By the by, I thought when you got bitten by a snake you were supposed to keep the wound above the heart?

A common misconception. Quite logical once you think about it.

Really..? why?i have no idea what your supposed to do if your bitten by a snake, except run to a hopital..and quickly =p

That is NOT a good idea. If you have poison in your veins you should NEVER do anything like running to get your blood pumping harder. Just get away from whatever bit you, and stay calm. If there is someone around, then yell at them to get you help (and a ride) and sit down with the bitten area below your heart. Put pressure on the area with a rag or a piece of cloth (so you don't have to keep squeezing, which will increase your heart-rate) to slow the blood flow, but unless you're desperate, don't use a turnakit because using one of those for too long guarintees an amputation.

If you're alone, then make a phone call if you can, then move at a normal pace after putting pressure on the area with a cloth of some kind.

I used to know a guy who lost his hand, but I never did find out how it happened.

There was this math teacher I know of who lost an eye when he was little because he was swimming under a dock where people where fishing. One of the fishermen reeled in his eye and freaked out while he came screaming out of the water. Ouchie.

I have scars under each eyebrow. One came from a bucket full of sand being thrown at me and the edge of the bucket hitting me right above the eye. I saw it coming because someone in that direction yelled my name and I turned into it (but I did get my eyes closed, so I'm not blind now ^_^), but I ended up swallowing a bunch of sand and throwing up, too. The other scar is from being hit in the face with a NERF bat. It had a foam coating, but the hard plastic core had a lip on the edge to keep the foam from sliding off and that lip gouged my face and I was knocked out for a few seconds. That one needed stitches.
