don't exactly remember, but I did remember me being mauled by Lucy from Elfen Lied after having a blast marathon for 6 episodes in a row for Elfen Lied one night.
It was fun, and the best part is of course, I broke out in cold sweat, hitting my head at the bunker roof, and laughed at myself.

Wrong series. Miharu is from Girls Bravo. There's no Miharu in DearS.

Well...As a whole picture is it good. But the neck is a bit to long. But as I say the body ( proportional Etc.) is ok and the left eye is deformed, the stomach part is long too. Try the next time a bit shorter, the whole picture shiold be a bit smaller. Nice work anyway...good job :)

For me when I was younger i started tracing stuff, then as I got better I coppied from other things as I grew I started drawing real objects and so on. of course that was between the ages of 10-12. I still think something to that effect would help any beginner. Tracing helps you hone sharp straight lines. Copying from sight helps you learn scale and size. Drawing from life starts to teach shadow and depth.
Depending on what kind of finished art you are aspiring to make color can be tricky to learn.
one of the easiest things to do for color is go out and get a nice thick coloring book and a huge box od crayons or colored pencils and shade the colloring book pages.
If you're looking to CG thats another bag od nails in itself, the program (photoshop is my favorite) is expensive to own. but then again comes the massive process of learning the program. I can say I've mastered the program function wise. I've been using it over 10 years now. When i started it was intimidating.
Paints and charcoals/pastels are not my cip of tea I know next to nothing about them.
My current tool of choice are markers. Crap markers are just that ... crap. I have over the past 2 years purchased Copic markers and would gladly sponsor them 100% you can do amazing things with them. The multiliner SP set is about the best inking set i've ever used. they are 1000x better than dip pens or Rapidograph pens.
In a nutshell Practice makes you better and learning your tools accounts for alot of practice. Good luck to you in the future . :)

I've drawn more of this anime character than any other...even more than sailor moon back when I liked them ^^; I'm in progress of drawing another chii picture but I haven't finished it. I love chii and chobits old or no... Id be willing to read all 88 chapters again and again now that i finally have them all!

Hello guys, it's been awhile since my last drawing, I think is 2 month... =.= Btw, I'm now currently pratice shading, sucks as usual. This is a copy work from the manga Pretty Face, someoneshould know that. And I spent 2 hours 15 minutes to completed this piece. And clean the BG using the eraser tools in photoshop, I'm sucks in photoshop too... >.< Anyway, any comments is welcome! ^^

It looks decent, so to say for the least. Although I believe it would be better if you done everything with single strokes, rather that typical left-right-up-down hand movement. It really helps on keeping your work a whole lot cleaner, and of course, they make your work into better eye-candies. :P Another comment would be the foreheard on the left part of the whole face. To me, it kinda buldges (Screw the spelling) out too much. But meh, I reckon you'll get better in due time. :) Keep 'em comin'.

hehe that's actually a really good drawing even if it sci-fi, i can imagine how it good it would be if it was a normal anime char =] so good job :) she looks fastic but her left eye, is that a eye patch? or a armor eye patch? or a patch? or a lvl eye thing?

*Dies Laughing* ... It's male, Hun. The egg is his lover's. And he is a normal anime char.. You can check out the rest of my gallery if you like the normal people better. And the eye thing is a wing like structure that can cover his eye and act as a view screen if there isn't one near by on his ship... It can be moved back and forth at will~
