of heaven... is of limited population. To do what is required to get into heaven is rather steep. I wonder if all that peace, tranquility, and serenity is all worth it when you have to give up carnal desires? For some of us, it is impossible.
Quite frankly, too much peace will drive me crazy."
