Anyway, there's still noticable graininess on Lumiere's thighs. And there's not much improvements on the background either. That shining thingie feels disconnected from the wallpaper. It's as if that thing is just there for the sake of being there. You need to have a better flow of feel in the wallpaper. My other suggestion would be to remove the whole duplicate character at the back because it gives that certain "so-so generic" feel to wallpapers. And that purple strands on the background Lumiere's arm is a bit disconcerting.

Never rush your wallpapers. Your changes made gave me the impression that everything was hastily changed (even the light effect felt as if it was plopped down just like that). Slow down and take the time to evaluate and feel your wallpapers. Think of other possible effects that could give your wall that particular 'oomph" that can distinguish your wallpaper from the others.

Personally, I feel that you should pick up on old-school tech style wallpapers (which I feel would suit this KG wallpaper better). There aren't many tech wallpapers being made nowadays as compared to 3 to 4 years back when it was the rage. So that should put yourself in a class of your own.

Not a bad job. The tech lines are different than in most walls and done quite well. One thing I would like to point out though, if not already done, is the jagged lines of the scan. It looks as though it was scaled upwards of it's original size just a tad.

Tsk...tsk...you need to have more patience.

You are better off maintaining a larger size of the foreground scan (i.e. Eclair and Lumiere), possibly cutting the scan off at Eclair's thighs and doing a tech background. You might want to look for ideas at AnimeBGX.net. They have really nostalgic classic tech which might suit you if you are not into the more sophisticated type of tech genre.

As for your other wallpaper, the borders are too heavy. It's sticking out like a cardboard cutout due to your background being overly empty and the heavy stroking. And you need to widen your font choice variety. Try using more techy fonts (that you need to search the net for it).

The main problem with the scan is how it was touched up. Not to mention, as a scan is shrunk its quality improves. In this case you're using a much larger resolution that I was, so you can't shrink it as much. If you can catch me on IM after I reformat I'l give a step by step to get rid of most of the grainy-ness of the scan, as well as that dust spot. as for the bg, there isn't much that can be done except lowering the wallpaper's resolution.

Very nice, clean scan used here. One thing I want to point out is that some of the lines on the background aren't correct. The bottom 2 horizontal lines have bits missing in them. The yellow diagonal line continues when it meets the 3rd horizontal line, which looks out of place. The background characters also have scan errors in them. There are some small light patches to the bottom left. Other than that, nice wallpaper. Probably too ecchi for me to use, but you've got my approval! Nice style. Remember not to use it too much - it will lose it's originality.
