"No I don't only because there aren't many others that I know around me who are Otaku. When I ask people if they like anime, they're like "Yeah I like watching Naruto, Inuyasha, Death Note..." That's cool and all but still not enough."

i agree, if you're a fan of FF then FFVi is a must because it's the one that deviated the most giving new features that started evolution in FF universe.. FFX was better to stand alone even without X-2, that sequel didn't give much boost except for the ending

I agree with you as well on FFX-2. That game has almost no redeeming qualities which is a shame compared to it's predecessor. If there are any FF fans that didn't like FF8 yet liked FFX-2, then they clearly have an issue. FF8 is not a bad game and every other Final Fantasy (except FFX-2) has its own distinct qualities that you can love. I can only hope that FF13 will do a good job of evolving the series and not focus so much on the flashy gameplay and graphics that everyone see's in the trailers."

"I enjoyed FF8 very much despite statements of it being a mediocre or bad FF game. I've played most of the others except for FF9 and FF11 and so far I still think FF8 is above that of FFX-2 which was absolutely terrible seeing how FF10 was actually good. I know there are alot of people who really dislike this game and those who loved it like I did are few and far apart but really it's all a matter of opinion. I say give it a try and see if you like it yourself and if you don't then you can at least say you played it."

You can be as ignorant as you want believing in something true to you and absurd to everyone else. Happiness is also what you make of it. You could live in a box and be content with that. Going with the majority here, it's gotta be FF8's Ragnarok for me. Plus, the music when you get on was awesome (forgot the name).

"Eyes on me" was the theme played when you see Squall and Rinoa in the cockpit and yeah, it was awesome."

"The one manga that has always had my attention is Megatokyo. I keep up to date with the web comic and I have the four manga's that were published in the U.S. To me, it's just interesting and funny seeing the character developement in Piro and Largo as they're stranded in Japan. Fred Gallagher and Rodney Caston are brilliant for coming up with this."

"I have a M.U.G.E.N game that I started myself. I only have about 200 chars or so but it's not like I play with em all anyway. I bought a PS2 to USB controller hub and I mapped the second controller so that I can play two players with my friends. The game itself is not in anyway hard to create at all. Mainly making a character is the most difficult part in Mugen if you have time, patience, and imagination. There are characters in mugen however that you will not find in any other 2D fighting game and it's interest to watch someone like Saber From F/S and fight Evil Ken."

Jackie Chan Vs. Jet Li

"You guys know that Jackie Chan actually doesn't have a fighting style right. He learned his movements while doing Chinese Opera. During films he basically just does what the choreographer tells him. Jet Li however, has actually takin a style or styles actually of martial arts. Particulary styles in Chinese Kung-fu like Wu Shu which is one of Jet Li's styles. With all that said, Jet Li is definitely the better fighter, or at least on screen he appears to be."

"Hmm, my question got me thinking, so I went around my room and calculated all the anime I have purchased and I was completely shocked. I spent around $1532 on just the DVD's. Then I went and added all the merchandise I have: PVC Figures, Wallscrolls, Pillows, T-shirts, and manga and it came out to roughly $744. Altogether I've spent an estimated $2276 on Anime and Anime Stuff in general. If you haven't, you should add up all the anime and anime things you own and find out for yourself how much you've really spent."

Games like SNKvsCapom, MarvelvsCapcom, GuiltyGear, and the best out of all 2d fighter games... M.U.G.E.N. Why? Because in Mugen you can have matches between someone like Ryu vs Sadako from the ring, or Goku vs Evil Ken. "

Spending $ on Anime

"Downloading anime or watching anime on websites is cool and all, plus you get too watch new anime that haven't been licensed yet. However, I usually like my anime in DVD form with a nice case and cover. Or even really nice boxsets that can run $100+. Wallscolls and pvc figures are a must for me and subscriptions to magazines like Newtype and Megami have burned holes in my pockets. All together, I've spent about $700 with all the stuff I own. I'm curious about everyone else though."
