And Ulquiorra... damn, I couldn't scream because it was 3 am, so I ran to the roof and cried and screamed. New Arc....

"I have to disagree. There's a golden rule that Bleach animators have followed so far, and that is "never reveal any new power before its debut in the manga". When Rukia appeared during the Bount arc, her shikai had already been revealed in the manga, I think, but they didn't show it before its real debut (when she fought Di Roy and Grimmjow). I think that's the reason for Zaraki being missing, his zanpakuto is a complete mistery, even in the manga. So that's why he can't be Yoruichi's zanpakuto.
About this arc, I think the best spirits are Wabisuke, Sode no Shirayuki and Sogyo no Kotowari. Once I saw then, I thought "They couldn't have been any other way!!" Sogyo no Kotowari is/are so cute! Minazuki intrigues me, and I'm disappointed by Senbonzakura. I wanted a beautiful miko-girl!! I hope that he at least takes off his mask and reveals a handsome guy. Ruri'iro Kujaku is really amazing looks-wise, he really reflects Yumichika's personality, just with his "full-of-himself" smile. I didn't like Suzumebachi. The concept is perfect, a small insect-size girl with gold and black clothes, but she could've been prettier, more like Soifon. I like Kazeshini, he'll fill up for half Zaraki, I hope. Katen Kyokotsu is really cool and I never expected her to look like that. Tobiume is really nice, though I've never been too fond of Momo, and her bells are awesome. Zabimaru being a girl puzzles me, I hope they clear it out on ep 234 that's supposed to be called "Renji's confusion! The two Zabimarus". Tenken... well, it was to be expected and I really don't like Komamura that much. Hozukimaru surprised me, I had though of some sort of badass-looking samurai, but that one isn't as bad. What can I say of Gegetsuburi and Gonryomaru? The latter was very unexpected, seeing that Sasakibe loves Western culture, but other than that I have nothing to say. Haineko's look couldn't have been different (maybe gray fur representing the "Ash"?), but she's too bitchy for my liking. Hyorinmaru looks cool, but maybe more dragon-ish atributes would've been better. I think those were all...?
About the latest episode
I'm expecting a lot from this arc. I think Ichigo's acting a bit stupid. Before rushing into a realm where the zanpakuto are set free and turn against their shinigamis, he should've talked to Zangetsu about it, make sure about their relationship and that sort. We all saw the Preview for next episode, Zangetsu is apparently going to turn against Ichigo (if the episode title "Zangetsu becomes an enemy" gives off any clue...) What I'm really looking forward is to seeing Byakuya really confron Senbonzakura, Hisagi vs Kazeshini, and Ukitake vs Sogyo no Kotowari. "

"The overall quality is really low, and that's a bad thing to begin with.Now, I don't know if it's my screen, but rather than B/W it looks like Brown/White, and a particularly ugly and unmatching brown.
It's way too simple, I see no concept here. Maybe it's just me, but this scan has been used way too many times for that same concept, so this is no novelty.
You should try with textures and adding some text, maybe brushes? change de positions, do something so that this doesn't look like that old Black Stones scan that we've seen over a million times in a thousand different walls and looking all the same in all of them."

"Hisagi is an amazing character and he definitely deserves more screentime.Though I can't really say that his zanpakuto is wind-type just because of it's name. Or do we call Ichigo's Zangetsu a Moon-type zanpakuto?
Either way, I expect two things for Hisagi. First one is that he meets Kensei and Mashiro. I'm sure Shuuhei holds Kensei almost as a paternal figure and I'd love to see both of their reactions when they meet again (Mashiro's I kinda guess she'll be all jumpy as always)
The second thing is that he eventually becomes captain of Ninth Division. I think that his tattoo and his zanpakuto's name are kind of hints that his fate is to "inherit" the captaincy (further supporting my father-son relationship theory).
I also think that there's a lot of him that we don't know yet and that his full powers haven't been revealed. A very thanked bonus would be to know he has a Bankai, but that's not likely to happen anytime soon.
And I liked the fight in the anime because the colors were very vivid, but some scenes had not-so-good drawing and I think Kazeshini looked better in the manga."

