I'll start working on it again, I'll try to fix all the shadows and the character, although moving the character to the center is gonna be a bit troublesome since the scan is cut on Asa's legs, I'd need to do the rest of the legs myself and im not sure if I'll be able to do that, thats why I put the character on that position like some pics I've seen. But maybe I could change the background with more water showing than sand, that way I could let all the water cover Asa's legs. Okay, I'll start working on it and post it when its done, thanks everyone!

@ Demonsbook: Thats exactly what I wanted to do haha.. I wanted the words ''A sunny day at the beach'' to look like it was drawn on the sand but at the end I could think of a way to achieve that and end up looking like a simple shadow lol I didnt think of the inner shadow effect, thanks!"

"I decided to put my almost wallpaper of Kan'u Unchou to rest for a while until I get a clearer idea of what I wanna do with that one and since I was working on a new vector I gave this one a shot for a wall.

I did a vector of this pic of Asa http://www.animepaper.net/gallery/scans/Shuffle/item162460/ and I thought a beach kind of wall would be perfect for this vector and honestly I had no experience when it comes to make this kind of backgrounds for walls, but hopefully I didnt do too bad.

I used brushes for the water and sky, textures for the sand and all the rest is vector, the ball, the palm, umbrella and that blanket.. I tried to keep everything white/orangey like the Navel colors, even made that navel pattern for the blanket under the umbrella. What else? hmm.. the Shuffle text is also a vector I used for my other wall. Probably the hardest thing to do was the water. Water really is a tricky element.. I was planning to vector the water but I failed so instead I used brushes for water. Anyways, plase have a look at my wall and let me know your ideas to make it better or what you think.. for me I would say it is ready, I cant think of anything else to add xD

"Thanks alot for all the comments! and thanks Cessa and Soft-meanie for the compliments to my vector and all the suggestions (^ ^) I agree with you all, this wall still feels a bit empty and too simple, at first I thought I could do a curtain there but I was unsure if I could be able to do that or not, but after reading your comments I gave it a try. This time I drew the rest of the bed and put a curtain there, it was my first time doing a curtain so it turned out a little not so good thou (^ ^); and I still think somethings weird about this wall but im not sure what it is.. what do you all think?

Kan'u Unchou Scan to Vector-Wall

"Okay, I'll start explaining what I wanted to do here. I was looking through the scans here and then I found this really amazing scan of Kan'u Unchou I really liked and I just wanted to make it a wall, so I thought I would just do one of those scan to wallpaper like some I've seen.

So, I vectored the pic using a different technique from my past vectors, this was my first time using gradients to vector and so here is my attempt:

Vector was made in about 2 weeks cause I recently had an injury on my wrist so I had to put my hand to rest every now and then. (^_^;;;

My Shuffle Wallpaper

"Hi there! since my other wallpaper didnt make it I thought I'd give this one a shot. I really didnt do much to that other wallpaper so its okay. Here with this one I gotta say I put alot more effort, first I vectored each one of the girls, then I drew there a few arrows like the ones showing on shuffle and vectored the shuffle text too so it would fit better than a normal text for the wall and I only used a orange/white gradient on the background adding it some patterns too with very low visibility because I thought it would fit nice like that.

I'd say its ready to submit, I cant think of anything else I could add but I'd like to hear y'all suggestions, thoughts, advices, etc. I wanna do the best I can to avoid this one to be rejected ^^;

EDIT: Improved version of the wall changing my sign from the top to the bottom, also removed the orange top and bottom bars and originally the wall was for 1024x768 but now I made it a higher resolution 1600x1200. How about it?

"Hi people of Session Zero!
I've always wanted to do a wallpaper and now after seeing all this talented wallers here on AP I feel more excited to learn. So, okay have a look at what I have so far.

First I vectorized the image and then I added a few textures and brushes but I'm not really sure if its ready to be accepted or maybe it needs more things to be added?

I didnt put any text except for the credits yet, but I was thinking to leave it textless, what do ya think?

Here are the links, two links because I made two versions which are not very different though. The only difference between each wall is around the neck area one is darker than the other.

"Hi, I have a question about uploading scans or uploading vectors to be more specific. I've been uploading some of my vectors to the gallery and no problem at all until earlier today I got one of my vectors rejected. Read the Scan rejected notification and it says:

-Uploading error.
Specifically:

But I'm not sure I understand why they gave me that link. I always read all the faqs before submitting just to make sure its not against any rule but I dont know which rule they're basing on to reject my vector, its not a recg. Its a vector I did of a screencap from the anime. At first I thought maybe it wasnt allowed to vector screencap images so I looked in the gallery and I saw some vectors made of screencaps from animes so now I dont know what it was. Could it be that my this particular vector was poor? I dont know but I hope you can tell me so I can keep that in mind next time.

I'll go by the name Hujisaki Yamato, so you may call me that, I'm 18, I just moved to a new house recently, I'm thinking it would be nice to hire a cute maid to take care of me at this new house since im all alone and all lol. I'm also interesting in art and I just signed in an art school so I can be a real artist someday and umm... when I have free time I love watching anime, reading manga and meeting cute girls.
