But my life, although it has had MANY downs and some slight ups, i would say that my life has been pretty fair. I mean, i am where i am in life based on my own actions and for my life to be unfair it would mean that someone else has been dictating my life, or attempting to."

Welcome back to AP. I guess it was some awesome community if you guys competed and all that.

It wasn't the entire forum that battled. Most of the people at the forum were there because they liked anime and it was (and will always be imo) the best well designed site at the time. that being said it influenced allot of it's forum members to want to persue a path in graphics.
Battling was merely starting a thread issuing a battle, a stock photo is decided upon, and the deal is to see who can render that photo the best, the judging done by other forum members via thread poll.

"I cannot not beleive how the time has passed! It has already been a WHOLE YEAR and 9 months since my first (and only!) wallpaper on ANIMEPAPER!
So, with all respect due i feel like i should take it upon myself to reintroduce myself!

Hi, how are your feelings today?
ha ha ha, lets see, I have an extensive history with the internet anime community which I had lost the past few years! Well to get you all up to date, my roots of graphic designing started with my love of anime and led me online.
I did not even know what a URL was the first time i got online, and webster's dictionary didn't have the definition! ( lol) So I found geo-cities websites and many homestead and free accounts, but then I managed to stumble upon Anime Legacy in 1999. I was impressed and wanted to achieve a skill that of the very best at the time.
I took the time to sign up to the Animelegacy Forums where I was known as "Coldice3k1" and met allot of well known webmasters designers, and good "friends." T_T (lol)
While at the forums I also learned a lot, I remember the battling days, where forum members would have graphic battles, slowly enhancing each others skills and really pushing each other to new heights. While experiencing the golden ages of anime online, a group of friends and I ventured into AnimeProphecy.net! The forum community was a mix of all of the friends that wanted to keep the Anime Legacy vibe alive after the site and it's staff sort of "gave up" on providing quality information and awesome graphics all for the sake of anime! So with all things good, AnimeProphecy.net came to an end. But I will never forget the friends I met and have actually worked with! So here I am, about 9 years or so later and rekindling flame of designing once again, in all aspects of design!

I ever heard this from my teacher. The cause is globalization. It's because the ozone is going to break, the sunlight is going to get straight to us. It says that, then we couldn't live in the upper ground anymore because the sun is really hot. We have to live in the underground because of this.
I hope this never happens!

Wow I once had a dream when i was a really little boy that for some reason it was very dangerous to go outside. looking out of the window was even a bad idea because the sun was so hot and radioactive! I still remember that dream till this day! But i honestly hope that this is all just some big unsolved mystery that DOES NOT include the end of EARTH lol."

It is said that children are the ones that have the power to see spirits at such a young age because they havn't had their perception of what reality altered. So chances are you DID see a ghost?

"Blade of the Immortal is a graphic illustration of one man's quest to become Mortal.
Manji, the main character is immortal, and the only way he can live as a mortal is to kill 1,000 evil men, to atone for the killing of 100 good men.
When I ran across this Manga sometime on the internet, years ago, I was inspired by the art style, i wanted to draw so accurately with ease. The art style of this manga is very action-esque. The "sketchy" drawing and shading style adds a nice touch of depth and the crisp line art is a perfect replica of human anatomy!
I recommend finding this Comic: Blade of the Immortal, published by Dark Horse Comics.

Does it count if I watch real moves and I read bruce lee's own books on Jeet Kune do? They're pretty effective actually. I'd rather learn Jeet Kune do than anything else.
