As for their new album... I didn't like it so much. I like songs like "Pushing Me Away" and "Numb" and "My December", but now, their sound has changed a lot, and it's just not my style anymore."

Instrumental or Lyrical?

"It really depends what I'm in the mood for. I personally definitely like music with lyrics more than just instrumentals, but there are still some really good instrumental pieces, whether it be classical, jazz, or electronic. I think just the voice alone adds so much more depth to the music (at least the music I listen to), unless the lyrics are shallow and repetitive and otherwise mainstream... Even in my OSTs, with the exception of a very few songs, I will generally listen to the songs with some kind of vocals in it, like in the Elfen Lied OST I like Lillium the best and in the Noein OST I like Shangri-La the best.

I have to agree that when mainstream lyrics are repetitive, then I end up not liking the song so much. Hence why I listen to Jpop instead. :)"

"Depends on the class, but I'll usually either daydream or solve a Rubik's Cube. The latter's really rude, but with some teachers, I really just stopped caring... -___-;;

"As good as Evangelion was, I think that Fafner is really Evangelion-esque. The Festum remind me of the Angels a lot, minus the physical appearances.

"I remember when I was like in elementary school, I hated chocolate. Now, I love it. Except for chocolate ice cream and chocolate milk. Ick, I don't understand why anyone would need that much sugar and dairy in one food.

"It was excellent for the anime. The soundtracks just had a really nice, appropriate feel to Bebop.

Although, when I actually got my hands on the soundtracks, all of the songs were really repetitive (except for The Real Folk Blues and The Egg and I). A bit annoying, so I don't really listen to the OST anymore."

"I think having more than 100 episodes is, well, excessive. I personally ended up not liking any series I've seen that had more than about 50 episodes, included Dragonball, Naruto, and Inuyasha.

I think the 24-28 range is best. Sometimes it leaves me wanting for more, but then again, more could be a bad thing..."

"I was never really a fan of BoA; I just don't like the style of her music. There are a few songs I like, such as Kiseki, Every Heart, and Everlasting. Personally, I think the Japanese songs are better than her Korean songs, but then again, that could just be because I understand the latter. ^^;;

With BoA, it's always been a couple of songs I like among a bunch of songs I didn't like. Like her album OUTGROW (which was a pretty 'meh' album to begin with), I only listened to Everlasting and that was it."

"My all-time personal favorite was Super Mario RPG. Any game where Bowser and Mario are on the same team rocks, hehe. The music in that game was spectacular too, in my opinion (especially Rosewood Forest).

Although, I've really liked Tales of Phantasia, Chrono Trigger, and Golden Sun. Zelda was my favorite series, too."

"They're pretty different, in my opinion, considering the plots, main characters' goals, etc. I'm not sure if it's fair to compare between the two.

I liked Bebop more than Champloo, though. The anachronisms in Champloo really bothered me, even though they're a somewhat major part of the series."

There are lots of comedy animes out there that bring me out of the dumps. For instance, the two greats out there that always make me laugh (understatement) are Azumanga Daioh and School Rumble (Azumanga Daioh more so than School Rumble though).

"I play trumpet and piano... Mostly fight songs and jazz on trumpet and classical stuff on piano. I do have a bunch of anime sheet music, but I'm not good enough to play most of it on either instrument. The most I can play is a somewhat simplified version See-Saw's Anna Isshodatta no ni on piano."
