After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

[Anime Discussion] Gurren Lagann

1 year 7 months ago

"A movie? That´s great news for all the Gurren Lagann fans around here.
I watched the series a little time ago and it was breathtaking. The story, the opening and ending, the music, the animation, the characters, all was perfect as gainax has made ever.
And the last part...was breathtaking, all to uber enormous galactic size...i want this series to appear in the next Super Robot wars game. Watching a SD Gurren Lagann could be awesome.
I have to say that I´m in love with any of the two openings (share the same song) and a song that appear in the last chapters named "Libera me "from hell"". Is sooo wonderful song that combines opera...and hip hop? that kind of remix that you could hate it or be in love it.

I know that it´s not gonna be a second season but...well, the movie for sure gonna be epic.

And here (if someone not posted it already) I put the lyrics from "Liberame fron hell" that I found amazing:

Requiem æternam. Dona eis, Domine
Libera me, Domine, de morte æterna,
in die illa tremenda. in die illa
Quando coeli movendi sunt et terra,
Dum veneris judicare
sæculum per ignem.
Tremens factus sum ego et timeo,
dum discussio venerit atque ventura ira.
Dies illa, dies iræ,
calamitatis et miseriæ,
dies illa dies magna
et amara valde. et amara valde
Requiem æternam, dona eis Domine
Requiem æternam, dona eis Requiem
et lux perpetua luceat eis
Libera me, Domine.
Libera me, Domine

{Grant them eternal rest, Lord.
Free me, Lord, from eternal death
on that terrible day, on the day
The heavens and earth will be moved,
When you will come to judge
the age by fire.
I dread and tremble for
the scattering to come and your wrath.
That day, the day of wrath,
of calamity and wretchedness,
that day, that terrible day.
and intense bitterness, and intense bitterness
Grant them eternal rest, Lord
Rest, eternal rest grant them
and eternal light shine upon them
Free me, Lord.
Free me, Lord.}
do the impossible, see the invisible
raw! raw! fight the power!
touch the untouchable, break the unbreakable
raw! raw! fight the power!

power to the peeps, power for the dream
still missing piece scattering, so incomplete
we be the most incredible soldier from underground
see how easy they all fall down
digging to the core to see the light
Let's get out of here babe, that's the way to survive
top of the head, I'm on the set
do the impossible, don't you wanna bet?
cuz, a lot of things changed, we be waiting in vain
if you wanna get by, no pain no gain
wow! fakers wanna test me again
sorry, my rhyme's gonna snatch your brain, yo

I'm still starving for the straight up shit
we gonna make it happen with the crazy rap skill
get ready to rumble, now is the time, uh huh
if you don't know, now you know

(good luck fellows!)

Lockon Stratos

"Lockon was a wonderful character but it was sad when he died. I have to say that I like a lot the last sentence he said: this world...I hate it.
I supose that a death of a character makes the series more interesting and the people who watch it, more addicted to: what´s gonna happen next? and something like this. I think is somekind of publicity trick to obtain more viewers and, in the future, I´m sure he will return with some uber Gundam to save the new main protagonist or similar.
I´m pretty sure of this. I swear for the glory of Gundam Exia XD ( I think this is somekind of gliche that happens in every Gundam series)"

"I watched it too (firs in a RAW and second with a video with spanish subtitles) and I must say that was AWESOME.
I was nervious for what would the second season start watching the last episode in fist season and looking a lot of time to that cliffhanger that was chapter 25.
But know...I watch the new episode and said: WOW this is getting more and more interesting...I WANT MOREEEEEE!
The opening is the great of all they put in all the series but the ending, in my opinion, is very poor. "

Lost Odyssey

1 year 7 months ago

"I have to post twice in this post watching that so little people are posting in here who played to this wonderful game.
I reached the fourth DVD and I enjoyed doing all the sidequest and obtaining the best weapons and stuff.
When I decided that the time has come I finished the game and watched the breataking ending it has. You must watch it, right now !!
This game has one of the most memorable stories I ever played and readed, (well the main villain is not a sephirot...but is evil, a lot of evil lies within him XD). The subquests are very entertaining and I readed somewhere that in Japan they have a new dungeon to download in Xbox Live. An underwater facility where you can fight with new monsters, obtain new items and fight with a new stronger boss and obtaining an item who make the user cast magic using 0 MP (with cost of 999 SP to obtain).
But, and this is the bad new, only for Japan.

