Wii or PS3

"I recently got a chance to see the Wii in action at my friends house. His son was playing a baseball game and my first impression was "Wow this is crap!" I wouldnt recommend this to anyone above 4yrs old.

I have a friend who just bought an open box PS3 way cheaper than retail. We dloaded the GranTourismo demo, and my first impression was "WoW this is also crap!" The graphics in that demo looked very similar to the ps2 version...
The only games worth playing right now on the PS3 are COD4 and UT3. The PS3 marketplace is horrable. Its filled with a bunch of old movies."

Dream of Mirror online/DOMO anyone?

"Ive been hooked on DOMO for the last week. Its a friggin nice mmo where you can have 2 or 3 jobs at the same time and switch them whenever you want. There are lots of cutsey characters and even a love/friend aspect that grants the groups special skillz when teamed together.
The graphics are really nicely cell shaded, and look the best when you crank everything up with anti aliasing to remove the jaggies. A screenshot looks very similar to an anime cap.
btw, play the aeira games version because supposedly the gametribe one has some problems with international users. Whats great about this game is that there are a TON of people on it and everyone speaks english haha.

Intel or AMD Processor

"AMD's goal is usually more performance at less power usage. Thats why when you look at the back of a game box it usually says "AMD equivalent" because you cant really campare the Ghz of a intel vs amd core. An AMD cpu that is 2Ghz for example, is the same speed as a 3Ghz Intel; give or take a few points.
AMD is a very "green" company. The majority of their newer video cards dont need an extra power supply plug. Intel computers will need larger wattage power supplies.

my general theory is, if you ballin go blue; if you arent, go green. AMD's sales pitch is that it strives to provide a cheaper quivalent. I always recommend an AMD for the people like me who want to build an up to date PC for under $1k that will still be fast couple years from now. Intel cpu's will always be expensive.

AMD does make a quad core, but unfortunatley its slightly slower than a x2 dual core. Quad cores, are recommended if you do stuff like rendering, editing, modeling etc. I recently read there was server related/lockup problems with the new Phenom cpu, so i would stay away from them for a while until they release newer models.

"Umm yeah...and unfortunately it was people that i worked with. But i think after we had that awkward coverstation, everything seemed ok.
For guys i would say at some point during work you should show that you are straight by saying something like "man, joo see that girl a while ago?" or something. Then all will be ok and those awkward momens/conversations will never happen."

i had a feeling Crysis wasnt gonna do very well because whenever i talked about to someone, they never knew what i was talking about. Not only that, alot of people didnt buy the game because their PC just couldnt handle it. This game probably should have just come out on PS3 or 360 to get more sales.
I wouldnt say this is the best PC game [storywise] because Half Life2 holds that spot and the sales prove it. The game has somewhat low replay value. Sure id play it again using different tactics and entry points, but thats about it. Playing online isnt that much fun because there are cheaters on it with no anti cheat system in use."

"One thing that will bother you first of all is either the interface or the attacking.
i like to rearrange all my windows sizes, but this game doesnt let me ;/. The chat window on the bottom left is waay too small. And there doesnt seem to be a word wrap, so words get continued on the next line which is odd to read.
Fighting is annoying at first because you sometimes have to click like 5x for the character to move and attack. Its not graphical lag, its like server lag or something. But ive gotten used to it, and ill click on a spell/skill and while its charging, ill click on another.

I sure hope they fix alot of the text because as of right now its kinda hard to do quests when there is broken engrish! Sometimes important information is left out, making you ask around town. Thankfully some people will answer your questions.

The world map isnt detailed enough, so sometimes i have no idea what towns these quests are talking about until i actually go there. Luckily there are arrows to point you in the right way...sometimes. There is a free teleporting service also.

The graphics are on par with Guild Wars except for the ground texture. For some reason, when its on high, itll lag my comp and thats kinda a let down because the gravel texture doesnt look THat GOOD. Very good costume and armor designs.
There are alot of people taking the form of white tigers and stuff. its really strange seeing people in town flying, doing flips and cartwheels.

from the 2 characters that ive made, i get alot of looks haha! people walk by and then suddenly stop and turn around. Guess this is what it feels like to be a hot girl. >_> I notice that majority of the people in the game use the default faces, and thats no fun. No 2 people should look alike. I spent over an hour [more like 2 hours] on each of my characters. Then i test ingame and look in every directin to see if it looks right, then i go back in and edit it again. You get 2 days to modifiy your look, after that you have to pay ingame money for it. Not sure how much that is yet.

Btw my user names are FlameHAZE and ReinaMTL in the game if anyone wants to friend me. Tho i must say that if you were to ask for help, id be just as lost."

Perfect World character customization! weee

"I was a bit skeptical about the Perfect World mmo. It could have been any other mmo that would flop months after its release.
I knew these characters were customize able, but holy shit! this has more face options than ElderScrollsOblivionIV! and its more controllable also. The problem with Oblivion was that there was very limited direction options for face parts. Not only that, the camera angle when you were creating your character was so odd, that your character doesnt look the same when youre finally done.

I like the way PW has its interface setup to where you can open a picture to compare your face if you are trying to replicate someone. Not only that, you can re-edit the face if you arent satisfied. In Oblivion, once you hit that OK button, thats it, you are fucked.

i dont know what it is, but i spend ALOT of time messing with this stuff. Esp in PW when there are soo many options for hair, and uhh well differnt types of facail parts.

"I have never once installed toolbars for over 7years, and yet i still see these programs asking me to install yahoo or google toolbars. WHY?
Main reason i wont install them is because i think they are tracking my searches like other adware/malware/trojan programs. Instead this might be one of those, just from a bigger company.
