First wallpaper - Code Geass

"It's good enough quality, although it is a bit grainy in some areas, like Lulu's hair and coat. And it could also be my screen, but Lulu's coat is a bit discoloured. The checkered bar dividing part of the background is a bit strange, and I don't believe that it is boring to just have one pattern in the background. :)

For that red bar that everyone's complaining about, I would say, just take it out and try moving the characters more to the left. If it doesn't look right, then I would suggest what kuryuki said to make the text wider and thicker and perhaps change the color to a less distracting color. I think it is perfectly fine to use pink or lavender for the color of the bar! INDEED, IT MUST BE PINK. XD

I hope you put up your new and improved wallpaper up for us to see soon! "

Can't say that I wasn't exactly expecting it after what happened in 144 with the cliffhanger. :) I love how Shou and Kyouko react to each other and Shou's just a big adorable dork. I kinda miss Kyouko's acting process and I really want to get back to Natsu, but as long as the romance doesn't take over completely, I'll be happy.

On another note, I really hope that they make a second season of Skip Beat! because they left off at the middle of the manga and didn't go into the Dark Moon storyline at all. So fingers crossed! X3"

How is Japanese Anime better than America Cartoons?

"I feel that it's not the quality of the animation or themes and things like that, it's because of it's audience. Cartoons are mostly aimed at children in the USA and in Japan, it's for everyone, which is why people of all ages enjoy anime. I mean, we consider some anime "great" because of it's themes but it's only good if we understand the theme. Children watch cartoon for fun and that's it. Also the guy above me, fearednerd, mentioned all these other great cartoons that outlast Japanese anime. I also find it a comfort that I understand fully what the person's saying in English because there are some words and phrases that can't be fully translated to it's actual meaning."

What do you think of people reading manga at the bookstore?

"Hmm...I visit both Borders and Barnes and Nobles sometimes and I've read at both places without being asked to leave. I know I can read manga online, but I prefer reading a book that I can hold and take my time with. I do buy manga occasionally, but I can't afford to buy all the books that I want to follow through with. But it does irk me very much when the books are all messed up, I mean come one, you're not paying to read a book, at least clean up after yourself. "

"I personally don't care. People have their personal preferences and if they don't like a certain thing, they should not make rude comments. Nudity is not always about sex. Plenty of people use nudity to make a statement and I feel that eechi walls are the same as any other walls--if they aren't well done or good art, then they aren't good walls, same as other walls. "

"I feel that I've mostly accepted myself for who I am. I mean I like that things that I like and I am the way that I am. Sometimes, I question myself: am I strong enough? am I smart enough? why are so many people smarter than me? Why am I so indecisive? Etc. etc. Everyone has flaws, no one can be perfect and that's what makes us human. I mean, I don't have to worry about pleasing everyone, it's just not possible. But just because it's not possible doesn't mean we don't try and I think that trying is good enough and it should be enough. I know that I am a young, undecisive, naive, questioning teenager and I'm allowed to wonder who I am for the rest of my life if I want to. "

Yes, I agree with the comment that people are saying that the background doesn't match the image, but how about you try to just give it a plainer background? The red stars are overloading the whole wallpaper and having a plain black background and some white text would make it better. I hope that my comment helps you in your quest! :D"

Girls Playing video games

"My only online experience playing a video game is MapleStory, and although I haven't experience it before, I have heard of random people asking other random people to be their boy/girlfriend when they have never interacted beyond being on the same screen. Sometimes the same thing goes for the people who get "married." Which I find funny, as most of the time, they're doing it for the benefits of being married. I feel that girls also do get certain advantages of being female, although some people are less than polite, as you mentioned, when adressing females.

But I feel that, since this is all done online and there is no "real" interaction, the best thing to do is to ignore those people and go and kick their video game arses. "

"I adore the relationship between Rukia and Ichigo the way they are now. But I feel that their relationship can go either way. Whether or not Ichigo blows it or not like Renji is up to the future. Some people say, "What about Orihime?" Real life isn't all sugary sweet and not everyone ends up with someone. I would be irked if that did happen, with Ichigo and Orihime. I'm not saying that they couldn't end up together, but it's obvious that right now, Ichigo isn't viewing her as a romantic interest. Whereas Rukia, he has more of a relationship with. I am hoping for a Ichigo/Rukia romantic relationship myself though. :D"

Although I should say first that you should put up a link to the wallpaper instead of direct posting the image onto the thread. :]

I think that the lines of the vector could be a bit thinner, so it looks a bit cleaner. The second "afterimage" could also be a bit more blurred, compared to the other afterimages. And maybe you should add simple the background, like a sunlight glare or something...hmm, I dunno, but that's all I can help you with. I hope I did, a bit. Good luck!"

This movie is a sort of filler and they can't have anything in the movies that messes up with the canon anime. "Hm...I didn't read a lot of the previous posters, so I'll just go along with what I have on hand. ^_^;

I go to school in a relatively gay-friendly neighborhood and so there are rainbow flags everywhere. I don't think about homosexuality much, because there's this part of me that knows that I wouldn't want to be in a sexual relationship with a girl. (Not to mention, my conservative Chinese-immigrant parents would kill me...) My friend told me that she was bisexual and I can't say that I was surprised. She acted, you know, normal and that goes to show that you can't tell who's what. I am right now, questioning myself. I flirt with girls, in what may be a joking tone, but I wonder whether or not I really mean what I say. I find myself wondering how it would be like to kiss a girl, whether it would feel awkward or anything. I'll leave that I'm at a age where I'm not certain of anything and I'm going through a phase and I'll be sure once I get more experience. Good luck to all those who are questioning themselves! Never give up a friend just because of their sexual orientation! "

But I don't want to go to school to learn how to drive. -_-' I think that I would much rather ride a motorbike or a bicycle, as I was once in a car of an inexperienced driver...and that was pretty scary.