And other important thing of this game (another one I must say) are the dream sequences that appear in the game and a lot of people didn´t read ¬¬. They are beatiful short- stories about the past of Kaim and most of them are very sad but, nowadays, great to read. The stories are accompanied by screens and Nobuo Music to make the experience more wonderful.
And here, I put one of the stories bought by the forums of videogamechat http://forums.videogamechat.net/showthread.php?t=4986
where you can find the rest of them:

Hanna´s departure

The family members have tears in their eyes when they welcome Kaim back to the inn from his long journey.

"Thank you so much for coming"

He understands the situation immediately.

The time for departure is drawing near

Too soon, too soon.

But still, he knows, this day would have come sometime, and not in the distant future.

"I might never see you again," she said to him with a sad smile when he left on this journey, her smiling face almost transparent in its whiteness, so fragile---and therefore indescribably beautiful--as she lay in bed.

"May I see Hanna now?" he asks.

The innkeeper gives him a tiny nod and says, "I don't think she'll know who you are, though."

She hasn't opened her eyes since last night, he warns Kaim. You can tell from the slight movement of her chest that she is clinging to a frail thread of life, but it could snap at any moment.

"It's such a shame. I know you made a special point to come here for her..."

Another tear glides down the wife's cheek.

"Never mind, it's fine." Kaim says.

He has been present at innumerable deaths, and his experience has taught him much.

Death takes away the power of speech first of all. Then the ability to see.

What remains alive to the very end, however, is the power to hear. Even though the person has lost consciousness, it is by no means unusual for the voices of the family to bring forth smiles or tears.

Kaim puts his arm around the woman's shoulder and says, "I have lots of travel stories to tell her. I've been looking forward to this my whole time on the road."

Instead of smiling, the woman releases another large tear and nods to Kaim, "And Hanna was so looking forward to hear your stories."

Her sobs almost drown out her words.

The innkeeper says, "I wish I could urge you to rest up from your travels before you see her, but..."

Kaim interrupts his apologies, "Of course I'll see her right away."

There is very little time left.

Hanna, the only daughter of the innkeeper and his wife, will probably breathe her last before the sun comes up.

Kaim lowers his pack to the floor and quietly opens the door to Hanna's room.

Hanna was frail from birth. Far from enjoying the opportunity to travel, she rarely left the town or even the neighbourhood in which she was born and raised.

This child will probably not live to adulthood, the doctor told her parents.

This tiny girl, with extraordinarily beautiful doll-like features, the gods had dealt an all-too-sad destiny.

That they had allowed her to be born the only daughter of the keepers of a small inn by the highway was perhaps one small act of atonement for such iniquity.

Hanna was unable to go anywhere, but the guests who stayed at her parent’s inn would tell her stories of the countries and towns and landscapes and people that she would never know.

Whenever new guests arrived at the inn, Hanna would ask them.

“Where are you from?” “Where are you going?”

“Can you tell me a story?”

She would sit and listen to their stories with sparkling eyes, urging them on to new episodes with “And then? And then?” When they left the inn, she would beg them, “Please come back, and tell me lots and lots of stories about faraway countries!”

She would stand there waving until the person disappeared far down the highway, give one lonely sigh, and go back to bed.

Hanna is sound asleep.

No one else is in the room, perhaps an indication that she has long since passed the stage when the doctors can do anything for her.

Kaim sits down in the chair next to the bed and says with a smile.

“Hello, Hanna, I’m back.”

She does not respond. Her little chest, still without the swelling of a grown woman, rises and falls almost imperceptibly.

“I went far across the ocean this time.” He tells her. “The ocean on the side where the sun comes up. I took a boat from the harbor way way way far beyond the mountains you can see from this window, and I was on the sea from the time the moon was perfectly round till it got smaller and smaller then bigger and bigger until it was full again. There was nothing but ocean as far as the eye could see. Just the sea and the sky. Can you imagine it, Hanna? You’ve never seen the ocean, but I’m sure people have told you about it. It’s like a huge, big endless puddle.”

Kaim chuckles to himself, and it seems to him that Hanna’s pale white cheek moves slightly.