"With the latest chapters, and especially Harribel's almost inevitable defeat against Hitsugaya, I came up with two theories:1. Kubo forgot that she was ranked 3 and that she was sweeping the floor with Hitsugaya BEFORE releasing her sword. And he also forgot that Hitsugaya could barely handle one of Grimmjow's Fraccion, who weren't particularly strong (yeah, I know he had the limiter, but still, it shouldn't have been so hard)
2. Kubo just wants to end this Espada fights soon by reusing old techniques disguised as new ones (like the Hyoten Hyakkaso. I can't be the only one that noticed how it was almost identical to Ruri'iro Kujaku). Probably he's planning on something big and wants to get to it as soon as possible.
I agree with everyone above. Stating who is stronger and who is weaker is a hard thing to do. Uryuu defeated Mayuri and almost killed him, but he couldn't handle Szayel, whilst Kurotsuchi defeated the Espada with relative ease. Ichigo fought on par with Kenpachi, even before getting Bankai and Hollow, but Grimmjow swept the floor with him AFTER getting his Bankai and a bit of his Hollow powers, while Kenpachi defeated Nnoitra even without getting any power-up.
The power levels are not only about ranks or that stuff, but of the kind of fight. For example, maybe Kenpachi wouldn't have been able to defeat Szayel, and probably Mayuri would've lost against Nnoitra, because of their fighting styles. But it's hard to tell. I'm guessing it's the same thing here."

But I think it's too soon to assume that Halibel is weaker than Ulquiorra. She is 3 after all, but we aren't sure if Aizen new of Ulquiorra's Segunda Etapa when he ranked the Espada. And I think that Halibel has proved she's pretty strong, though I think she gave away most of her attacks too quickly."

"The resolution is too low. I would suggest making it bigger.Now, about the wall, the black frame does nothing good there, better get rid of it.
Green is not Hirako's color, but that's more personal, surely you can make it work.
The main problem is that the manga-type picture style contrasts to the digital textures and it doesn't look good. Why not try to vector it? It would help a lot to the whole idea.
Your signature is too big and draws too much attention towards it. Make it smaller, it's not supposed to be an outstanding element in the wall."

"If you do, then why call it a "filler"? I too read the manga AND watch the anime, and the Amagai arc ended long ago. Since episode 190, we're back to Hueco Mundo. Actually, the anime has reached Fake Karakura recently. But anyway, I was just pointing out that you called TBtP "a filler about the vizards" and that's what ticked me off.
And for the record, I never said Isshin was included in TBtP, we know nothing of his whereabouts since he kicked Grand Fisher's ass."

" Third RevisionYet a third revision. This time, I worked more on what I thought could be fixed, for a I received little to no feedback on the past revision (except for Tens-sama who gave me some advise on perspective and sword position, thanks!)
The feedback I received last time confused me to no end. While someone said the text was too attention-drawing, someone else said that it didn't stand out at all. So I didn't know what to do about it. I made it bigger, repositioned it, and lowered the opacity on the glow.
I fixed Ichigo's clothes, for they seemed too straight last time (like, all the ragged edges ended at the same height, I don't know if you know what I mean).
Alternate Third Revision
This one's an alternate version I thought of. I kind of like how it looks, though I know I need to work on Rukia's ribbon, 'coz it doesn't look really smooth an' nice as it should, but I want to know if it's a good idea overall, or if I should stick to the third revision.

"The Turn back the Pendulum mini arc was NOT a filler. Do not ever DARE to say such a thing. It is originally in the manga, and all that was shown there is loyal to the original story (except some parts like Urahara training with Yoruichi and Hiyori finding an all classmate in the Maggot's nest). So please, don't compare godly TBtP to Bounts or Amagai. It's almost insulting."

