This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

Popularity in High School
2 years 3 months ago
"Popularity in high school is a joke. There's really no point to it whatsoever, only to make the rich and/or preps feel like they're better than everyone else. For some reason, kids get themselves into this hierarchy, wherever they may wish to be, and they put a lot of emphasis on it. However, who's going to care in 20 years where they were on the chart? Who you are at 16, 17 years doesn't matter when you leave high school. So, I don't care that much about popularity. Then again, this is coming from a guy who goes to an extremely small school, where we don't have too much contrast between the groups, so, you may want to factor that in with my opinion."View
White trash and Hicks?
2 years 3 months ago
"They don't just have white trash and hicks in the South! We've got quite a few of them in Northeastern Ohio- trust me, I see a lot of them everyday. Of course, most plan to move to the South whenever they can afford it (which is not likely to happen)."View
Kingdom Hearts an Anime
2 years 3 months ago
"If they were to make an anime of Kingdom Hearts, I'd watch it. However, I wonder if I would be impressed by it. It would be really difficult to make the anime exciting, since we all already know what happens. (Sora winning is the key). We know every step of the journey he takes from the games, and I'd rather they not waste any new worlds on an anime- save that for the next game."View
Allergies

"Lucky you- at least you only get them at certain times of the year. I have them constantly, all-year round. I do have to admit, though, that I have really bad allergy problems in the Spring. Of course, I'm deathly allergic to dust, pollens, grass, and cats, and the worst time for that is Spring. But I do have to deal with cats all the time..."View
What u think about world cup?(Football)
2 years 3 months ago
"Well, I don't know much about soccer/football (whichever you call it). So, I'm going to have to go with the FIFA World Rankings, past experiences, and from what everyone's saying here. Brazil and Argentia have to be favorites because of recent success and how rich Latin America is with talent. England's always been a powerhouse, although they haven't won the cup in years (all the more want to win). Mexico's got a lot to live up to, and they got a chip on their shoulder coming from the neighbors to the north. The USA has it's highest ranking ever (#4), and they've been sky-rocketing ever since 2002 when they surprised the world. And you can't forget the home country of Germany. I've always believed that a team playing at home has a bit more drive to win. I'm pretty sure those are all the favorites, but from there, I have no idea. All I have to say is GO USA!"View
Your thoughts on the gas shortage/gas prices...
2 years 3 months ago
"I agree with pjs- There's no way that the US (or any country, for that matter) could boycott oil. We are too dependent on it. The oil companies know this, so they gouge the prices. (Supply-Demand really does suck). I don't think that the oil reserves will be touched for now, since we're not exactly in a crisis. (If gas prices rise to about $4-5 a gallon, then they might have to). The best thing we (the people) ccan do now is hold out for as long as we can. Eventually, hybrid cars will come down in price, and consumers will finally be able to buy them. That would help out a lot, even if it's a bit idealistic. (The price of hybrid cars probably went up since so many people want them now). Either way, we need to get gas prices down in order to make other things cheaper. Gas affects us in more ways than one, and that's not good."View
Unforgetable moments at your school live
2 years 5 months ago
"Last year, after my class finished reading The Great Gatsby, we decided to have mafia trials. I became the prosecuting attourney. The first two days weren't the greatest for me because I was missing my key witness. The third day was a day for surprise witnesses. The defense bought in three of those witnesses, and I totally destroyed them. I was on the verge of victory when all of the sudden, the door burst open. The girls (since the defendant and the defense attourney were girls) had plotted to overthrow the court. Unfortunately for me, they decided to get a little revenge. Their "sentence" was to make me wear a dress on our school news-thing and dance in front of the whole school. Well, I asked the teacher if I really had to do it, and she said that I could appeal to our original judge, who had been absent that day. When the judge heard that I was appealing to him, he decided that I was to ask a senior girl out on a date on the school news. Well, I went in and did it, and ever since I've been a semi-hero in the school. (At least they quote me from time to time anyway.)"View
KIRBY PUCKETT RIP

"I was too young to remember him, but I know that I had a baseball glove that he endorsed. So, he must have been a good player. I don't know about the many things that happened to him after baseball; it was terrible how his life fell apart after retiring. So, Kirby Puckett, may you rest in peace."View

Harry Potter banned?!
2 years 5 months ago
"Well then, if Harry Potter should be banned because it promotes witchcraft, then we should remove any book that promotes Christanity, Islam, Judaism, and any other religion that the U.S. Supreme Court and military recognizes. That's the stupidest bullcrap that I've ever heard of in my entire life. In my mind, those people need to be shot- can't they tell that the book is fiction? (For those you don't know, not real). I mean, can't the uptight morons understand that the series is not about witchcraft? There are many underlying meanings that J.K. Rowling puts in the novels, like the connections to Nazis and terrorists. (Please tell me that I'm not the only one who sees that?) Also, there is the morals that are predominate- loyalty, courage, and the good inside of all of us. It's terrible of the fact that people are too narrow-minded to see that."View

Your Love Stories...

"Wow. Now I know why I can't get a girl- I gotta be the most unromantic man there ever was. Reading these posts have been depressing and educational at the same time. It's depressing bacuse I think of all the times I've had girls right where I wanted them, but failed to make a move in the end. However, these stories may help me finally do the right things at the right time. Just thought I'd let you all know that every story has been great- each one as romantic as the next."View

"Everyone loves the Fairly Oddparents- how can you not? I also Danny Phantom, probably because I like stuff about the "Ghost World" or whatever you call it. Another one of my favorites is Avatar- the characters' personalities fit together so well, and I like how it's stupidly funny. I sort of like Jimmy Neutron, but not as much as the others. And I remember the old days with Keenan and Kel (good show), All That (now it's turned to crap), and Hey Arnold. I wonder what did happen to those shows..."View
fallin in love in/with a teacher???
2 years 5 months ago
"Um... well, I guess that one can't really mess with love. However, I wouldn't be too thrilled with it if I was the principal, for it causes a lot of questions from parents. I mean, no matter the age difference, it would still be awkward, especially if the teacher has that student in class. That could be bad for both ends. So, I guess that's all I have to say about that..."View
Oh noes! Wheres the freedom of speech?
2 years 5 months ago
"Okay, firstly, that guy is a moron for denying the fact that the Holocaust is real. There's no other explaination of how 12 million people went missing, some 6 million Jews, the photographs of the concentration camps, and the fact that a lot of them are still standing (unoperational). So, that guy needs to face the facts. However, I do believe that lock him up in jail for 3 years is a little harsh. I don't care what country it is or what their feelings are towards something (that law should be abolished-it's the biggest load of crap I've ever heard of), the freedom of speech is the most important part of democracy (minus the right to vote). That's my take on it."View
Mean Bus Drivers :(
2 years 5 months ago
"I was lucky my entire life. From kindergarten through second grade, my dad drove me to school. After that I had to ride the bus, and I had extremely nice and cool bus drivers. The last one I had let a friend of mine bring a boom-box on the bus and blare it- at 6 something in the morning. We'd listen to hard rock, country, and, our favorite, Larry the Cable Guy. We could get away with anything on that bus. Well, I guess that there's also bus drivers who are complete and total jerks, too. It's like that with everything in life."View
