Their lead singer was a semi-finalist one year for Canadian Idol.
I have a friend who's obsessed with them.

"WELL.
I've been drawing seriously for about a year. In my opinion I haven't been getting too far.
The following picture contain: Two works in progress.
They have descriptions to go with them, however I will only say a few things about it.
I'm only developing this style of lineart.
And It's the only time if ever tried to color something tradtionally. Of course, it's not done.
My Questions for you is?
On a scale of one to ten, where would you place this. (please take into account my art experience and age (13) ... just .. don't be too cruel.)


This second picture is a bit big.
It's a WIP I am utterly convinced I will never finish.
The lineart is a sketch, don't remind me. I'm a lazy person.
Oh and I "half colored it on photoshop".
My Question for you is?
Do you think I have to potential (in the future) to be able to sell my work? ( for buttons, bookmarks... etc.)


Any Other opinions, and well rounded critique about my art is very appreciated. =D"

Seems, you know how to do the glow effect. It's really bright. Maybe tone it down a little. But it's still quite good, I like the way you did it ;)

One thing that definatly needs work, is the extraction of the image. Try looking up tutorials that may help :D

I think it would look better as a realistic image, mabye remove the brush or whatever is overlayed on top of the sunset. It would probablly look better.

"Try making it into some sort of a realistic wallpaper. It usually looks better. And also try to work on your extraction method and use only one picture of the same character.