She can hear him. Even if she cannot speak or see, her ears are still alive.

Believing and hoping this to be true, Kaim continues with the story of his travels.

He speaks no words of parting.

As always with Hanna, Kaim smiles with a special gentleness he has never shown to anyone else, and he goes on telling his tales with a bright voice, sometimes even accompanying his story with exaggerated gestures.

He tells her about the blue ocean.

He tells her about the blue sky.

He says nothing about the violent sea battle that stained the ocean red.

He never tells her about those things.

Hanna was still a tiny girl when Kaim first visited the inn.

When she asked him “Where are you from?” and “Will you tell me some stories?” with her childish pronunciation and innocent smile, Kaim felt soft glow in his chest.

At the time, he was returning from a battle.

More precisely, he had ended one battle and was on his way to the next.

His life consisted of traveling from one battlefield to another, and nothing about that has changed to this day.

He has taken the lives of countless enemy troops, and witnessed the deaths of countless comrades on the battlefield. Moreover, the only thing separating enemies from comrades is the slightest stroke of fortune. Had the gears of destiny turned in a slightly different way, his enemies would have been comrades and his comrades enemies, This is the fate of the mercenary.

He was spiritually worn down back then and feeling unbearably lonely.

As a possessor of eternal life, Kaim had no fear of death, which was precisely why each of the soldier’s faces distorted in fear, and why each face of a man who died in agony was burned permanently into his brain. Ordinarily, he would spend nights on the road drinking. Immersing himself in an alcoholic stupor — or pretending to. He was trying to make himself forget the unforgettable.

When, however, he saw Hanna’s smile and begged him for stories about his long journey, he felt a far warmer and deeper comfort then he could even obtain from liquor.

He told her many things...

About the beautiful flower he discovered on the battlefield.

About the bewitching beauty of the mist filling the forest the night before the final battle.

About the marvelous taste of the spring water in a ravine where he and his men had fled after losing the battle.

About a vast, bottomless blue sky he saw after battle.

He never told her anything sad. He kept his mouth shut about the human ugliness and stupidity he witnessed endlessly on the battlefield. He concealed his position as a mercenary for her, kept silent regarding his reasons for traveling constantly, and spoke only of things that were beautiful and sweet and lovely. He sees now that he told Hanna only beautiful stories of the road like this not so much out of concern for her purity, but for his own sake.

Staying in the inn, Hanna waited to see him turned out to be one of Kaim’s small pleasures in life. Telling her about the memories he brought back from his journeys, he felt some degree of salvation, however slight. Five years, ten years, his friendship with the girl continued. Little by little, she neared adulthood, which meant that, as the doctors had predicted, each day brought her that much closer to death.

And now, Kaim ends the last travel story he will share with her.

He can never see her again, can never tell her stories again.

Before dawn, when the darkness of night is at its deepest, long pauses enter into Hanna’s breathing.

The trail thread of her life is about to snap as Kaim and her parents watch over her.

The tiny light that has lodged in Kaim’s breast will be extinguished.

His lonely travels will begin again tomorrow---his long, long travels without end.

“You’ll be leaving on travels of your own soon, Hanna.” Kaim tells her gently.

“You’ll be leaving for a world that no one knows, a world that has never entered into any of the stories you have heard so far. Finally, you will be able to leave your bed and walk anywhere you want to go. You’ll be free.”

He wants her to know that death is not sorrow but a joy mixed with tears.

“It’s your turn now. Be sure and tell everyone about the memories of your journey.”

Her parents will make that same journey someday. And someday Hanna will be able to meet all the guests she has known at the inn, far beyond the sky.

I however, can never go there. I can never escape this world. I can never see you again.

“This is not goodbye. It’s just the start of your journey.”

He speaks his final words to her.

“We’ll meet again.”

His final lie to her.

Hanna makes her departure.

Her face is transfused with a tranquil smile as if she has just said,

“See you soon.”

Her eyes will never open again. A single tear glides slowly down her cheek.

Final Fantasy XII

1 year 7 months ago

"I played it a long time ago an when I think now I´m very confused with this game.
As my friend Moonlight said one time:FF XII is just like Evangelion: you may adore it or you may hate it, but it never leaves you indifferent.

