What Makes A Good Video Game

"I apologize if this is late, since I just started on the forums...but anyway...But yeah, what makes a good video game definitely depends on the story and gameplay ...and sometimes on the graphics and music too. I'm currently taking a Game Design 2 class, and a lot of my classmates agree on that aspect as well. I mean, a game can't be a game if the story and the gameplay is poorly designed. Gameplay should be fun, not impossible to get through, unique, and have at least some sort of interactivity (I'm so all for local multiplayer games). Story should be interesting and have the player connect to the characters.
And with the on-growing technology and better future game systems, hopefully multiplayer games won't be laggy and will have better graphics and music too. "
