I'm pretty sure all of my tutorials are listed on the RMX site. They should be. If not, could you tell me which ones aren't up there?

As for pens in the UK, I'm not too sure. You'd have to ask around in UCPSB for more information. I'm pretty sure there are threads on pens in the UK.
I use the RSVP MX which is like 19-20 cm long. It's not that bad. In fact, 18 cm is not bad either, but that all depends on your hand size. I have rather small hands."

"10 minutes? Try 2 years. XD But yeah, if you want to be able to do SOMETHING, then I think you'll need at least 1 whole day before you get something consistently.

I got some more tutorials up. I just wanted to say that there's no real order in learning tricks. Just watch whatever trick perks your interest, learn what it's about, and try to see if you're ready for the trick. If not, then move on to something else. Pen spinning doesn't have an organized curriculum, and it should never have one. It isn't school, it's a hobby. Do your own discoveries and see where it takes you. My tutorials merely bring the learning curve down. That's it."

"Strictly speaking of images, when she first debuted she was just a plain poser. Her singing is very pop, yet her image was a punk. It was easy to tell that she was just posing.

Now she's more pop like in her image while her music has gotten... well, more pop. I have to admit that "Girlfriend" is catchy but I still don't like her music. But at least I can agree to her image matching up to her music."

"Eh, I don't know much about her songs but from what I listened to, she's not that good of a singer. If she did compose those songs, then that's awesome. She did an incredible job making those catchy songs but her singing just isn't hitting it."

"First and foremost, Rihanna does NOT have any kind of vocal talent. I know that it would be unfair to compare her to greats like Mariah Carey or Whitney Houston, but this girl cannot sing. Her voice doesn't carry a good quality and whenever she sings, it sounds like she is trying hard to catch up with the voice that isn't even there. You can hear what I mean in that one song "Unfaithful." That song is horrid. It's not so much in the pronunciation of the words, but the driving force (or lack of) behind them. To me, it doesn't sound like singing... It sounds like wailing.

Now that song "Umbrella" is out and I can't understand why people think the "ella ella ella ey ey ey" part is catchy. It's very annoying and I cringe whenever my gf listens to it in my car.

R&B used to be awesome. Now it's 2007 and you have songs like this. I don't even think this is real R&B."

Quite a boring life. In between all of the Youtubing and such, I do make time to go see my gf, mod some pens, study Japanese, download music, MAYBE download manga, watch Lucky Star clips on Youtube, and other miscellaneous things."

-For those of you who are discouraged of learning from my tutorials because I am left handed, just take a mirror and place it next to the monitor. How do you think I felt when I had to learn from right-handed people?

-Like I said before, you don't need special pencils or pens. I have a video discussing this right here

-The wikipedia entry for pen spinning isn't good. Some guys are trying to set up a Pen Spinning Wiki. Hopefully it'll be up ASAP.

I've begun to penspin about a week ago, after seeing this thread to be honest, and I've come to the point were I've almost mastered the ThumbAround. Just a few more days and I should have it done.

So now I wonder, what would be good to learn next?

How about the rest of the Fundamentals? There's Charge, Fingerpass, and Sonic. Then there's the reverse of the 4 Fundamentals. Then you have other tricks to learn. Take your time."

"For pens, I recommend a Pentel RSVP. You can get those just about any store like Wal*Mart. Just take out the cap and put it on the backside.
Or you could buy a Dr. Grip. They're more expensive but they're bigger and I think they are great for beginners.

The pens that we use are all modified. I use a Pentel RSVP barrel with Uniball Signo metal tip, Pentel HGG grip, and Papermate Profile grip. It's a lot heavier than your normal pens, and it's more balanced.

Other people use double capped pens or markers."

What is your way to save more money wisely?

"Here's a tip. For those of you with checking accounts, go to the ATM once a week and only withdraw up to a certain limit. My friend withdraws $150, so he will try and survive on just that much for that week.

It's a great way to limit yourself. To make it even more hardcore, leave your debit card at home so you won't be tempted to make any purchases. I wouldn't recommend this because you'll need it for emergencies.

I'm very good at saving money. I only buy what I need and almost never buy on impulse."

Aye, you do have very good tutorials, I just have no talent for this. [edit] Alright well I decided to try this again. I appear to be having a slight problem with the sonic (normal). It either gets stuck between my middle and ring finger or it turns into a charge. Anyone know a way to fix this? Or will more practice magically remedy it?

If it is getting stuck between the middle and ring finger, then you need to make your middle finger come towards your body and make the ring finger away. There needs to be a gap between those 2 fingers so that the pen can travel through them.

Anyways, for those of you who have tried it in the past but couldn't get it, try again! I would recommend that you get a Pentel RSVP pen, stick the cap to the back side and try the tricks again. My tutorials should help out a bit."

Usually when I talk to people, I have no trouble relating or understanding what they are talking about. As far as life experience goes, I think I have some of that covered. It helps with conversations.

A word of advice to the younger ones here. Make some friends that are older than you. They may teach you a thing or two about life. "