" 2nd RevisionThanks for the advice, I redrew Rukia's hand again, because it seemed odd to me too, and I think it looks better now. I also moved the text and made the characters smaller. I vectored it from here, for I found out I'm a total mess with redrawing and perspectives, at least in vectoring. I need to get some practice on that.
About making them solid, I'm still thinking of it, I kinda like it smudged, but I might give it a try on the next revision.
I also took your suggestion of outlining the ribbon. I would've liked to give it a similar effect like the one on Ichigo's chain, but the ribbon didn't go over her clothes. Still, I made it a little longer.
I just noticed Ichigo's clothes are too... straight. I'll fix that one later too. I just want to know if the few changes I did do some good."

"Let's just wait for whatever Kubo has in store for us. He's apparently saving the fight against Yammy for the end (which really sucks, I'd better have it end fast; the sooner, the better).And let's pray that this Espada 0 thing is just something Kubo came up while being really drunk, and that he'll take it back as soon as possible.
And, personally, I hope that Renji finally gets a chance for a good fight, I think he's an awesome character and that Kubo's been a real dick with poor Renji. I mean, come on! That fight against Szayel was simply not fair."

"I like the general concept for the wall, and I think Halibel's released state is amazing! She looks really gorgeous.The background is nice, but you could try adding some "blue" to the whole wall, because the chapter where she released was called Azul (Blue)-Blood Splash and one of her techniques is Proyectil Azul (Blue).
I also feel like she could use some more shading on her hair and armor.
The font is not the best, if you ask me. I'd use something a bit more like cursive but bloody.
Lastly, the overall vectoring is really good, but the face needs improvement. Compared to the original scan, her face here looks square, and she looks more like a pouting girl than an angry warrior. I know that vectoring from manga scans is a real pain, but try to improve it a bit so that you can show the world how beautiful she is. Good luck!"

My First Wallpaper-Renji and Byakuya

"Unfortunately, and contrary to your description, what draws my attention immediately is the bad quality of the whole image.The main scan of Byakuya and Renji looks like it was resized from a very small source, so it looks pixelated. The
The background isn't working either. Red definitely doesn't fit there, and the dots make no sense at all. Your signature should be smaller, and it too looks blurry, as if it had been resized.
I kind of see what you're aiming for, but you need to browse the gallery or the internet in general, because the scans you chose don't fit to what you're trying to say with your work. That IchiRukia scan has already been used too many times (that's more of a personal opinion, I'm growing bored of it), and they don't look like a happy couple that's in love with each other. Their smiles talk of an on-coming battle, and determination, not love or happiness. And you're trying to show how Renji is being left behind, yet he's smiling on the wall, and sitting just behind Byakuya. You should add more distance between them, and make Renji look sad, so that it really looks like everyone is leaving and forgetting about Renji.
And well, this is more like a personal comment, but the way you "described" the wallpaper and what you were aiming for... well it sounded kind of arrogant and smug to me, and it was a bit... annoying/irritating, I just can't find the word to explain it. Just a personal comment, though, don't take it personal."

" Fade to BlackThis one came from yet another attack from the damned plot bunnies (yet, they're not really plot bunnies but wall bunnies, mah, whatever) And just like all of my plot-bunny-produced wallpapers, I'm stuck and have no idea of what to do with this.

All of it was vectored by me. It's my first attempt at "redrawing" and I found that I suck. But I like what I did with Ichigo's robes.
Actually I had thought of making this wallpaper since that scan from the movie was released, but I just downloaded it recently.
I want to somehow "fade" one Ichigo and one Rukia, but I'm not sure of which one, and how to fade them. I also feel like I could rid of one of the pairs, but if I erase the big ones then the whole point would be lost, and without the small ones, it looks empty.
Any criticism and suggestion will be appreciated "

How does you family feel about Anime?

