Sudoku

"I have been doing sudoku for quite some time now.
I enjoy doing the daily paper's sudoku puzzle every morning.
They have it set up where Mondays are the easy to do puzzles, and by sunday, your ready to rip out the walls with fustration trying to find the correct pattern. :) hahaha

In some of the extremely harder puzzles, it's just a matter of geting those crucial lines guessed correctly then finishing the puzzle. It only takes 3 correct line to have the puzzle in the bag. But they have to be precise, even one mistake messes up the puzzle and you have to find the error. But it's logic most of the time to that helps you to know where a number (or symbol) goes.

Here is the current puzzle that I have been trying to do today. Difficulty: 5 STAR !! (a real toughy)

I think because I have watched anime for so long, that I'm immune to the odd looking features of most anime character that others that don't watch see.

"Well, I'm a parent and I watch anime. SO...my kids parents do. hahahahahha ;)
But no, my mom thought anime was a bit wierd and dirty back in the late 80's (and it was too).
Now my dad on the other hand loved Space Captain Harlock, Macross, Gatchaman, Space Battleship Yamato and Go Speed Go go go!!
Yeah, Captain Harlock and the Queen of a Thousands years, Battle of the Planets, Star Blazers, Robotech, and Speed Racer here. :) He used to always watch those shows with me in the early morning.

Cooking

"I like to cook. Yeah, but old guy cooking in the kitchen. You have to understand that my Mother and her Mother were both very good Southern cook types. Their talents did rub off on me. Be it Stuffed Peppers, Marinated pork dishes, smoked fish (yum), Seafood, If I have some sort of guide or recipe, I can make it. If I had not got into a mechanical field in life for bigger income, I would have loved to have a profession in cooking. Very enjoyable, however, one must go where the $$$ is sadly. :( "

"I try to handle anger a calmly as possible. Staying rational and trying to understand the situation. Anger is easy to hold back. Fear on the other had is another bag of chips. Lately though, most animes have only been getting 24 to 26 episodes. I was really dreaming for a sequel to Samurai Champloo, but alsa.....nothing so far :(

"Highly doubtful. You have so many people that make animation their life in Japan. Not just a job...it IS THERE LIFE !! You have to take that into Context. Here in America, everything is more overly taken as a tedious job that takes money and time and resources. In Japan, people have been known to work several 24hr days to get an animation project done. Be it the composers of the music, cell artists, computer artists programmers, story writers. That type of effort is never put forth I would bet here in an American studio. In addition, they have a thriving economy dependant on Anime and videogames. Without it, they have millions out of work. ;) "

AnimePaper just seems to be a well constructed site and it has some very good anime wallpaper enthusiasts.

My Parents Argue, Yours?

"Well, seeing that I AM a Parent, I can shed a bit of light on this.
Me and my wife argue as well. Almost 99% of the time it is about Money or home finances.
My wife believes that when something is needed, it's time to grab the purse and fill the gap. However, I believe that you have to be able to afford something before you buy it. That brings about conflict. Big Time.
What really starts to happen is the placement of power. My wife starts to feel like I'm controlling the money, which I don't. She's able to get pretty much anything she wants. But when that practice is allowing $1000's of credit card debt, something has to give. Running up debt is not very smart just to get something now that could have waited till later when It can be properly afforded.

So yeah, Money is the biggest factor when it come to arguing parents. I like the saying above about LOUD conversations. That's pretty much how it happens. But when your parents are fighting, try NOT to get involved, especially if it IS about money. Your involvment only makes things worse, unless your helping your parents pay the Gas & Light bills and have a stake in the financial picture. :) Just leave and ignore. Most of the time financial issues get worked out.

Darn, I have been waiting since 1989 to do a カメハメ HA! I was robbed of my anime childhood. hahahahahha
I remember back in the early 1970's that I found it believeable that anime showed that Japanese people really ate alot.
Always seem to be eating. :)
But when you watch Anime as of 2000's. Girls can practically do anything. The strength of an Anime Girl is astounding. :D
But when in reality, there really is quite a bit of supression on women in Japan still ne? :(

Why do people Bash Religion?

I dont get it. Why do people have to be so opinionated where they cant except other peoples beliefs and makes jokes and intentionally try to make them feel bad. Im just Curious as to why people feel they have to be bad ass and intentionally piss people off. I would love to hear an argument actually justifying these actions.

This psychological behavior is very easy to explain. Human competition. The need to push and stand ground. Developed opinion on life's subjects are tied into to a human's upbringing (training if you will). Rude parents, rude kids.
Justification is irrelavant, when you have an opinion you need no justification, nor any information on the matter. You could be completely oblivious of a current situation or subject and just sprout out an opinion. Then based on your developed mannorisms, will be how you present that opinion. Then based on other peoples opinions, they will either agree or disagree. Individualism...such a wonderful thing ne? :) I'd have it no other way. This variation of different people's developed thoughts on life is really a wonderful thing.
Do you realize how much flak I get just because I'm 37 and I love Anime (as well as any animation) and Video Games? I'm told to grow up so many times it's not even funny. But yet. I am grown up. I'm married, I have 2 kids, I work and take care of my family like a Father should do. Why should I give up what I enjoy just because it's someone else's opinion that Anime and Video Games are for youngsters. I say bollocks to them! My opinion is, if you let age keep you from doing the things you love to do...your a fool !! You see, when dealing with opinions, It's up to you how to react to something you disagree with. The mannorism that is used can be agressive (hate if you will) or it can be passive (being polite about it whether you agree or disagree).
Very rarely are opinions based on the understanding of the FACTS. Take for instance, I just blurt out, " I hate French People". Why? Because they are conceited, they despise Americans, they are cowardous, croissant suffing, wine drinking drunkards. I don't need to justify my opinion. I just feel that way about them. When In fact, most peoples opinions are developed on what they read about in the news, seen on TV, or may have had just 1 or more bad experiences that have established their negative opinion, but on the flip side, that opinion could have been a positive one, created by a postive experience as well. Oh and no, I don't hate French People, just an example. :) Same thing with Religion or really any other subject you'd like to throw in here.

Whether your aggressive or passive, it has always been my belief that everyone in this world is entitled to their Opinion. No matter how absurdly wrong or painfully true it is. Always keeping a cool head and an open mind in the 'face of opinion' will always keep you on top. No matter how absurdly wrong the rest of the world is ;)
