"Ok, I have been a member of AP for a long time. I may not be really active in the forums, but I do check the site out every day. Lately, I have been having a really hard time uploading avatars... 15kb is a really small size...nothing I upload works and it's really starting to irritate me.. I go in Photoshop and reduce the file quality, but nothing works. I'm a little picky and I like my avatar to match my signature (which is not the case right now by the way) so please, tell me what to do, or if there is a gentle soul that would convert an image into an avatar for me, it would be greatly appreciated. "

In desperate need of help for a background.

"To all the great wallpaper-making minds out there, I need your help. I have been working on a wallpaper for too long now and I just don't know what to do with it anymore.

I vectored the two girls, their hair and kimonos took some time to do like I wanted them to...I tried MANY different backgrounds, but nothing was to my liking. Please, help me out...I'm even willing to send the psd file to someone if they want to make a background for it...

I am totally out of creative juice...it has been too long since I made walls, I just forgot how to make them."

"Considering it's been almost half a year since the last time I submitted a wallpaper...I figured I might as well use session zero in order to see if my wallpaper has what it takes to be on AP.




So yes, this wallpaper maybe seem basic, but I'm starting all over again. It's been two years since I made a wallpaper using only Photoshop effects. I started out using a tutorial than kinda went off in my own direction. I wanted to make a cutesy looking shojo wallpaper to match the feel of the actual manga. You know, shojo's always have little flowers and cute textures in them, and that's what I tried to do.

I cropped each flower individually, I like the subtle textured look they give to the background. I wanted it to be pink and blue to match Sano and Mizuki's clothing. All in all, I like it, but, is it good enough for AP?"

Piercings and Tattoos

"I have one hole in each ear. I used to have three in each, but since my blood is wacked, I could only wear gold jewelery in those two holes and I didn't always like it, so I decided to let them heal and close up.
I got my eyebrow pierced about humm, three years or so ago. I always wanted one and when I turned 21 and my dad couldn't bitch to me or stop me, I went and did it on a whim one day. I don't regret it at all, I love it and will surely keep it a long time.
About a year ago, I got my first tattoo on my right ankle. Me and two of my friends got a different variation of the same tattoo. Its something that I keep close to my heart and I know I will always love it, so I don't mind if its permanent lol.
I imagine tattoos hurt depending on how big and detailed you get them and where you get them.
Mines small and on my ankle, I think it took like 45 mins to do. The worst pain was when the guy did the outline, after that, it was fine."

What is your way to save more money wisely?

"It depends for me.
I have a full time job, but I decided recently to wait another year before moving out of my parent's place to buy a new car (well, loaned) I really needed it because I drive to work every day and the old car was killing my bank account...because of gaz.
I buy something for myself every once in awhile, most of the time, its anime-manga/ related, rather it be an anime figure or a dvd or two (I don't count my mangas because I have some series I follow every month ). My advice to you would probably be, don't buy anything unless you feel you truly want it or need it. I have a little alarm in my head, when I know I want it, I take it. If I pick it up and look at it from every angle, its most likely I wont end up buying it, or I'll buy it and have no use for it."

"I can eat it, but not as a full meal. I'll tolerate it as an appetizer or something. I was tried to eat it as a meal and some of it almost came out from where it came in. I feel that after awhile, the sea weed can get hard to chew and swallow, I choke on them almost every time."

Love the vector, hate the backround.

"A few days ago, I felt really retro and downloaded some "Saber Marionette J" songs because I love most of them and had lost them from my old computer. Long story short, I fell into a SMJ craze and found this scan:



Which I vectored and turned into this:



I wanted the background to look either like a background related to the scenery in SMJ or a funky sorta of techy-grungy wallpaper.
I didn't find any good images of the scenes in SMJ and I guess I suck at coming up with backgrounds from scratch (its been over 6 months since my last wall).
So please, any help will be greatly appreciated.

In the manga, she fights during the war that opposed Ishbal and the military. If she truly was part Ishballan, I don't think she would have joined the military and be sent to fight in this war since she seems to have a strong sense of devotion to those she loves and that would include her family.

"I was a little dissapointed in it.
I thought the storyline had great potential, but it kinda fell flat near the ending...A lot of things were left out, I don't know the whole story of Fate, but I have done a little research, and I just think they should have gone with another storyline for the anime.
What really dissapointed me, is that not a whole lot of information/ backround story are revealed for characters other than Shirou...I would have been nice to learn more about the others as well."

-Gundam Seed- I tried, believe me, it aired (and still is airing) on tv. I just don't get it. It just looks like a "boy's band" video mixed in with giant robots. And can you say that Lacus is annoying...I tried, and I respect people who like it, I just don't

I come on AP like for a few minutes for like every 30minutes.
If i'm in my room that is.

That's about how I do things to. I come to check out the new walls and scans I'm interested to see. I come by even when I'm at work, when I need a break off of what I'm doing, just to see what has been posted. I don't however, spend a lot of time in the forums, like I'm doing now...I should try to make up for that..."

"Like many people, I fear all sorts of bugs and stuff like that...but something that always returns for me is getting lost. I would freak if I ended up somewhere I don't know, all alone, with knowing no one in town...if that happened to me in a big city, it would be awful. That has been a fear I have had since childhood and I think I'll have it all my life."

"I use Photoshop. Both CS2 and an old Photoshop ver.7 (wich I us the most and love). For the rest, its like learning anything basically. Read up on it and practice. Read some online tutorials and get to it, crop pictures, try effects, download brushes, thats how I got started...not saying I'm good, but man, you should see the first walls I made...we all got to start somewhere."

"I'm a big fan of R.O.D. I just bought the first volume of the manga in English recently (Thank you Viz) and I won the OAV along with the tv series. For those of you who have seen and loved the tv series, I strongly recommend you pick up the manga. It's all about Yomiko and Nenene in the past and it has some tidbits of Yomiko's lover wich makes some parts of the tv series much clearer."

"I don't want to be any of them...I don't really like them...except for Ukitake. When Rukia was in peril, he's one of the few that put his career on the line to save one of his former squad members, that's why I like him so much. But I always like Histuguya (I'm sure I spelled his name wrong) the way he gets teased by Matsumoto about his size is just too cute. ^^ "
