After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! Nintendo DS Vs. Sony PSP

"DS. Why? Because the PSP is still lacking a goods game. Something that just makes you go "Wow!" Right now, the DS has Meteos, Kirby Canvas Curse and Advanced Wars DS. PSP has...nothing. Maybe later in the PSP lifespan there will be an awesome game, but for right now all there is is same old same old. Revolutionary games were never really something Sony ever had anyway. And THAT is what makes a system. "

Anime Art styles. How much does it count?

"The style can play a role, but not a large one. The style just has to match the anime genre. I want to see goofy looking characters for comedy, and more realistic looking ones for dramas. Just think about the art style for School Rumble in a story like Blood: The Last Vampire. Doesn't work out, does it? They can be mixed also. Full Metal Alchemist has its bit of seriousness, but there are also little pieces of comedy there too. The characters don't look too realistic or too goofy, and thats good. Now animation quality is a different story. I don't want to watch my anime in 5 frames a second.

Cowboy Bebob The Movie

XD If you buy the American DVD, the one that just says, "Cowboy BeBop: The Movie" and you look on the back cover, they actually have a screencap from Mushroom Samba on the back. Even though that's nowhere on the movie. =P Just something I found out at the movie store.

Anyway, I think buying the DVD is worthwhile. Although I did record it on tape. But if I had more money, I'd probably buy the DVD version so I could listen to it in Japanese as well as English. =)


I own a copy of the english DVD and I didn't notice that til you pointed it out. Ha, thats pretty funny though. "

This drawing is amazing. You have really nice, then, and neat lines even with the sketchy feeling. You also made the girl's dress extremely intricate. I open the image and see all the small designs on it and just go "Wow." Her eyes seem kind of cold though. I don't know if that is what feeling you were trying to get her to show. Even though shes in that wonderful dress, she seems sad. Still, very nice. "

Super Smash Bros Series

"My favorite character has to be Luigi. It is so easy to stay on the stage when you're him. Not only does he have his up+B attack to get back on the ledge, but he can also turn his body into a rocket. If you're lucky, one if his attacks can even push your enemy off of the edge, to the point that they can't get back up unless they have super fast reactions. It is great really. You also get the element of surprise. Everyone I've gone against goes "Haha, Luigi sucks" whenever I pick him. They don't really pay much mind to him and concentrate on the other players. But Super Smash Bros. is probably the best fighter series in my opinion. Not only a clever idea, but fun too. Can't wait til the Revolution version of the game. "

"I think this is how it goes. It has been a while.

Vincent leaves a clue that deals with 'Jack.' The gang figures it is jack o lantern. The ISSP invades the water tunnels, because they think that Vincent is going to poison everyone's water. They find a Jack o Lantern balloon and investigate it. All that is it in is oxygen. Spike comes up with a plan and heads off to the Halloween parade in the middle of town. There he sees a tower and figures that this is 'the bridge that links heaven and earth.' That is where Vincent must be. He goes up and can't see Vincent. Suddenly, Vincent comes from above and drops onto Spike. They start fighting. After some talk between the two, Vincent sets off a balloon in the middle of the parade that is filled with the nano tech. At this point, Faye has held up the weather control station and makes it rain. Then, the three old men that are often seen in Bebop episodes are flying planes, pouring the antidote into the rain. Later, Elektra appears and shoots Vincent. Vincent then remembers that he once loved Elektra, but had forgotten. The end. "

Anime Music- Important role?

"Music is always important. The examples you always hear about are Cowboy Bebop (which you already mentioned), Samurai Champloo, and Wolf's Rain. I see anime as being split up into 3 sections. There is story, animation quality, and sound. Story being characters, plotline, and the sort. Animation quality is obviously the amount of frames they use, color choices, style. Sound being music and sound effects (sword slashing, car horn, ect.) No anime can be great with one of those missing. "

"I'd have to agree with JTsang. It looks very akward to have just a plain photo behind a character. If you're going to go make the background yourself though, I really love the moon/cloud combo thats going on in the stock photo. You should try to simulate that as best as you can. Looks really cool behind Ichigo :P. I also don't understand what the flames have to do with anything, but I don't watch much Bleach, nor do I read it. That might be why. "

Those are actually all rumors. The casting has not been decided at all, and the name changes are not official. An inteview with the artist of those sketches said that the name changes (Kate Rose and Ray) were just things the artist wrote down to remember which girl was which. Even though the name above Rei's character design says Ray, on her plug suit it still says "Rei Ayanami." But yeah, I agree the sketched girls aren't too appealing >_>;"

It seems ok to me. The stock photo in the bg seems too realistic, though. It also looks like now, rather than the future when Eva's set. I don't know that the road needs anything else, as such.

I also find kaji gets rather too lost in the darkness. The text of his name is difficult to make out too.


I completely agree. The new version does fix the whole 'Kagi getting lost in the dark BG' thing. The stock photo makes the background too realistic and like he said, the city doesn't match the setting. You could probably make the city a seperate layer from the street, mess around with the street layer (Make it look less real), then fancy up the city layer differently. (Mess with textures and colors or something) "

"I don't know ALL of the parodies in School Rumble. The ones I can pull off the top of my head are DBZ/Fist of the North Star, Initial D, Battle Royale(manga only as of right now) Star Wars, and some samurai movie (Can't remember the name of it). I'm wondering whether one of the characters is a parody in itself. Flimsy kid that kinda looks like Keitaro from Love Hina. His name is Nara Kentarou. Too close to be a coincidence, right? :P Anyway, great series. Highly recommend it. "

"I've played Star Wars Galaxies, Ragnarok Online, FFXI, Guild Wars, and small parts of City of Heroes, Lineage II, and Maple Story. Out of all of them, I found Guild Wars to be the most fun. I keep going on and off on Ragnarok. I play for a month then I go on a long hiatus. I should just stop playing all together. "

I runned it on this comp (AMD64 3500+, 2gb of ram, Radeon X700pro) and the game was like tremendously slow even at medium details and medium res. :| emoticon




My computer is a lot worse than yours and it ran on high settings with no lag.

I love the game. The demo was really scary (Though, I really do get scared easily). Can't wait til it hit shelves so that I can start playing some more. The multiplayer isn't the best though. I always teamkill when a teammate comes around a corner too fast. "

I would agree with what someone said earlier, about the house in the background. That may be a little too advance for right now though. If you can pull it off however, by all means, try it. I think it would look great.

But i think you could add morepicures..
