"Okis yeah ive been playing it for bout 2 weeks now and its prety slick. Although i have a 16:10 22" monitor and the VGA cables wont allow it exactly so i have to manually stretch out the screen image to get it to look right...
when i played the game demo at the store, i thought the graphics were ok. maybe it was just a bad screen i was playing on, and maybe it was a smaller resolution because there were lots o jaggies. Then i get the game, set it up to the highest res that i could, which is 1280x768 [because 1650x isnt supported] and yep, theres jaggies like mad! they also use a very harsh anisotropic filtering. i can see the layers of gradients where it fades to lower quality as it goes off in the distance, which aint really pretty. I assume they did this just so the game wouldnt dip below 60FPS?

anyways the game is pretty dope, and hasnt gotten boring so far. I like the factory spec races the best."

"Im about to buy this game this weekend...but the thing is i dont own an xbox yet..and i wanted to know if you could change the buttons to the standard 4 buttons for accel/brake instead of using the triggers...because to me that seems kinda odd because ive played Gran Tourismo for soo long...but the Polyphony series is killing itself with crappy replay value
if you CANT change the buttons im not gonna buy an Xbox because this is the only game right now that i want to play on it. spending about $400 just to play one game is kinda holding me back too. i got the money but it could be used to go towards a new tv or bigger monitor because i need one too

"Heh my buddies have been into it for a while..and they said they were gonna have a tournament with $5 entry heh and winner takes the pot [which happend this weekend] and i went out and lookd for the pkg deal and i went to like 4 stores and finally found it at another Walmart.
im getting better...but lets just say this 5yr old beat me...im serious...
btw i didnt make it far in the tourny

Aiptek Tablets

"As of current, i own two tablets, my first one was an Aiptek 6x8 and my newest one is a Wacom Intuos3 4x6 [the newest series. i would have bought a bigger one, but hey, it was a gift ;/ i kinda wish they hadnt bought it for me because i prefer a lerger drawing area. but ill buy a bigger one later]

the Aiptek one, at the time i bought for $99, and it worked fine back then with WinME, but when i upgraded to WinXp and Photoshop CS it totally did not function properly...
it was still useable, but Photoshop and Painter no longer recognized its pen pressure sensitivity making it kinda lame....and after it kinda stopped working, i one day accidently stepped on the pen which kinda renderd it useless, but thats oks since i didnt use it that much afterwards when pressure sensitive was gone
the one biggest complaint about mine is the top of the tablet has F1-F8 shortcuts for whatever reason, and barely moving the pen over these poped up some annoying key binding/shortcut window crap which i never used...it happend so often that i actually made a cardboard border and taped it on so my hand wouldnt go up so high to those floating shortcuts.
the tablet now is basically a mousepad with a cord."

New Adobe Photoshop Cs3 (test version)

"I like the look of the new docking/sliding windows...i luve gray :D
i work on 2 monitors and i noticed an odd problem when i tried to put more than 3 custom windows together. the menu would go extreamly transparent and i couldnt click on the window to bring it back forcing me to reset to defualt and not do it again
im not at home so i cant really make a screenshot, but i like to have my 2nd monitor have a seperate column for Layers, then a really big Navigation window with my swatches on the next tab. i tried to drop in another window and kinda crapped out on me with the transparency thing...

and speaking of transparency, i notice they are trying to make it more sleek and Vista-like...i could care less for transparency, cuz i always turn extra stuff like that off to make performance smoother

expect a horde of new books about "Whats new in PS CS3" all saying the same crap"

"Ive had it on PC for about a week and i must say that this is the best FPS game ive played in a while. it was/is more enjoyable than Gears of War
tho i beat both in a few days
some people might be pissed that the PC version wont run on gfx cards older than 2 yrs old, but i didnt have taht problem cuz i have a x1600. The game looks friggin nice, but i can only get 30fps in 1024x resolution. another thing is that anti alising isnt possible with the Unreal3 graphics ;/...so i have to play with alot of jaggies, but i kinda get used to it when i play for a while

another thing i was surprised is that you only get to control 2 other buddies...i was thinking that the 4th guy would show up somewhere in the story, but it never happened.
alot of people also complain that this isnt true "rainbow six" style and ive seen some die hard fans give this game bad reviews. my only real complaint is you cant control those 2 guys individually; they both do the same command.
dont let the easer gameplay fool you tho, this game is somtimes hard even on normal difficulty. I spent over 2 hours dying in the operahouse scene trying to protect my buddy while hes hacking a computer because enemies are coming through the doorway, roof and rappeling down from the windows!
my last complaint is the dialouge of the enemies. there needs to be more variety like in Far Cry because youll hear "I see you! We got company!" so many times and sometimes there will be 2 enemies saying the same thing like some sort of simon says echo game.

