This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

SMGs are always badass. But the characters have to look badass too for them to work.

The last of the main trio. Considering the overbearing nature of the other two, this one is curiously onscure. Oh well.
http://i138.photobucket.com/albums/q277/RoseKruz/DSCN1615.jpg
The kind of anti-heroes of the main bunch. Their weapons are rather more menacing then the others in their organization for a reason.

The "not so evil" bunch.
Images are rather large so you may need to fiddle with it..."

More new gundams?

"Comparably, they are more like Code Geass Knightmare frames (even moreso now that they have lances) but thing is, they can be considered Gundams because there are mass produced suits that are labeled Gundams like the Raysta and the Deep Forbidden (yes this is a mass produced unit). The units they were based after were all Gundams and these units while being mass produced, still have the traits of the Gundams. The GN-X units are also considered Gundams because although the color scheme is rather bland, they still carry a lot of the Gundam traits. And frankly, they do not have the traditional visor or mono-eye faces either."View

"The GN-T drives produce a particle that damages cells from the reaction caused which means that Throne uses the more dangerous suits.
Saji definitely is going against the Gundams at this point. But I can probably already imagine him piloting a mobile suit with a GN-T drive.
Lockon has the greatest likelihood of being dead. But you never know about these people. They just LURVE bringing the main characters back. Mu la Flaga ripoff scene!XD
Nena is probably going to do that on Earth though and draw the attention of Grahm Acre.Grahm had better survive though. His piloting skills are... amazing."

"However, keep in mind that the ship is built with a GN Drive Tau. And it has docks for 3 units, not 5. They will have to repair and upgrade all four suits in the next season. However, it is pretty cunning, what they did. They forced their destruction so that during repairs, they can upgrade each unit accordingly. The question is who the pilots will be."View

"The Tau drives work quite differently to the regular GN drives though. They need to be recharged very so often although this process is not limited if multiple GN drives are used to facilitate the recharge process. The Alvattore is a prime example as the 7 GN drives that it has been installed with are not as limited in ability as the GN-X and Gundam thrones. And as we said before, we already know what Trans Am does."

"Well as said before, Gundam tends to stick with the main characters. Lockon's death is definitely ambiguous but it would be more plausible if he stayed dead. but if they are bringing him back, then Sarshes will be back too. However, in Gundam, enemies die either really quickly, or get drawn out to some strange point. Alejandro Corner MIGHT die as Livonze seems to be running things behind the scenes and Alejandro may be just a pawn. Exia may be destroyed during a suicide attack at Alejandro's GN generators. it is also highly likely that Lasse may die too. However, Setsuna has the highest success rate for living as-1- He is the main character.
2- He has not settled anything with marina Ismail and leaves something to be desired.
3- His goal is to live. Killing him off ruins the whole idea.
Allelujah is tied to Sohma Peiris so as long as she lives, he lives.
Tieria may still have some storylines with Veda and Livonze so he should stay alive.
As long as Sarshes stays dead, we can expect Lockon to stay dead too."

"Keep in mind that Felt's parents were also Gundam meisters. She may be spurred to follow in their's and Lockon's footsteps so there is a chnace that she becomes a gundam meister. Besides, someone has to replace Setsuna as the immature Gundam meister because even Setsuna has to grow up. Felt is 2 years younger and thus her role may fit in the time lapse. Besides, the original GN drives are still intact for all units (the Kyrios and the Exia's status remain ambiguous) so the next season may bring about the fourth generation of celestial being Gundams. As stated before, in the time lapse, years may pass and the Gundam's combat data will be analyzed to create new ones. Also, if you noticed, the other characters are all using false GN drives. This means that no matter what they do, they will never truly match Celestial being. At least not until they make real GN drives."

Trans-Am system?!?

"There is enough information for me to piece together how it works. We know for certain that the GN drive produces particles. However, the way they are used are based on their distribution. The sprinklers can be used for the dispersion of particles in order to disable communications or for propulsion, neither using enough to drain the suit. However, in episode 12, Lockon told Haro to cut the flow of particles from the sprinklers and concentrate them into the weapons, which means that the particles in the suit given off have a finite amount. This means that even though the GN drives last forever, they still give off a limited amount of particles over time. The next is in the way that the GN Bazooka works and its connection to Trans-Am. In episode 15, we get to see the Virtue use the GN Bazooka at full power and then he notes that the GN bazooka is required to restore its particles until the next shot. While charging, Exia had to cover for it because while it is compressing the particles, it cannot produce a GN field.
Now the question is, why do I say that the drive does not compress the particles? Mainly because of the things called Ptolemius and GN arms. The Ptolemius does not actually have a GN drive but it operates using GN particles. The same goes for the GN arms. However, even without the GN drives, they are still capable of fighting with similar weaponry, which means that it is not the drive that controls how the suit is used at all, it is the machines themselves.
Also, the the concerns about Trans-Am. When it is activated, it brings up a gauge that reads the amount of particles left in the machine. Under the effects of Trans-Ams, the stored particles are used to saturate the machine itself. With the amount distributed, it increases the overall abilities of the machine. The enhanced movements can be attributed to the increased amount of particles spread through the use of the GN sprinklers. The color change can be attributed to the entire suit being converted to a GN active state, similar to the way GN blades work although this one is just a theory of mine. However, as displayed by the Virtue, Trans-Am is based on stored particles. It fired off a shot that is greater in power than its normal form and did it in very little time. Doing so also sapped the greater majority of its power from the Trans-Am gauge (more than 3/4th of the active limit). The suit themselves probably have a limiter that prevents them from losing too many particles as a result of the battle. This is probably the limit that they can still remain functional but not at combat readiness and until the particles are recharged, they cannot really fight. If you look at the Trans-Ams gauge, you'll notice that there is a slight division line that separates both halves of the Trans-am gaug, leaving a small portion off to the side. Once the gauge drains to this line, the Trans-Am is immediately shut down where the suit has used up the particles down to the emergency amount."

