What would you do If someone delete your anime colletction or destroy your DVD's

Has an anime ever made you cry?

"Eh, just finished E7, and I must say, I almost made me burst in tears. But that's just almost. I got some difficulties understanding the overall ending scene, so yeah, that took much of my mind compared to the emo impact. LOL.
Anyways, the only anime that 'succeeded' in making me cry was Automatic Maiden Mahoromatic, which is my all-time top favorite anime. Watch the 2nd season ending, and you'll see why."

"1. Noticed the strange blobs of colors in the characters' image? That's called JPEG artifacts, which is caused by either low-resolution scan or high image compression rate. Although the image is properly extracted, the background is too much basic. It looks as if the characters were floating in somewhere... and there's no 'visual treat' to the entire scene. There's no interesting points other than the characters themselves. Try adding patterns, shapes, and other combinations as a background.

2. The concept/idea is good, it looks like Daisuke's reading a book in a couch, and behind him is a wall filled with picture frames. But it's poorly executed.
The filter's ruining the entire scene. Instead of giving texture to the wall only, it gives off a chaotic textured look to the entire wall, which is not a good filter usage. Try to find tutorials on good layering techniques and how to effectively use filters to specific layers and their blending modes.
And Daisuke is very badly extracted. Avoid using magic wand as extraction tool, and start learning how to properly extract images using other means, such as pen tool.

3. The scan is not a good image to start making a wall with. Unless you're thinking to expand his blanket and the entire room scene, I suggest you try to find another scan."

"From my ava, you can tell I'm a big Fafner fan. Tho, I doubt it that a sequel would do this title any justice, because the story ends -there-. Not much to expect from a sequel -if any-, because the main intriguing, and most interesting part of Fafner is to guess how the story -would- progress after the ending of the TV series.
But that's just me being one way and around...
overall, I really love this anime,... I think it's kinda overlooked by most mecha fan because most of them said 'It has GSD characters in it, whoa~ cheesy!' ... blah, if only the character design had not been made by Hisashi Hirai, Fafner would definitely not be as good as it is now!! >_<
The effects are very cool, with many dynamic camera shots, and the story is appealing.
Mecha fans out there : You'll regret it if you haven't seen Fafner!"

By the way, anyone knows that the new opening sequence really looks like a scene from a Gundam series?
I find it disturbingly similiar, and the cut scenes and all, it is all just like Gundam...?
Someone even made a fan video of them, by mixing the gundam opening theme with the current new opening of Mai Otome, and it mixes just right too.

"Erm.. okay this is what I think.
The image is too far to the left. It disturbs the whole proportion of the wallpaper as an 'anime' wallpaper. But as an abstract wallpaper, it's fine.
The abstract is kinda focused on the dark turbulence-like abstract on the left-center part of the wall. It's like a black hole which distracts viewer's eye from the characters. It might be better to use a different abstract style or to remove that darkmost part at all.
And lastly, the colors are somewhat not matching well. Use a light-brownish color for the abstract to match the scan better, or make it more desaturated to make it more neutral.