Pro's
-easy to jump in and play, very nice defualt keybindings
-less planning than previous R6 games so there is more action
-multiple paths/doorways so you can choose however you want to engage enemies or get to point A to B
-unreal3 graphics/shaders
-duck and cover / "pop and stop" gameplay similar to Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter and Gears of War
-randomized enemy placement, they arent always in the same spot

Cons
-limited enemy dialouge
-no FSAA option in PC version
-its sometimes too hard, even on Normal

if you cant afford a Xbox360, get it for PC.vise versa although the game looks amazing on xbox360 compared to my low resolution 1024x"

Best game of all time and why?

" Castlevania: Symphony of The Night on psone

got daym that game is awsome because:
-classic 2d sidescroller action with 3d visual/magic fx mixed in looks great even now
-you learn new moves and gain more health/upgrades with exp
-you can shape shift into different things like mist to go through walls
-you can get a floating sidekick like a sword or a little devil, and they even gain exp.
-hundreads of weapons to find, not just swords, but flails and projectiles too
-the castle. omg this castle rocks because its soo huge, and you know what? when you think you've beaten it, its not over because you have to continue the game in an UPSIDE DOWN CASTLE! so the length of the game was pretty long and even more enjoyable upside down because all of a sudden you had to thnk of new ways to reach places that werent accessable before. there were also so many hidden rooms that i dont think i had found them all. Also the game has a castle map, thats how big the castle was!
-boss fights varied greatly from small bosses, to bosses that filled the room. and were a great challange
-the music. the music simply owned. the gothic "symphonic" music set the tone really well

there are many more reason why i think this is the best game ever made, but you just have to play it.

its all mini games in which you are entertained for about an hour or less, and when they run out of ideas to use the controller, the system will flop.. i speculate it will last about a year
the thought of purchasing a Wii never crossed my mind

woah very similar idea here also...but id do it at the last hour since it would only take about an hour to do
somewhere inbetween id go somewhere with a bad or kendo sword and smash up a bunch of cars in a parking lot. its important that i say away from the cops until night time to spend the least amount of my time left in jail.

but before that...i want to hit 150+ mph on the highway. my record is 110mph in a rental Lexus IS300 in the middle of nowhere
sometime during the day i would go to the mall ask couple girls if they want to do it....then we'd do it. may only take couple min to an hour ^_^

i have it on pc running on a ATI X1600, running smoothly between30-35 FPS on all high gfx setting but res set to 800x600

- How do you feel about the game?
i was pretty fun while it lasted...beat the career in 2 days

- How far have you completed the Reward Cards and Unlocks?
still havent gotten the IS300, Corolla, MR2, CTS and a couple other cars..i tried to swap the geometry and texture bin files for cars i dont use but that just lead to errors :D

- What was your best moment in the game?
getting 2+ million points in canyon drift stages with a Shelby GT500

- Your favorite car?
#1 Lotus Elise [general racing], #2 Subaru Imreza [general racing], #3 ShelbyGT500 [canyon drift machine] #4 Murchialago [sp?] for use against the cheap ass computer cars

Who are the best MMOGs??

"I still favor Guild Wars because:
1) ive played it over 2+ years and only had to buy the 2 games @$50each
2) free online play forever, they never seem to delete your account even when its been inactive for over 2 years
3) the graphics...i prefer realistic proportionate players...not like the caricatures of WoW
the bad thing is..its pretty short game...the first GW was really long and the 2nd expansion was only 1/4th the length of the first. i havent played the newest Nightfall expansion yet

i tried to play Ragnarok on a privite server but it just wasnt that interesting because the cities were pretty pretty empty and there was always some douche on a ostrich threating me and its funny cuz i just kept pissing him off

i was hesitant to play WoW, then a friend let me try to free trail...and yeah in the end i didnt still didnt like it

"I collect alot o pix and i seperate them by folders like: [ANIME6.0] 6.0 meaning year2006 and first folder...when i get more than 1000 pictures in a folder, ill start a new one with a higher number like [ANIME6.2]
i collect things like:
anime pictures/artwork
artwork/cg/graphic designs
babes
cars
random stuff - really no category,..usually just funny stuff i find on the web
video game pictures-screenshots, 3d renders etc

i back up my stuff every so often and it grows larger every year because i rarely delete stuff
right now the pic folder is sitting at 5.56GB...but some of that might not count because digital camera photos take up lot of space ;/"
