"I've seen the entire anime, and I've completely fallen in love with it. At first it seemed like a shoujo paredy made specifically for fangirls, especially yaoi fangirls, but by the end of the series I was glued to the screen and had fallen in love with every character.

The ending is my favorite anime ending ever.

I tried reading the manga afterward, but the characters looked to diffenrent and the story line didn't seem to differ much from the anime.

"I've been trying to get my mom into anime for a while now, but I haven't been having much luck. However, she fences, and I'm pretty sure I could get her to watch an anime about fencing. I haven't seen the movie or the entire series, though, and I was wondering if it's a good anime to start on. She won't have a problem with shoujo-ai, but I've heard rumors that the movie is kind of weird, and I'd like to know if it's confusing and if it's parent-safe.

"My first anime was Sailor Moon, like so many other girls. The one that really got me into anime was Trigun, I believe. I know it was the first anime I saw in its entirety. My first manga was Saint Tail, which still remains as my favorite magical girl series."

Pets?

"I have two dogs. One's a grumpy old beagle who does nothing but sleep all day. His name's Snoopy and I love him to bits. We've had him for twelve years. He used to get into so much trouble, but he's really slowed down due to his age. He still has the beagle howl, though. I love it when we're out on a walk and he just throws back his head and lets loose.

My other dog is a shiba inu/sheltie mix named Zoe. She's a young dog and quite playful and cuddly. She loves squeaky toys with really high-pitched squeaks and having her belly rubbed. She's also really attached to me. Wherever I am, she is. When I'm at school, she'll sit outside my door and whine because she's convinced that I'm hiding in there."

"I have a brother who's four years older than me and a sister who's six years older. I get along well with both of them most of the time. My sister and I are a lot alike, but she can be a real bitch when she's upset. My brother and I don't talk a lot, but we do some things together and are really close physically."

"Mostly I got books and the means to buy books. I also got a new iPod battery and a stuffed dog with a really soft fleece blanket. I can never have enough blankets and pillows; I've already got four comforters, and I use them all."

"I've done some fencing. I've only learned foil, and I haven't picked up my blade in a while. I don't like competition and I always fence badly when I fence electric. I've found a group that focuses more on the form of fencing, rather than gearing up for competitions, so I've gotten interested again. I probably won't join until summer, though. I never have enough time."

Animal Powers

"Having wings and being able to fly with them would be amazing. Really, who hasn't wished they could fly (besides people who are scared of heights). However, if we were talking realistically, then wings would not be a blessing. You'd either have to live in seclusion for the rest of you're life, cut them off, or be experimented on.

Hypersensitive senses seem pretty cool, but they would probably make me miserable. Can you imagine having a headache, and then listening to bells all day at school or your siblings' really loud music in the car when you have hypersensitive ears? Shudder.

"Having a universal language would be much more practical, but I think that children should be taught two languages. That way, people can still communicate worldwide, but all the different languages of the world aren't being left out. Each language reflects the culture of its country, and even shape how people think. Bilinguals may even reveal two different personalities when taking the same personality test in two different languages. By wipping out laguages, we wipe out not only cultre, but different ways of thinking."

"I like guys who don't get weirded out when I say something unexpected. (I'm seen as the quiet innocent one, so I really startle my friends sometimes with some of my comments.) I also like guys I can have an intelligent conversation with, and since I'm in high school, I'm very excited when I meet a guy who does not constantly have sex on his mind. Maturity is definitely one of the first things I look for in a guy."

I love the characters, but if you get bored easily, you might not like it. I would suggest trying the manga, though. I don't think it differs that much from the anime, but the ones I've read have all been pretty interesting. And while the fights tend to increase as it goes, they're not too boring, as far as fight scenes go."

Sasuke out for too long

One of the best things about Naruto is the character development. They have insights to so many characters, and on quite a few they show how they grow and mature. They have done so much on Sasuke that they need to focus on other characters to even things out. I'm sure that when he does return, there will be a ton of character analysis.

I'm really anxious to see him though. I love the interaction between him and Naruto. I love complex relationships, and their amazing fights just keep getting better."

The Plan of Salvation and Christianity 2

Christianity should not be taken literally. No religion should. I don't believe you have to be baptized to get into heaven. I believe people should not focus so much on the details of organized religion, but on the ideals the organized religion preach. Christianity is about love, mercy, peace, understanding and humility. I believe all religions teach these ideals.

Christianity also asks for you to love and worship good before all else. Now, this I'm not so sure about. I've never been too comfortable with the idea of a prideful and selfish God. And also, I tend to favor viewing God as the Holy Spirit, rather than the preferred God the Father, or in second place, God the Son. But I believe that one's relationship with God is a personal matter, and others should not try to push someone to see things one way or another.

The Death Penalty

I think it should be abolished.

1) The justice system is prejudiced, sometimes corrupt and often simply wrong. Many sentenced to the death penalty are innocent, and even for those that aren't, justice in not blind.

2) To kill a killer is hypocritical. I don't care how you justify it, killing is wrong!

3) Human life is losing its value. Death is becoming statistics to us; life is something that can be thrown away without a blink of an eye. Everyone needs to start valuing life more, and the death penalty is detrimental to that."

I love mythology. I found great copies of The Illiad and The Oddessey last summer. I find reading those a lot more interesting than reading books about greek mythology, but their pretty lengthy and don't have as much information about the gods and goddesses."

Does your library have manga and anime?

"My public library has a good amount. I've been requesting them to buy others, such as Chobits and Wish (you gotta have CLAMP), but it takes so long to get them, so I don't bother requesting the ones I want to read right away. My school library doesn't have any, but my old middle school started getting some my freshman year. Awful timing."