"You don't get the point... The GN drive simply produces the particles. It has nothing to do with the compression of it. The external action of the particles is dependant on the suit, not the drive. If you noticed before, the GN arms were able to use their weapons even without a GN drive. They did not need a GN drive to compress the particles because the suit does that for the attack method themselves. The GN drive does produce particles. But the rest is up to the Mobile suit."View
Trans-Am system?!?

"GN drives do not wear out. As described before, the drives can operate for indefinite amounts of time. WHat is being used is the particles from which the unit is storing from the drive itself. The GN drives store a limited amount of particles for use in common action. Just using a Gundam is not enough to really drain it of GN particles. What Trans Ams does is that it allows the user to completely maximize the potential of the Gundams by saturating the entire unit in GN particles and increasing the amount of particles distributed in the GN system as noted by the color change in the Gundams and the afterimages given off. The total performance upgrade is 3x the original statistics and this goes for weapon attacks as well since there were numerous accounts where Gundams had their power increased by Trans-Ams, not just their speed.Exia's Beam sabers were increased in intensity, allowing it to cut through a GN shield with relative ease that a normal saber attack could not cut through.
Kyrios' Sub-machine gun was able to blast apart the limbs of the GN-X units when before, they were barely able to deal more than superficial damage.
Virtue's GN field increased to the point where the shots from the GN-X units could not touch it within the blink of an eye. When before, the GN fields barely lasted 2 direct hits.
Virtue's GN Bazooka's intensity and range of fire increased to the point of completely vaporizing an asteriod with no particular effort. The charge time was also next to none as opposed to the requirement of having a storing time of 3 minutes.
The downside is that The total amount of particles spent in this mode adds up and the unit drains itself of stored particles until it reaches the minimal operational requirements. This limits the performance of the Gundams until sufficient particles have been stored to resume normal operations. Keep in mind that the GN drive has nothing to do with the particles stored other than supplying a strady stream of them. The Gundams are not jacked into the drive itself, they simply store the particles to be used.
Also, Trans-Ams is not functional under time limit, rather by how much particles you use to fight. Virtue drained a large portion of its particles fairly quickly (in less than 1 minute no less...) simply by firing a single shot from the GN bazooka while the Kyrios was in operation for a longer time due to the fact that it did not use half its particles on one big shot."

"Everyone trying to be cool? I think that would be pretty inaccurate. Everyone has angsts too and as we have discovered, its the cool people that seem to kick the bucket the fastest. Setsuna and Tieria are probably the most controversial Gundam characters in the story although I do admit that lockon does have the best personality. But so far, in vs themes...
Setsuna wins vs Kira and Heero.
Kira was an unbelievable little hick, too pacifistic for my taste. His only consolation was Lacus who could probably talk down my mom. Heero was an angsty scumbag who wouldn't give up.
Lockon vs Trowa and Mu.
I give Lockon two thumbs up. He trumps Trowa easily and while Mu is a good contender, he just was too pompous for his own good.
Allelujah vs Quatre/Duo and Shin.
Okay, best way to describe it, Quatre was easily ridiculous as he was a rich boy who was soft. Duo has the best chance at beating Allelujah in character depth. Shin also had a good story. The difference, Allelujah had Hallelujah.
Tieria vs Athrun and Wu Fei.
Okay, at this point we can still hold off on judgment for Tieria. Athrun can't beat this guy but Wu Fei certainly can. (the only good thing about Athrun is the Infinite Justice which looks cooler with Lacus as the pilot.)"

"Note, Cockpits are built slightly below the Chest cavity and are above the legs. If the explosion hit him, it hits ALL of him, not just the legs. Also, I find that Ali Al Sarshes' death was rather rushed so I think he is not dead at all since most characters who died all share one thing, a final glimpse at their face.As pointed out.
Harry- Died with beam sabers stuck in him by Throne Zwei, we got to see his face.
Union Pilot guy whom I don't know his name- Got a final shot at his expression before Lockon blew him up.
Min- We got a look at his reaction as Hallelujah slowly stabs his suit.
Johan- We got to see his slow death sequence before Ali blew him up.
Daryl- We got to see his face before he suicides.
And so on."
