I refused to believe that they actually died until I saw that.

I've read the first 4 pages...then page 6...and now, I, former member of Hentai-Heaven subbers, am gonna say my very damn opinion.

SEX IS SEX. If you see a woman's privates and breasts with some form of sex. It's PORN. Doesn't matter if it's a damn hentai, 3D, or real live action. No matter how you bend it to favor your argument, it still comes to the fact that hentai is another media of porn. See SEX SELLS.

DAMN WESTERN THINKING. Believe me, most of us grew up in heavily western influenced countries (and yes, the Phillipines do count as well). We also grew up with initial thoughts that every cartoon should be exampled by Disney (anime wasn't really mainstreamed or even easily and readily available in the U.S. until 1997, even then it was very costly). Thus, we came up with opinions saying that anime (in we put in our heads as cartoons) should not show any type of pornographic thought. I'm pretty sure you guys are not really much of a saint about animation if you enjoy series like HellSing, Neon Genesis, or even Love Hina. It's not your mommy's cartoon she bought for you at Target. It's another type of media to be shown as entertainment to the public. The term Entertainment is not set for one type of audience as well.

SEX SELLS. Believe it or not, and you could bet my progress as a Marketing and International Business Major on the line, that SEX SELLS real well in Japan. In fact, it sells just about almost anywhere in the world. If you were a guy and you have a problem in terms of ecchiness in anime (which i would still question your sexuality) and yet you were turned on by a girl in a night club wearing a skimpy outfit with a thong. How about looking at hawt covers in FHM or Cosmo magazines? Why is there ALWAYS a picture of a girl in tight and/or loose clothing in nearly 80% of magazines? SEX SELLS, people! Doesn't matter if it's a little or a whole lot, Sex exists and it sells like hotcakes. It doesn't matter where it's located, if it's there, it will usually sell better than something that doesn't have it. It is more likely that an anime-related game will more likely to sell if it had some sort of hentai in it than stand-alone. The sales for stand-alone anime games is most likely not to succeed in competition in sales compared with other hentai-content titles.

NOT EVERYTHING IS GREAT. Yes, bad hentai exists. So does bad porn. So does bad anime series. Hell, look at the American TV series and find bad shows that you don't feel like watching (like those soap operas that lasted 30+ years). So of course you will run into bad titles. No different from Hollywood movies, too!

ANIME TITLES FROM HENTAI. Don't say you're a truely the *put rank here* Anime fan if don't know jack shit about the influence of Hentai. Shuffle was a hentai game. Fate/stay Nigh and Tsukihime were from hentai-content titles. Hell, even freaken AIR, KANON, and TO HEART were one of these top choices for h-games last time I remember for 2002. Hell, look up the game School School, doesn't it look too much like School Rumble?

THOSE WHO LIKE HENTAI ARE SICKOS? Well, that's a very well darn opinionated blind statement. It's like me saying that those who like Hip-Hop and Thug Life are idiots who don't know any better to live their lives. Or I could say those who own a Honda Civic or Integra don't know jack shit about their cars and see those as the fastest cars ever created (FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, LOOK UP FERRARIS). Then I could say those who watch anime has another else better to do because it's no different than watching TV. Or the fact that people posts on these forums must've been bored out of their mines in their life (I'm a work right now, hehe). It is your own closed opinion about people and it doesn't make you a better person than the next. Heck, you could say those Animators probably have no lives because they spend too much time making anime for you and only think about anime, and yet you enjoy their product. You may even be surprised how many of them start out as animators for hentai companies.

Thank you for reading my very damn long post. I'm not here to influence or change your opinions, just might as very well edumacate (mistyped on purpose) you against many of the poorly stated posts before this.

I'd have to say it is a success since they are sold out EVERYWHERE and on ebay they all go for $700+.
As for games, Call of Duty 2, Condemed: Criminal Origins, Dead or Alive 4, Gears of War, Gun, NBA 2K6, NFS:Most Wanted, Prey, Project Gothom 3, Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion, Quake 4 and more games to come. I am normally a computer gamer but XBox 360 has a very tempting lineup. And you say some of those games are not out yet, TRUE, but how many games are out for the PS3 or Nintendo Revolution? 0, yet, a big fat 0, cause those haven't even released yet! Not much of a choice eh? Next Gen XBox 360, or nothing... not a hard choice.

You know what really, really strikes a nerve with me?

This whole "Dubs suck, just because" thing. Why do you people hate dubs so much, honestly? How do you non-Japanese speakers know if a voice is good or not in the subs? Sure, you can detect "Angry" and "Sad" in a voice across language barriers, but how do you know the voice is good? Whenever I ask this question I always get the same crappy answers like "BECUZ DUBS SUCK" and "I JUST KNOW!".

Dubs don't suck (Unless 4kids is the dubber in question, then it's guaranteed to be butchered at the very least). Naruto's Dub certainly doesn't suck. Full Metal Alchemist's dub doesn't suck. Inuyasha's dub doesn't suck. Samurai Champloo's dub doesn't suck. I can go on and on with that. You people just don't give the dub a chance in hell, you just outright talk down on it because it's good for your e-cred to hate dubs.

That aside, even if you declare yourself a master of voice acting in japanese subs, what if these fan sub groups stopped providing their free, and extremely generous service? What would you base your hatred off of? Nothing. Would you all just give up on anime at that point? I doubt it. You'd suck up your e-pride and maybe give dubs a chance.

The point though, is that dubs aren't bad, and it angers me to see people say "____ DUB SUCKS", and not give a reason. And "editing" is not a good reason. Anime originates from Japan. Their culture is different from ours. What is acceptable and what isn't differs a good deal between there and here (US). If a dubbing company removes some blood, or implies violence instead of outright showing it (Like in the Naruto Dub) it's because they want the show to be aired at a certain time, for everyone to see, instead of late night where only fans would see it.

EEW!! Why does everyone seems to like hentai? It's super bad for your lives! You could be punished at hell with the deepest fire!! I'm not lying, this is all for your goods..

...also, most people are fans of crap anime like inuyasha and fma...