Talking about the graphics is one of the best RPGs in playstation 2, wonderful and breathtaking FMV as Square enix knows to do. Graphics in game are great, the characters move smoothly and the surroundings moves as well as the main character. The graphic engine is very good but...has his dark side. The background and cities are so enormous that the ps2 can´t load them entirely and have to be cut (with a technique that I hate...some discontinous blue points in the middle of the cities or other sites) making the console load the scenary by parts . The character design, in my opinion, is very poor...as other people said: the characters sucks (and Nomura not taking part of the design...is very very bad (he is my God).
The soundtrack is good and...enough. The music accompany the action in every portion of the game: battles, dialogues, action scenes and much more...but the music lacks something that Nobuo Uematsu puts in everyone of his compositions: Epicness. Nobuo was a great loss for Square Enix I must say.

The gameplay is the hot point in here: for some people the new features implemented in the game are cool and innovative like the new combat system (similar to MMORG one), the new exploration system, the ability system (similar to FFX) and other things. And, for other people, the new gameplay sucks..is like a kick in the butt to the other Final Fantasy games. The turn system combat was lost, the epic story was lost (the plot of this game is like Star Wars...a lot of people said it...and I say it too),the character design and personality lacks a lot of things. They don´t have any charisma, all are plain and do nothing in the story. The main protagonist Vaan...what is he doing in all the game? Nothing? And he is only one of the examples where the main character have nothing to do with the plot of the game.

Well in a few words: I DON´T LIKE THIS GAME but well, is my opinion and everybody has his own to this matter.

(Sorry for my bad english, I´m from Spain)

The Sega Dreamcast; was it worth buying?

1 year 7 months ago

"The sega dreamcast was a good console in his time. A console similar to Playstation 2 in architecture and very easy to program for. I don´t know why sega didn´t support this console more and launch more games and battle more with the playstation 2, xbox and Game cube in her generation.
For sega dreamcast appeared very good games like Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 (the first Sonic game in full 3d), good arcade games like Zombie revenge, Spawn, Virtua Fighter, Soul Calibur (the first of them, an excelent fighting game), great RPGs like Evolution Worlds, Skies of arcadia, Grandia 2 (one of the most beatiful RPGs of all the time) and, of course, excelent and famous shooters like Quake 3 Arena, Unreal Tournament and more. And these are only a few examples of the enormous game catalogue of this console.

We can mention the UMD system (the tamagochi memory card XD) and other great features of this machine (with no chip you can play with your...security copys XDD) and the estructure so similar to windows that makes the console so easy to program for.
I supose one of the main reasons of the fall of the Sega dreamcast was that the people know the destiny of the Sega saturn system and feared the same fate will occur to the sega dreamcast..."

can dreams hold answers for us?

1 year 7 months ago

"I think a dream is something related to our subconcient. I always dream that I´m going in my car with sometimes my family, sometimes with a friend, sometimes alone and, in some part of the traject, I near miss some other cars or I´m going to crash but I save it in the last moment.
I think the car and the road where I´m going is my life and the cars and other objects that appear in them are the difficulties that are appearing in the path of my own life.
And the people who are sharing the car with me...I think they are my support in my day routine.
But well, I´m not psicoanalyst or something like that. I don´t know anything about dreams but they are an interesting theme.
Another times I dreamed traveling with a girl in a train and, always, the train crash or somethin similar making us finishing our vacation, or holydays , the travel in general.
I think my dreams are saying to me: Stop your plans with this girl...you are gonna obtain nothing! Or something like this XD

Dynasty Warriors 6 too many?

1 year 8 months ago

"I played this series from the first game that was a fighting game like Street Fighter 2 and was very cool (but I heard that the first games of "Dinasty Warriors saga" appeared in arcade and were like Streets of rage and Final Fight style).
About the sixth title I don´t know what to say but this saga needs innovation, a lot of innovation. The Dinasty Warriors 2, 3, 4 and 5 were exactly the same and I don´t know how this Dinasty Warriors 6 looks but judging the images that appeared on the net and the videos appearing in pages like Gametrailers I think this game needs more and more innovation. But well, in the other side, I think if they change the game a lot the people who were fans of this saga will comence to hate them and not playing them.
So the question of add new features to the games or not is a little difficult and will be people who love them and people who hate them.
But in my opinion, the entire sagas are great and worth playing games."

