i was mainly playing around with different brushes and stuff, just for fun...so it's not really a serious attempt at a wall...i hope you like it!

i like the idea you have here...it shows how cold rei could be...and how she's alone...

okay. there's a space inbetween her bent left arm that i don't think you cleaned out...the snow/ice/white stuff--maybe you should clear it away from her face and have it only below her...i don't know why but the white stuff seems like it doesn't really belong in some places...maybe have it kinda "swirling" around her....i like the idea you have for the "what am i" text and how the area around that is empty...i also suggest you erase the NEON GENESIS EVANGELION text; it doesn't seem to match on the wall...i think you should also clean the scan a bit more, especially her hair.

aaaaaand....it might be too simple ~__^

ANYWAYs...as the others have said, clean it up more...take out the rough edges...and fade the scan at the edges too...
or, if really want to, use a completely different scan. but that scans is cuuute.
it has potential though, it really does...but you have to work really hard on it if you want it to look great.

okay okay, go back to the first version!! don't change the color, keep it PINK...it already matches misha well...hm...maybe make the church pinkER? and add some layers/filters on top of the church...it's still realistic-y ^o^ lower misha's brightness though, i agree. for the font, use some really pretty and fancy cursive and add some effects to it ^__^

as for the sparkles...you don't have to add them hehe, it was just a suggestion!

i actually made this wall the day after i made my first wall, but i decided not to rush on showing both of them to you peeps ^__^

for this wall, i wanted a *simple* scenic look...y'know, grass, trees, and the sky. i used the coolio grass tutorial from imanimetions, made the tree by using random brushes, and...the sky came from somewhere >__< the lighting effects are there since there's a sun anyways...

the main problem for me is the sky...i know it probably needs more perspective and all that, but i need help!!
the rest of the wall probably needs a lot of fixing too o__O;;

okay, maybe move dark more to the right so the sparkles look like they're drifting towards him more... as the others say, redo the sparkles in different sizes and opacitys, and maybe add different types too...for the empty space, add shooting stars, planets, moons, and anything else that's in space ^___^ darken him a bit more too...he still seems scan-ish...clean him up a bit, neh? and if you already did, do it again lol (imanimetions.net has a cleaning tutorial)

"Since i have NO idea what sakushio is or what it means, i'm just going to act like an idiot and pretend it's dnangel since it looks like that anyways.

take out the lighting effects and "dark's" wings...they look kinda weird. "daisuke's" wings should have a higher opacity to make it look a bit more connected to his body...or you could just replace them >__< take out the white cloth thingy since it's cut off anyways, or just lower the scan down so the cloth looks like it's coming off the page instead. add more stuffs to the bg!! like a sun or moon, stars, whatever, and show the sky!! the foreground cloud fluffy stuff seems fine, but it's a bit too SOLID...maybe make it clearer like it's fog or something. don't remove the text though...it looks cool!!

but it definitely needs some text!
maybe "Waiting for you" or "An Angel's Wedding Day" or "Someday..." or "I do" (that seems to be the title you put on the bottom of the wall) --these imply that misha is waiting for her "love" since she looks like she's getting married anyways >__<

for the stock photo...put some filters over it so it's not as realistic looking. i like the perspective shown here though :D

MAYBE add some other stuff...like sparkles or brushes to make it look like it's misha's "special" day ^_^; and a sky, perhaps?

i like how it's looks though~

o_O anyways...the brightness doesn't really bother me cause i love bright walls, but i think the only problem is that the snowflakes are too repetitive, like Alisha said. Maybe you should add some stuff in the foreground, like soft dots of snow and white circles/twirls around her, or bursts of light, or something magicy >__< well, Sugar IS a season fairy, right?

the grass (it's grass right??) on the ground seems very unplanned and misplaced...and the character's texture looks weird...and i don't really understand the background...

it's your first wall though, so it's okay...but for the grass, put it all around the ground and put some where he's sitting so it looks like he's actually sitting IN the grass...for the character, maybe clean it up a bit (or a lot), and for the bg put some perspective in it...or add more black sections to it...or just do another bg...

i don't know who Ishimaru is, but is his name spelled ISHimaru or ICHimaru, cause you spelled it 2 different ways. and is he an evil character or a good character? depending on which one he is, the wall might be bright or grungey. overall, the wall is a bit TOO simple...add more stuff to it, like a sky or something.

i can't help you much cause i'm also a newbie waller ^_^; but i'm just telling you my opinions and what i THINK would help.

"TADA!!

whooeee...i finally finished...it took me a while cause i had a lot of other stuff to do...does it look any better? *prays*

soo...it ended up being like 31 layers, took around an extra like 3-4 hours fixing it again :faint: and for the character i simply took the original scan and duplicated it 3 times, and the 2nd copy was on soft light...i don't know HOW or WHY i did it, i just played around with the layers and it looked better this way...with a little help from the dodge tool >___< i also did the halo and bows again, so now it looks waaay better from last time :halo:...and i PURPOSELY put the white glow around her this time too!!

oh and i added a white-ish twirl, a really dark brown twirl, and a caramel colored one, so now it look like there's white choco, milk choco, dark choco, caramel, coffee, toffee, and all that other good stuff!! :)

i was wondering though...what's "A School Life of Heaven" about? the girl's from there, but i don't know ANYTHING about it...and i can't find it on google ^_^; (i found the scan at animeaproject)
