After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! White to Transparent Gradient in Photoshop 7?

"I hope I'm posting this in the right section;;My appolegy if that is not the case.
I'm currently using Adobe Photoshop 7 and following an old tutorial.
At some point in this tutorial you have to draw a gradient that goes from white to transparent.
Since I have no gradient like that in my gradient set I used a basic red to transparant gradient and changed the red to white.
The result is a completly white gradient after using it.
I'm using my Gradient on a new layer which is set to normal.
I also tried using a basic blue to transparent gradient and the result after using it is a blue to white gradient.
For some reason my transparents look like white.
Is there a way to get REAL transparency in Photoshop gradients?
I hope you guys can help me on this."

"Manga is the japanese word for comic, but after it got known out of Japan, the difference between western "comics" and japanese "manga" became clear ( both the words mean the same).Therefor the word manga also became subsitude for the japanese style of drawing/making comics.
So the question is, have you made the comic in japanese drawing and page style? If you did, it's a manga.
In making a manga comic there really are some don'ts and do's,
Drawing a comic in japan doesn't make it a manga eihter, just like you beeing american doesnt make your comic american.
The country where it is made doesnt make the manga, its the style.
This is all just my personal vieuw~

"Kissing is ok, if your offended by seeing other people kissing...thats just a to bad for you I guess.Most people who go "ugh! see those people there~" ussualy are the ones that are secretly jelaous anyway.
There are limits though, theres no need to make other people feel uncomfortable for no reason by going a bit to far. Just a kiss is ok. It ussualy makes me smile when I see two people kissing. there happy, good thing right?"
