Piano ^_^

"I love the piano! I've played it for a very long time, but then I stopped, and now I'm starting to play it again (on my own though). I want to become as good as I was before I quit. I don't think I dropped too much, since I've been playing saxophone since then, but I'm not as good at sight-reading the bass clef as I used to be because of that.

I love listening to piano music too. Anything classical I love, but I like others as well. My favorite song for the piano so far would have to be Pachelbel's Canon in D."

"When I rinse the shampoo out of my hair, yeah, I close my eyes. When I actually put the shampoo in my hair, I'm not sure if I do. It's not something I usually concentrate on."

"Anime is targeted at different age groups. People that say it's just for kids probably have only heard about the ones that show on KidsWB or other stations like that. Tell them to watch an anime on Adult Swim, see what they say."

It;s a scan of a cell from the last series that was done (Dash) and it my own personal property so there should be no copyright or other problems with it. I mirrored it to be left and right side on a 1024X768 canvas Any suggestions or takers (for the image not the cel)?

I don't understand, are you trying to submit a scan? If you are, don't forget to check the scans section of the AP Guide to make sure it meets requirements.

And any suggestions about the error message (I made a paypal donatation a few days ago) regaring downloads of wall paper.

I'm not really sure about that because I've never donated, maybe you should wait for someone who has donated to answer."

"I speak English, I learned like a year of Spanish because it was required at my old school, and now I'm learning Russian. But I like learning new languages, and if I could I'd finish learning Spanish, and I'd like to learn Italian, French, German, maybe Latin, Cantonese and Mandarin (two different dialects of Chinese), and Japanese."

"I wouldn't know how hot it is outside because I've been cooped up in my house ever since school ended. But based on the news, the newspaper, and when I went outside two days ago at night, I would say it's really hot, like 80's or 90's in Fahrenheit. The air conditioner's been on ever since it started working again last week, and it kept my house cool until a couple of days ago when the heat outside overcame the cool temperature in the house, and then we turned the fans on, so that's how I've been dealing with it."

From playing games does your thumbs literally get tired?

"It depends on what game I'm playing. If it's a game where I have to continually press a button, then yeah, my thumbs hurt. But for all games, usually it's my legs because I sit crosslegged with my elbows on them or I sit on my legs. And my neck and back always hurt after playing games."

"Well, when the United States was first created, everyone believed in God, so it was only right to put it in. Now, I don't really find it ironic that US money says "In God We Trust" and then some people use that money to go against what God said was right. I mean, it was inevitable that it would be used like that. Nothing only has positive uses. Everything can be used positively and negatively. And if they use money for bad things, God will punish them in the end. So it doesn't really offend me. I don't think it affects anyone else either, because most of the world believes in God, and other parts of the world that don't believe in God believe in some sort of god."

Anyone watch Avatar?

"At first I didn't want to watch it because I thought it was another one of those Americanized anime imitations, like Totally Spies or Martin Mystery. Most American kids' shows don't have an ongoing story, it's just a different problem each episode, and they're usually not in continuity with each other. But then I watched an episode when nothing else was on, and I liked it. Last year when they had that marathon on Thanksgiving, I watched the whole thing. Even though they borrow the art style and expressions from anime, it really isn't like anime. It's not really like American cartoons either. The motions are more fluid and natural, like American cartoons, and it actually looks like they're saying the words, but it's an ongoing story and there's lots of room for character and plot development, like anime. The fight scenes are really cool too and it's funny.

They're showing reruns now because there's gonna be one of those two-part episode things in the July.

"Well, most of the anime I watch is my brother's, and he usually has to watch it first. Then he lets my other brother watch it, and I usually watch it with him. But if it's my anime, I watch it alone."

I think you should make your own grass on whatever program you're using, and use a real tree, because right now you just brushed some green on and smudged it, and it looks like a furry blob (same with the grass). "I've never met any gay Asian guys. Actually, I've never met any gay Asian girls either. And I think it's stupid to generalize people, because those preconceptions usually aren't true. Maybe the majority of gay guys she met were Asian, but that doesn't mean it applies to the whole world. And the belly button thing...aren't all belly buttons the same size? And how would she even know that all Asians have big belly buttons? Does she go around lifting people's shirts to look at their belly buttons? "You should read the wallpaper section of the AP Guide. It says that if the wallpaper doesn't have a signature on it, then they won't accept it.

Just because they rejected a wall doesn't mean you can't resubmit it after making some modifications. Just add a sig on and resubmit it.

I wouldn't suggest having a stock photo as the entire background. They said the second one was too simple because it looks like you just extracted the girl, put her on a stock photo and added the moon, text, and fog.

Even if it was difficult to put the two scans together, it still looks like you just put the girls on a stock photo. The lighting is kinda weird too."

"Making the background blurred makes the whole wallpaper seem low quality. There are other ways to make the character the main focus. Actually, I wouldn't even suggest using a real sakura tree because it would make the chracter seem out of place. Maybe find a sakura tree from an anime or manga, or make a scene in the background, like he's sitting in front of a house. I don't think you should put those flower brushes on the top left either. They look out of place. The scan is a little grainy too, you should clean it up a bit."

"The scan need cleaning and the extraction can be better. I wouldn't suggest putting a border in, but if you keep it, you should fix it because they're not even on all the sides. The scan in the background shouldn't be so light, you should change the opacity. I think the white area surrounding that scan is a little plain, you should put some color in it. And I agree with everyone else about the font, you should change it to make it more romantic-feeling."