Final Fantasy: Dissidia

1 year 8 months ago

"Yeah, Ehrgeiz was a figthing game of Square that appeared long time ago in arcades but they make it for the playstation 1 and was a pretty good game with a RPG mode and some minigames to play with friends (like capture the flag in the beach and other where you have to bash the button rapidly).
I remember that Square made another fighting game named Bushido Blade. Was about samurais fights with no life bars where you can kill your opponent with a single blow or hurt him a leg or arm making him more slower and easier to hit.

About this Dissidia, it have an interesting look with all the characters make by Tetsuya Nomura (my favourit game character designer) and looking at that Zidane Tribal new look you can say: WOW.
About the game I don´t know what to say...it resembles me like Power Stone or Super Smash bross but with 1 Versus 1 gameplay. We have to pray for Square enix and make them release more scans about this game and more videos pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeee T__T"

Lost Odyssey

1 year 8 months ago

"A post like this about a fantastic game like Lost Odyssey with so little answers in here O_O. This is incredible.

I bought it the first day it appeared in the shops here in Spain. I watched and readed previews and reviews from differentes sites and some of them said that the game was very bad and other says that the game was pretty good. They make me doubt but I buyed the game.
And when I played it I watched the truth, a new and breathtaking RPG was in front of my eyes. The story plays slowly at the beggining but when you beat the first part of the game the plot gets more interesting and you get stuck in the story as the good RPG can do. Hironobu Sakaguchi is one of the best storyteller around the world and the chapters of 1000 years of dreams make the story more detailed and sad. It has a very mature content with themes as hatred, the destiny, our existence and other subjects about the life of one single person.
The graphics are great (boostered by the Unreal Engine) and the design of the characters is amazing. The only part I don´t like is that the game do so many loadings between scenes and scenarios that you get a little bored of watch "loading" "loading" and the stats of your characters appearing in screen.

The music is awesome. I love the main theme of the game, the theme of the battles and all the remixes that Nobuo Uematsu makes with the main theme. There are peaciful songs and other more fast paced. A A+ OST for this game.
The gameplay is like the old school rpg we played in the SNES or Genesis consoles, with random combats, cities and dungeons to explore and lots of sidequests to do.

I love this game, I am at the fourth DVD and I´m doing the sidequests and I´m pretty adicted. Long life to Mystwalker and the Lost Odyssey series ^^"

How many love Utada Hikaru?

1 year 8 months ago

"I love her too. She is my favourite japanese singer followed by Maya Sakamoto who is a very powerful singer too.
Utada sang the songs for Kingdom Hearts 1 (Hikari and Simple and Clean in his english version) and for Kingdom Hearts 2 (Passion and Sanctuary in his englis version). The two of them were incredible lovely songs and I was quickly addicted to them.
And I heard that she plays Kingdom Hearts XDDD.

The latest songs of her that I heard were Heart Station and Stay Gold and I liked them too. Her voice is so nice and beatiful that you can´t stop listening to her.
And , besides of her voice, she is very pretty too"

WILD ARMS

2 years 3 days ago

"Ummm I played all of them and when I think of them only one word appear in my mind: quality.
They are great game with breathtaking sountrack made by Michiko Naruke (but I think the lasts chapters didn´t have he/she as the composer of the OST). The graphics were not important in this game because the thing that really shines in Wild Arms saga was his playability, the awesome sountrack and the nice feeling of the old-school RPG of SNES console.

For me the best of all was the first Wild Arms appeared on PSX a few years ago. The graphics were in 2d and ths characters and sceneraies were beatiful. The 3d engine of the combats was very poor but the graphic, as I said before, were not important for this game to become a great hit.

The soundtrack was astonishing, the introduction theme was incredible and the other rest of the songs were western style and other makes you open your mouth with surprise. The sound effects were right, nothing of the other world XD.

The gameplay was easy , towns and dungeons in 2d and combat in 3d with a lot of story and side quest to make you play and play a lot of hours.

The others Wild arms have too and incredible lot of good things but, I don´t know why but the first WA was different of the rest. Wild arms 2, wild arms 3 where so similar and Wild arms 4 and wild arms 5 (with that different combat system) didn´t convince me...
In this game saga the new features appearing in the last two chapters were not very welcome in my opinion: low story, linear gameplay in dungeons and towns, so strange battles and poor special attacks and secrets."

