I don't think even the GSD Special airing after christmas or something will be able to fix the damage, there is just too many things left unsaid to place in an 45 minute show. Hopefully, is better than we expect, and for me, that is very, very, low.

The english manga is 10 times better than the english dub. I hate the voices and everything, they turned it into a kid show I think. It dissapoints very much :(

i hate it!!! i dont think i have hated anything more then naruto in english...they pronounced all the names wrong too! naruto is pronounced as nar-uto...n everyone else's names are horrible!

In my opinion I still prefer Gundam Seed a lot... I mean Gundam Seed Destiny was like... nice beginning but rotten ending... and did you guys watched the epi 50 ending? It was so horrible... i mean you do not call that a perfect ending! The repeated scenes just makes me so angry... It is just my opinion though...

Some english dubs are good, but Naruto on Toonami is horrid. I hate Naruto's english voice. I watched two episodes of it just to see how it was and I was very disappointed.

You know what really, really strikes a nerve with me?

This whole "Dubs suck, just because" thing. Why do you people hate dubs so much, honestly? How do you non-Japanese speakers know if a voice is good or not in the subs? Sure, you can detect "Angry" and "Sad" in a voice across language barriers, but how do you know the voice is good? Whenever I ask this question I always get the same crappy answers like "BECUZ DUBS SUCK" and "I JUST KNOW!".

Dubs don't suck (Unless 4kids is the dubber in question, then it's guaranteed to be butchered at the very least). Naruto's Dub certainly doesn't suck. Full Metal Alchemist's dub doesn't suck. Inuyasha's dub doesn't suck. Samurai Champloo's dub doesn't suck. I can go on and on with that. You people just don't give the dub a chance in hell, you just outright talk down on it because it's good for your e-cred to hate dubs.

That aside, even if you declare yourself a master of voice acting in japanese subs, what if these fan sub groups stopped providing their free, and extremely generous service? What would you base your hatred off of? Nothing. Would you all just give up on anime at that point? I doubt it. You'd suck up your e-pride and maybe give dubs a chance.

The point though, is that dubs aren't bad, and it angers me to see people say "____ DUB SUCKS", and not give a reason. And "editing" is not a good reason. Anime originates from Japan. Their culture is different from ours. What is acceptable and what isn't differs a good deal between there and here (US). If a dubbing company removes some blood, or implies violence instead of outright showing it (Like in the Naruto Dub) it's because they want the show to be aired at a certain time, for everyone to see, instead of late night where only fans would see it.

The opening and the ending just... got replaced! What's with the singers saying "tsu yo swa" or something like that;; it's so weird.

I'm pretty sure that's because they didn't feel like buying the license for the opening and closing themes. Which is perfectly reasonable, I've never really liked any of the themes for Naruto anyway.

Naruto's voice actor has asthma or somethin, and that "believe it" is darn right stupid, but then again, he couldn't say it in japanese - -;

Dattebayo is just as annoying as "Believe it", and he says "Dattebayo" more in the sub than he says "Believe it" in the dub.

I fell sorry about you guys...

Sometimes, when the time to peak the voice cast for whatever aniem series, things like this poor work on Naruto came out. This make my thing,.. if they don't want to dubb japanese, then don't touch it.

I honestly didnt see anything wrong with the ending. Sure Shinn didnt beat the bad guy, but he got plenty of screen time and closure. It coverd all it's major plots too. really it ended no differntly than pretty much every Gundam sereis before it.
