"Some quick tips for you.
1) the quality of images you use is really bad. Get better scans, brush them up, vector them, improve the quality!!

2) You also need to workon your extracting of images, i see a lot of artifacts.

3)Have a general idea what you want to do with your wallpaper, because i see some red circles and a negative effect. Work on that!

"Hmmm fonts do not fit with the wallpaper. In my opinion the snow flakes is just to much and to blury, it does not match with the extraction of the character. I think you need to work on the compisition of the wallpaper, because i don't see this working out soon."

"Did you make the background or did you use a pre existing source for that? The extraction of those two characters isn't to bad for your first time, although you could make those edges a bit softer. Not to sure about the background, not my thing abstract backgrounds.

"The first wallpaper, did you add some effect to the character in the background, because the edges look really chopped up. I do not know if you did that on purpose or not but it does not look that great. Also not into that negative effect look, but that is probally personal taste.

The second wallpaper, the swirl looks nice. That said, i think the extraction of the two characters (which are cleary from a manga or other black & white source) are not that well executed. It doesnt blend into the background, it just got pasted on to the swirly background and got some % fade to it. The text font doesnt look nice either, try find a better one and dont use a banner like that it just looks really out of place.

"Kill the background, you just used 1 image and tiled it for the background. That just looks weird, as a wallpaper, and the characters extractions do not have any relations with the background image in the way it is currently presented. You need to represent the entire wallaper as one whole thing. Not seperated images just stuck together.

So my advice would be kill the background and try making something with the characters you have. Good luck with your work :)"

"Do not post that stuff here, this is for wallpaper critique. Btw imo watermarks are put on for a reason, if you can't get permission to use a certain image that has a watermark on. Then you just have to find another image to use."