L´arc en ciel was a great group and make some of the best songs of all the time and this Daybreaks Bell in my opinion is one of the best they ever make.
And for the ending movie, I didn´t like it, well the video is good and all but I watched better ending that this. But the song is good and makes his mission."

Why did you like Code Geass

2 years 6 days ago

"I first liked Code Geass because the characters where made by CLAMP. And,for me, CLAMP are like goddess in the manganime universe, special persons who makes incredible manga and breathtaking stories.
And knowing that these goddess where working in this series I downloaded the first chapter and I was prepared for a good beggining. And so be it, I watched the firts episode and it fulfilled my expectations: an incredible character design, an OST that makes his work correctly and some interesting story in the incoming chapters.

And well, now I have to say that I like this series for his story, his characters and the things that gonna happen very soon when the second season appear in 2008.
A great series that I recommend to everyone here. You must wacht it and see Lelouch and Suzaku in action ^^"

It's a Wonderful World

2 years 6 days ago

"I played it a little time ago. I downloaded the japanese version of the game for my brother Nintendo DS and give it a try.
The game goods very look, with lively scenarios in Shibuya and characters with good animations and breathtaking design (by the hand of my God Tetsuya Nomura). The music was excelent, with dance japanese rythms, large variety of musics and original background sound effects that suits perfectly with the action.
The gameplay was a little strange in my opinion, the use of the touch screen for the movement and the interesting action in battles that you can fight in the two screens using the touch screen and the D-pad for battling the enemies at the same time.

The story I don´t know what to say yet, the game was in japanese and I didn´t undestand it . I know (reading in some magazines) that the game talks about a boy named Neku that is "forced" to play a death game in wich he have to do diferents tasks for the shinigamis or they kill him. He meets a girl called Shiki and she was playing too and the story start here. Neku was a boy who hates the society where he is and Shiki is a girl who go with a black plussy cat and battles with him.

We have too the badge system, that you can collect and use in combat like magic spells and abilities. And, a little curiosity, when you not play the game and, a few days later, you turn again to play...you gain experience for your badges depending of the game that you not played the game. Is and interesting system in my opinion, the first time I see it O_O

360 RPGs

2 years 1 week ago

"For 360 the best of all, in my opinion, is Eternal Sonata (or Trusty Bell).
But wait, we have to make a little diference with our opinions and make two differents lists because we can compare Japanese RPGs like Blue Dragon, Eternal Sonata or Enchanted arms to american RPG like Mass Effect, Oblivion and others like that.
They have different looks, gameplay and all in general is very different. There are people who prefer Japanese RPG like me, and they don´t like Oblivion (like me) but othe people consider Oblivion like THE GOD OF THE RPG GAMES and treat japanese rpgs like shit.
And yeah, is not very difficult to see who are the people who likes Japanese and american rpgs. But I think, in general, the xbox 360 has a lot of RPG for all the public: childish rpgs like Blue dragon and more adult rpgs like Oblivion or the incoming Lost Oddissey.

And about Final Fantasy, I have my doubts to see any Final Fantasy (except FFXI) in Xbox360. Square enix is very special and Sony knows that. And well...we have to wait to see what happens next in the war of the consoles XD"

ICO / Shadow of the Colossus

2 years 1 week ago

"I played them too and I have to say they are both epic.
First I played ICO and I was impressed for all the aspects this game has. First by the graphics, the big backgrounds, the abisms about the castle of ICO, the incredibly well done arquitecture of the building where Ico and Yorda were. The animations of the characters were wonderful and the sound effects suited perfectly with all the game. The story was a little intriging until the end and the final scene...opened for new titles.

And for Shadow of the colossus, same as ICO, incredibly wonderful graphics with enormous escenaries and enemies, realistic animations for the main character and his horse and very addicting gameplay and breathtaking music in the most intense moments.

A must buy and play for every gamer."