"My family and anime? Well, I'll have to say that's a curious case.Well, anime called for me since I was little. Sailor Moon and Magic Knight Rayearth were broadcasted by a national television company, and I remember how I wanted to watch them so badly! But my mom said they were too violent and forbade me from watching any of them.
When Cartoon Network brought Card Captor Sakura, mom would allow me to watch TWO anime series: Yu-gi-oh and CCS (I had to give up Digimon Tamers for Yugioh!) though she strongly disapproved of it, with the same thing about all of it being violence or cute girls being pretty and acting like princesses. Then, the episode in which Sakura fought Yue was going to be aired some day that I had late afternoon classes, but mom fetched me earlier from school so I could watch it. That was odd.
After that, I got disconnected from Japan, for my family could no longer afford any sort of cable TV.
Then, around a while ago, I had this friend that came out to be an really freak otaku. And he brought Japan back to me lending me his mangas. He's still my main manga and anime source, actually. It was around that time that mom just gave up and let me be.
Later I discovered that my older brothers were also anime and manga followers, and so, they started lending me more gore kind of mangas like Evangelion and X. Up to date, they keep lending me mangas and animes like Gantz, Hellsing, Ergo Proxy, Heroic Age, and that sort. And I induced them to watch Bleach and D Gray Man (and laugh at them 'coz they're not up to date with the manga or the anime)
Unwatedly, I induced my little sister to anime. Yes, unwatedly, for, as much as I love to make people find out how awesome anime and manga is, I hate that she gets her nose into whatever I'm doing. Anime is like my personal world, a place where I find some sort of intimacy, and when she started to sneak up on it, I hated it. Especially since my mom now scolds me every time I refuse to lend my sister some of my manga (because she's so careless! She almost broke one of my Fruits Basket!), or forbid her from watching an anime series claiming that "she's too young for it". I just feel it's unfair! Mom didn't let me get even close to Ojamajo Doremi when I was my sister's age, and now I should let her watch Hellsing?
Overall, the strangest of all is my mother. She strongly disapproves of my obsession with anime, and scolds me every time I come back from a Comic-Con with empty pockets and full hands. Yet, she doesn't stop me from watching anime or reading manga (though I still try not to watch anything when she's around, especially when it's something like Gantz). She still insists that anime is just porn and violence. The only interest she has shown for any anime series was when I was re-watching Bleach SS arc and she saw Yoruichi in her cat form (mom loves cats) and got a bit freaked out when the cat spoke.
And I forgot to mention my father. He really doesn't care that much. It was actually him who bought me my first manga collections (Card Captor Sakura, Clover, Chobits and Fruits Basket) and my first anime series (Saint Seiya, xxxHolic, Tsubasa Chronicles and Inuyasha) though it was obviously because I specifically asked for them.
So, tu sum up: Mom hates, dad doesn't give damn, brothers encourage, and little sister's just a meddlesome midget."

"Well we're all expecting those characters to show up again, but all we know is that:1.Urahara and the Vizards are in one of the Karakura's, I'm not quite sure which one of them
2.Unohana, Kenpachi, Kurotsuchi and Byakuya are trapped in Hueco Mundo.
3.Nel, Pesche and Dondochakka are... somewhere... in Hueco Mundo. Nel and Grimmjow might me recovering from their injuries, maybe Unohana is healing them (she healed Gantenbaine Mosqueda after all)
Now a question of my own: Where are Isshin and Ryuuken? They have at least some reiatsu, so they most likely didn't fall under the sleeping spell that was cast over the whole town.
Next: What happened to Ikkaku and Yumichika. Last we knew about Ikkaku was that he got his ass kicked by Poww, and Yumichika was knocked down by Kira, but none of them was under the healing/protection thingy that was covering Kira, Iba, Matsumoto, Hinamori and Hisagi. So, where are they? Maybe Tite Kubo forgot to draw them XD."

