"I've been collecting wallpapers for over 3 years now and I have a couple of things to say...


First up, I really hate tech-heavy wallpapers. The ones that use all these filters and tools that make a wallpaper look incredibly busy and unorganized. Want to know what they look like? Just go to any wallpaper site and you're bound to see at least a few. I'm not naming any names, but there are some people here that do the same. While techy-walls are supposed to be an art in itself, I highly dislike it as it detracts from the original image. Sure, the techs themselves might be highly skilled and must've taken many hours to make, but that doesn't mean that the wallpaper has appeal. To this day, I only saw a handful of INCREDIBLY good tech-heavy walls out there and I own them. Whoever wants to know what I mean, come and contact me yo.

I have no problem with the use of filters. Sometimes it's needed. However, using too many filters in the wrong way will make a wallpaper look obnoxiously ugly, almost as if to say "hey, look at me! I'm stupid looking and it might say something about the waller too!"

Overall, simple wallpapers are the way to go. Bantam makes some damn good wallpapers btw. Now THAT'S a good waller right there folks.

"Well, in terms of science, explosion is much more dangerous than implosion. If you depressurize a Coke can and submerge it into water, the can will implode, but nothing gets sucked into the can.

Right now, it looks something like this...

Well, the problem is that my Japanese folder is over 6 GB and everytime I open it up, it takes a while for it to load so I'm wondering how should I organize things?

"First things first, why the hell does Meg dislike that guy so much? It's not like he did something to offend her, did he?

I was watching the 2nd episode and noticed some things. The fight scenes are pretty good, but from where things are going, there's not too much originality going on. The execution of storytelling done here is too... obvious, just like all other anime. However, this is only a very weak speculative point. Must wait to see everything.

How much do YOU spend on Anime and manga?

"I said it before and I'll say it again. I feel bad that I'm not spending any money on anime. Once I get the money, I will buy the anime that deserves to be bought. Come to think of it, I'm more interested in buying manga than anime. I can think of more examples of manga I want to buy than anime.

So far, I only spent a couple hundred bucks on some anime bought in HK (those bootlegging bastids), a wallscroll, and a plush toy. If anything, I buy more merchandise than anime.

anime-DVD vs. VHS debate

"Above all, DVD. While it is true that the price range of the DVD can be daunting, the price of a VHS tape is no better off. You can pay just a little more for incredible sound and video quality. Furthermore, you can interact with DVDs and some come with extra tidbits.
I believe that DVDs are much more durable than VHS tapes. The discs are kept in a plastic container, away from dust, light, and moisture. Tapes on the other hand do not have such a container. Also, DVDs take up less space. A scratch can be taken care of with a DVD-disc cleaner. The same can't be said of VHS tapes. The magnetic film of a VHS tape can be easily ruined and manipulated so that the stuff on it can be magnetically ruined or written over. DVDs don't have that type of danger.
Back up copies can be made easily with both media types, but I suppose that DVD copying is much more costly. However, I think if one really needs to back up his stuff, then it's worth spending the money. VHS tapes are easily copied. Still, the integrity of the durability of each media type comes into play.

So yeah... DVDs. I still don't buy anime though. I really need to, but being a broke mofo sucks. I'll get back to you people once I get a job."