Wild ARMs 5

2 years 1 month ago

"I played it a loooong time ago with the japanese version of the game and I think the Wild arms series are a little down in my opinion. Wild arms 1 was an excelent game with good graphics, excelent music and old-school gameplay. Wild arms 2 was a great game too but with 3d graphics. The third Wild Arms remake the graphics and with the cellshading technique were good, the sountrack remains excelent and the combats were more intense and with more...movement XD.
But in Wild Arms 4..the fall of this series began. They changed the gameplay so drastically I don´t know what they were thinking ^^U. The combats, the exploring of the dungeons and the story were so simple that I don´know what to think.
For Wild arms 4 appeared new features but the combat system...was the same as WA4 and I hate it personally "

Game music.

2 years 1 month ago

"Totally agrees with Cdankutsuou. Yuki Kajiura is an excelent music composer and she did works like the music of Xenogears for videogames and OSTs for anime like .Hack Sign, .hack Liminality , .hack Dusk, Madlax, Noir and the recent Tsubasa reservoir Chronicles...I think she worked to in the soundtrack of Mai Hime and Mai otome series too.

And for videogames I always enjoyed Nobuo Uematsu and his breathtaking music for Final Fantasy series and now with works like Blue Dragon and Lost Oddisey.
I also enjoy Yoko Shimomura works with Kingdom Hearts series, Legend of Mana for Playstation 1, the Parasite Eve series and ( I investigated a little) with the soundtrack of the mitic Street fighter 2 XDD.
I think there are a lot of genious composers in the videogames universe, like Motoi Sakuraba with Valkirie profile series sountrack, Star Ocean series music and more recently with the Eternal Sonata score.
And another example was Michiko Naruke, the women composer of Wild Arms music that made an excelent job with Wild Arms 1 introduction and the rest of the sountrack, that was a master piece.
And for fighting games I think the best I ever heared was Guilty Gear X sountrack, rock and roll babies XDDD"

Halo 3

"Halo 3 is an awesome game. This is all. I played and buyed the first and second games of Halo series and I enjoyed them all. I like the revolutionary system of weapons, shields, vehicles and all the stuff in the first Halo, in Halo 2 appeared the dual wielding weapons and destructible vehicles and better graphics and remakes of old maps in multiplayer that I enjoyed it too.
And now, with Halo 3 in my hands I have to say that the good manners and gameplay of this saga remains in Halo 3. The excelent control, the awesome sountrack, the stunning graphics, the addictive multiplayer games (and now with xbox live like Halo 2), an interesting campaing mode (a little too short in my opinion) and new features like Forge or the video editing modes.
There are a lot of people who hates this game saying that is a Halo 2,5...and well, maybe they have reason but helll, Halo 2 was badass so a new upgrades version would be even better than that so I´m very happy with my new Halo.
And now, enjoying the enormous Sandtrap map or the beta map of Valhalla with big team battles and living the story of master chief and the destiny of the Earth with my owns eyes. An excelent game ^^"

Xenosaga

"I played te first and second parts of Xenosaga but I don´t totally like it. The first part was like an animation movie, all the time looking to these great FMV and very little gameplay. The game was long, but for all the storyline you have to read and watch.
But for the rest of the aspects the game was very good, nice manga graphics, stunning music and entertaining bits of gameplay and combat.
For the second Xenosaga episode appeared more battles, more dungeons to pass throught and the excelent music and story line remains there. But I couldn´t pass the game and I don´t know how it finish.
But I think the first Xenogears for Play Station 1, was more better than these Xenosagas in my opinion. A breathtaking story, lots of hours of gameplay and lots of intense action and intuitive combat system.
But all of them were good games, good job por Namco and Monolith ^^"

ToA (Tales of the Abyss)

"I finished it a while ago and the game was great. The storyline was breathtaking, all very well explained and with a lot of intriging plots and all that stuff.
I think the only "black spot" of this game was the lineality it has, go to this village, go to this place, go again, talk to him, talk to her, go again to that castle and over over and over ^^U"

The Legend of Dragoon

2 years 2 months ago

"I played it a loooong time ago, but for me it was as great and wonderful as many said. It was a good rpg game but that is all, the story was good and the graphics were great (the greatly made scenarios and the big enemies and all that stuff) but the battles, sometimes, were boring and the soundtrack was awful. But well, that game includes some interesting new features like the button push in the battles and the transformation in Dragoon.
It was created in 3 or 4 years, I don´t remember, but in that many time...i expected a more impresive RPG, things like Chrono Cross, Xenogears and other RPGs behind Final Fantasy were more impressive."
