"Like chaz said, the chii scan doesn't blend and match well with the bg, the bg is kinda...overblurred. also the styles doesn't really match, mayb you can try another scan or... modify the scan so the colors looks more realistic and fresh, instead of dull. the border on the bg (that black stuff) doesn't really fit well. mayb you could just let the effect instead of stopping it with a border. I'm not sure about your choise of effects on the bg...kinda...moving for me....anda....I don't really like the composition. just practise more with it ^_^"

"Like highknees said, the scan doesn't fit in the wallpaper. the leaves and the brids aren't looking good. your probably should check out for some other brush or stocks for those. and between the clouds is some..texture of a planet....but...is there a planet at the back in the left=/? hmz..ow well...try to find a better scan that will fit better in the wall."

"First...it's design...not disign =/...try find some tutorials to extract your scan better,like ever ruler said...it looks jaggy. the background is too simple and plain. the flashy lights doesn't fit. you need to think of an idea for the background. try experimenting with the bg and play with more stuff like, brushes, textures, filters etc..."

I think you could make the outlines first before vectoring the whole stuff."

What type of tools do you use to make vectors?

"It's cause photoshop makes fake vectors, that's why the lines looks jagged. illustrator and flash are the only real vector programs. you can change the size to whatever you want, after making it in illustrator. if you do that in photoshop, you'll get a bad result, if you enlarge it."

"Before I got the non standart fonts I liked to use monotype corsivia, cause I like caligraphic...but I get new stuff...and I like those japanese fonts(still in alphabet not those characters) :D just forgot the name 6_6"..."