"I've seen all of your wallpapers. All of them. And I had resisted the urge to critique because I knew I wouldn't be able to hold back all of the harshness that came to my mind when looking at them. But your comments have really come to annoy me.If you're asking for critique, you should accept whatever of it may come. Otherwise, you will never see any improvement.
Since your first wall, many people have been giving you different kinds of advise to help you improve your wallpapers. Yet, you never ever seem to listen to them.
The scan quality is always terrible. The background never merges with the characters. And you don't seem to care because you never change that. There's not gonna be any improvement, let alone any chance for your walls to be on the main gallery, if you don't change the basic mistakes.
Now on this specific wall, the first thing I can tell you is that the Soul and Black Star scan on the corner, the smaller one, is of terrible quality, and even if it wasn't the wall would look much better without it.
Your signature is way too big, and the font looks of LQ, I suggest you change that. The text doesn't merge with the background either
There is an overuse of filters and the only thing of the background that makes some sense are the arrows, which look terrible due to the filter thing.
There is a lot of improvement to be done on this wallpaper, and I'm almost sure that, if you're so closed up to doing major changes, there won't be that improvement. I suggest you one simple thing: Listen to what people says. You have, so far, seemingly ignored all the comments and advise you've received. People on SZ give you this kind of advises because they want you to improve, because we all love to see a good wallpaper on the galleries."

Espada number 0... Opinion please!

"I agree with you, after the Lust-Ash events and this Yammy thing I seriously thought of dropping Bleach. I decided against it because I love the characters too much. But seriously, of all plot twists, this is the dumbest I've ever seen. Not even CLAMP evil-guy-wasn't-really-evil-and-good-guy's-the-real-enemy were like this (actually, those made a little sense at least).
I mean, we have seen amazing characters: Ulquiorra, Grimmjow and Nnoitra, even Szayel was awesome in his own very, very creepy way, and now he comes up with the sh*t that this brute, absolutely absurd character will be stronger than them all? I refuse to believe it. Feels like Kubo spat on our faces with this.
Besides, he can't be the strongest. Supposedly, the more human-like they look, the more powerful they are. And so, we saw Aaroniero turning into a tentacle mass, or Zommari becoming a silly pumpkin, and they were not that strong (actually, I think Szayel should have had a higher rank than Zommari). And on the other hand, Ulquiorra turned into a vampir-ish creature, and Halibel looks just lika a barely armored human (with the exception of her sword-arm). And so this kinda stupid dinosaur-thing is gonna be stronger than them? Until it is said by someone like Aizen-sama, I will definitely NOT believe it.
All in all, I think Kubo screwed up if he expects us to accept that Yammy is the strongest Espada. I still think that he'll take it back with something like "0 means nothing" or something like that, as he never said the exact words "I'm the strongest Espada" he just said he was 0. The change in number might be totally meaningless, and possibly just a way to make Yammy a bit more interesting until he's shred to pieces by Renji, Rukia and Chad."

" Second revisionI forgot about the signature, thanks for reminding me.
I did a few changes with the chain-hole and his torso. Thing is I want to stick to plain simple colors, without going into shading, grays and that stuff. I made an exception with the hole because I wanted to draw attention towards the blood dripping out of it.
I also changed the text a bit. Personally I think it looks generally better than before, but I'd like to know your opinion and if it's ready for the main gallery or if it needs anything else.

" True DespairHi there! I came up with this idea while looking at the Bleach gallery.
I wanted to do some sort of tribute to Ulquiorra, because I'd been depressed for a whole week and decided to do this.
It was all vectored by me, it was a bit rough as it's the first time I try vectoring a manga scan, and though my line-y shadow style needs to be worked on, I think it's kinda decent.
It took around three hours, and I'm not sure of what was more difficult, perhaps the whole "line-y shadow" thing.
So I have three questions:
1- What should I do with his chain-soul hole? I don't like it in white, but I don't want it to get lost in the torso's shadow either.
2- Should I leave the background like that? I was aiming for something simple, but now that I look at it, I feel like something's missing.
3- What should I do with the text? Get rid of the big part? add more text? what font could I use?
I'd really appreciate some feedback on this one, please! Anny comment, suggestion and critique is welcome!"

"I hate it! I absolutely hate it! Because he... Ichigo would never do such a thing. Ichigo is not a killer. And Ulquiorra can't be dead. He just CAN'T! We were just starting to see his true powers... He's NOT dead. And I'll keep saying it everywhere. He's not dead!!In looks, it's sheer awesomeness, it looks brutal and scary. And it's definitely powerful if he was capable of doing that to Ulquiorra, who is NOT dead.
I really hope next chapter shows Ulquiorra's background, or something about him. It would be shit if they didn't.
