"Well, what i was trying to say was that you shouldn't apply the "painted" look filter to the scan, because it doesn't fit with everything else...the bg and all the elements of it are very clean, like they were vector or something like it, and the scan should look the same...

i was looking at the second image and it looks REALLY better, really, i really like it ;)...
let's see if i'm not the only one and you'll probably be ready to submit ;)

bueno, primero ke nada, la idea es exelente, los elementos y los colores combinan de forma genial...
el problema es la imagen principal, parece que hubieras aplicado un filtro para ke se viera como "dibujada" y no combina con el resto del wallpaper ke es muy limpio, como con vectores, me entiendes ?? si la imagen principal pudiera estar mas "lisa", mas "perfecta" este seria un gran wallpaper...
ademas da gusto ver un fondo en español por estos lugares...

maybe try to go with the scan and make everything black and white, and change the bg, is too plain and simple...the text doesn't fit neither, and is too simple too...
think on a single style or color combination and apply that to the whole wall, make the scan blend with the bg...

ichigo is like too saturated, colors are too saturated...
rukia looks blured and the extraction need to be improved...the hair looks weird too...
and the text quality is really bad, like you took it from somewhere else, paste it and enlarge it really bad...
like Xristina practice makes perfect, just don't let the comments bring you down and try to improve your wall ;), good luck"

"Hi, i'm been away for some time and i really don't have the time to read 18 pages of posts, so if someone already said this, i'm sorry =P...

When someone rejects a wall, i think there should be at least a little explanation of the reasons why it got rejected (mmm is this right?? damn english >=[ )...it would easier to realise what to fix, change, delete, etc...

Also, when you post a link in the forums or in the shoutbox, it should open in a new...window...so far any posted link will get you OUT of animepaper

"Lose all that noise...never apply filters to the main image/scan/character....
about the size, there's not much you can do...i mean...everything would be so different if we could enlarge images without losing quality....but i don't think that exists...
what we do when we need to enlarge and image in order to make a wall with it (i.e. working with a screenshot) is to vector the image...but that would be almost imposible to do in this case...."

"The character on the left isn't extracted very well...sides look pixelated...
never aply filter on the main scans...you applied some crosshatch (am i wrong?) filter to the char on the left...
there's too much going on in the wall...too busy, too man things, too many people....try to make it less busy...
about the screencaps...from the 3 of them, the ones in the bottom look smooth, they with thye wall and with the bg....but the top one doesn't...it doesn't blen right....
try to work on some of those things ;)

"Guess your right, i can't force people to recognize the effort....
the point is that i don't think this is all beacuse no one want to download and comment on the wall...it's more like a thing of totally bad luck....almost nobody had the opportunity to saw it and that's what pisses me off...
i mean when you make a wall don't you want people to like it ?? that's the whole point on uploading thigs, so people can download the wall and use it for a time...in the end, the important thing is that someone could like it enough to use on their computer....the fact that your very own work is on someone's pc, always there, in the bg...i think that's what we are all looking for when we upload...
is there someone that uploads and never goes and see the wall to know if people comented ?? if someone fav it ??
to know how many download it to probably use it ??

"Is that full size ?? cause minimum size is 1024x768...or it will get totally rejected....
characters are too small i think.....they should be even bigger than the bg pics...
i wouldn't recommend you to use the same image twice...i mean one on the front and the same on the back....
the bg needs some work....it's too simple...you took an image and applied some filters....

Does this even really qualify as a problem / suggestion given that its neither?

As for Edibomb. If you're making wallpapers merely for recognition's sake you may wish to rethink your hobby. If you can't find satisfaction in the process itself and you are reliant on validation from an external party you have larger problems at hand.

as i ALREADY sai...

I also DO wallpapers for fun....
but i SUBMIT them for recognition....

DOING walls and SUBMITTING THEM are very different things...."
