This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

2. Does this forum have a search function? "

I Am Psychic

"It seems he never came across as much adversity before; his bullcrap was never furiously confronted. Even his damn science teacher agreed with him! Speaking of which, I suppose it gives me a better idea what environment he grew up in. "View

Eva furiously backpedalled when confronted with it. "

"Well, not me. Someone at my forum seems to really believe he is, though. The bullcrap this Eva has spewed is so extravagant that I don't know where to begin. He seems to believe that some online multiple choice tests concluding that he's "moderately psychic" validates his claim. x.x
If you want to take a jab at this person, feel free to do so in the Psychic Abilities topic. Or, if you just want to have a headache -- I mean, enjoyable read...
So, my question is, what do you say to such a person? Another question is this: does anyone know of any argument in favor of the validity of psychic ability, telekinesis, and such that are convincing? I don't know if there are any adherents to the practice here, but if there are and they wish to respond with a contention, I ask that a valid argument be used. Being as I am skeptical, I'm one of those unreasonable people who wants sufficient evidence for something to go from keeping in mind the possibility despite how much I may doubt its existence (as per the non-dogmatic mind-set) to thinking of something as quite plausible. Thoughts on homosexuality?
3 years 2 months ago
"The legalization of homosexual unions will be as harmful to American society as giving equal rights to black people was. Homosexuality is not only a phenomenon seen among humans; it is seen among other animals as well. There is no credible evidence to suggest that homosexuality is not genetic, while there is much evidence to suggest otherwise. A recent thread at my forum called Gay Relationships includes an article later in the topic that makes news of such findings. Many assumptions are not backed by evidence, such as the notion that children raised by homosexual couples will cause such children to become homosexual? If anything, I believe that the allowance of homosexual unions will allow for a more tolerant society; children will grow up and look upon homosexual unions as a non-issue, and rightfully so. Homosexual unions and the homosexual practice itself causes no harm upon people. The only basis those against homosexuals ever have, have to do with their religion or merely their opinion (aka. "ewww"), which is not a valid argument to prohibit something in a SECULAR society such as the United States; it might be fine for a theocracy such as Iran or a closet theocracy such as Israel (though America seems to be becoming more of the same), but damn it, not in a secular nation such as America and Canada (Canada being the more mature of the two on this issue).I have an interesting article I'd like to share with you all. But before I do that, I'd like to quote something one of the members of the forum I took the article from said in regards to the article, in order to prevent any misinterpretations, I find this necessary to do beforehand.
That post was in response to a post made by someone who took the following list the wrong way:

"Hi, Firemistress. Thanks for the advice. Yes, I did look at the Samurai Champloo scans. I was unfortunate to have not found it there. Maybe fortune will be positive some time in the future in this context. "View

"Hello. Quite a lovely site and forum. I've enjoyed browsing and commenting in the gallery.Anyways, is there a place to request a certain scan? I'm looking for an image from episode 11 of Samurai Champloo, the part where Shino/"Kohana" is on the boat, she's pushed away by the scabbard (or was it something else?) of Jin's sword, and she runs up to him extending her arm, but it's too late. If anyone has that image, I would very much appreciate it if that person can provide it for me. "

Could you live without your comp?
3 years 2 months ago
"The comp means as much to me as do my books, and my books are my life. There are other things to do in my free time, of course, and I do do other things, but, without my computer, I wouldn't be able to read the countless articles, browse the boards, view the wallpaper, download and listen to music, et cetera. x.x"View
