This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

Why do anime characters mostly have Large eyes????
1 year 3 months ago
"Its an emphasis thing that comes from various forms of theatre. By enlarging the eyes (or grossly exagerating the expression) it becomes easier to convey the emotions of the character and therefore the audience is more in tune with the characters "inner self" Several forms of open air play styles including those in Japan use makeup around the eyes to make them appear larger and make it easier for the actors to convey the emotions of their characters."View
Harry Potter: The Eight Installment?

"Well there is a world of difference between an "eighth" book and a "compendium" on the world of Harry Potter. Does not sound like she would be writing another story but merely putting everything together into a kinda of encyclopedia of the world of Harry Potter"View
Less & Lesser clothing day by day on TV
1 year 3 months ago
"Actually I believe the biggest problem is the obsession over the naked human body. I've been to several places where being naked was no big deal. It was just a cultural difference. People have gotten into the mindset that naked equates to sex (you can thank the church for that influence) when it really doesn't. However since so many people are embarrassed, shocked or consider it taboo to be naked or close to naked its driven a whole society to declare it "bad". I personally have no problem with people that enjoy showing their body off the problem I have is how they show it off. I mean someone walking naked down a beach is vastly different from someone making sexual gestures on a couch or in bed. As for the clothing well thats a personal thing. People can b#$%@^ and moan about it as much as they want but I doubt most "provocative" dressers will change their habits."View

whats ur ride? or what would u like to drive!
1 year 3 months ago
"First car was a 1990 Chevrolet Corsica and then I switched to a Chevrolet Suburban (ahhh... the room it has). I'd love to get something more fuel efficient but with the same amount of room inside but unfortunately unless I build it myself (and I aint got that kinda money) it doesn't exist and I am leery of the new hybrids because the production of their electrical power cells and their disposal seems to have as much (if not more) of an impact on the environment than the gas guzzlers do and just shifting where the damage is done is a piss poor way to "save the planet""View
Teen Drivers
1 year 3 months ago
"Well they have to learn sometime. I think the biggest problem is that parents dont stop and educate their kids on what they've learned. If kids learned to drive while having to have a parent or other responsible driver in the car with them I think this would greatly reduce the number of accidents involving new drivers. That really the entire idea behind learners permits. As far as the drugs and alcohol are concerned its usually a case of rebelliousness (i.e. you told me I cant so I went and did) Also if kids can learn from watching others experiences then it tends to hit closer to home."View
Piercings and Tattoos

"I have a single tattoo (my Fraternity's badge) and no piercings. I would only consider getting one other tattoo (my family crest). I believe that tattoos should have a meaning and not just be art. I don't have an issue with people that want to turn their bodies into canvas but I do think it should have a deeper meaning."View
Underweight
1 year 3 months ago
"Whoaa being underweight or overweight on the standard 90 percentile charts is not an immediate cause for concern. If you are experiencing other health issues that are associated with that weight level then it is a cause of immediate concern. If you are really worried I high encourage you to go to a doctor and talk to them about yourself (weight, normal activites, and odd feelings or pains, etc...) in order to get a good medical opinion on whether or not your weight is a healthy one."View
Oil Crisis
1 year 3 months ago
"Actually a better question is probably what to do with the leftovers. Your basic cars will probably remain the same so I can see alot of cars being broken down, the parts being inspected, and the good parts then reassembled into alternative fuel vehicles (or other items). All the bad parts will probably be recycled in some way as well (Melted down and reformed for the metals and chopped up and then reused for the plastics).I've actually seen a car that can get 100kilometers per liter of gasoline (umm thats approximately 230miles/gallon). It is a small ultra efficient single person vehicle but I have no doubt it could be scaled up and the efficiency would probably end up at around 100 miles per gallon. The biggest problem is us. We do not want to spend all the substantial additional money on getting more fuel efficiency and the automakers know it so they keep the cars cheap and relatively inefficient."

The greatest drink (alcohol) in your country??

As for me there is only one city where I can get my favorite drink. New Orleans, Louisiana is home to the original Nawlins Hurricane."

Animes are cartoons

Oil Crisis
1 year 3 months ago
"As for the factories - Yes they are called volcanos and are quite a wonder of nature. A single major eruption expells more CO and CO2 (not to mention the particulate matter that makes it into the upper atmosphere) than any country on the planet in less than a day.
As for the ozone layer, well its almost at its worst point and is expected to fully rebound (due mostly to the worldwide ban on the use of CFCs) over the next few decades
I see you are yet another person educated by the press.
Fact number one: the all you refer to is actually about 30% of the total. About 40 to 50% are undecided or think there is insufficient data and the rest disagree that we humans are the major cause.
Fact number 2: What they all do agree on is that we do have an impact. Fact nmber 3: Actually the planet has had more than one ice age and achieved average temperatures higher than they are today during several points in the earths history which has been confirmed through different methods (two of them are ice core studies and paleoclimatology)"

Oil Crisis

"There is a ton of stuff you as an individual can do to help the environment and to create renewable energy. The first step is to toss out all those idiots who do nothing but talk and try to blame others for the problems of the world without actually taking action (I would name anyone in particular but one of them has the initials Al Gore).
The second is to ignore idiots that say humans are the major cause of global warming. Its a blatant lie and just intended to get everyone to panic. The world ha been warming and cooling since far before we got here and will continue to do so with or without our help. Therefore concentrate on dealing with the results of what our world will naturally do.
The third is to look into new ways of doing things that generate less waste
The fourth is to look to new ideas for sustainable resources"

Drink? Or drunk?
1 year 3 months ago
"I do drink and I do not like beer so that pretty much leaves wine and Liquor. My philosophy is that drinking like anything else in life should be undertaken in moderation. The biggest problem most people have when drinking is that they do not know when to slow down to enjoy themselves. They just keep drinking until they pass out on the floor. The idea is to drink enough to get yourself pleasantly drunk and relaxed and then slow down to maintain that feeling (and also to take it a little easier on your liver). When you just keep goin until you drop out then you really can't enjoy the rest of the time that everyone else is awake and having fun laughing at your dumb a@#$ for being a lightweight. :)
But to be serious there are too many people out there that do not know how or when to drink and that is a major cause of most incidents involving alcohol."

"Well as far as humanoid shaped mecha are concerned take a look at deep see suits. I doubt that we will ever go to full size humanoid mecha due tot he impracticality pointed out in previous points but powered exo-skeleton like devices have been around for quite a while. The biggest problem is coming up with a sustainable and powerful yet compact power system."View
Anyone play a musical instrument?
1 year 11 months ago
"Well I used to play the euphonium (or baritone as it is sometime called). Its marching band version looks like an oversize trumpet and weighs about 10times as much as the aforementioned trumpet. The concert version resembles a small Tuba. Wish I had not stopped playing since I did enjoy it alot and I never did play any anime based music."View

Amerime

"Remember that imitation is the highest form of flattery. Several of the newer anime style American cartoons are OK but don't call them anime. They still share alot of what isn't seen with the older American cartoons (i.e. they are not nearly as graphic). Both are good. I love anime and I also love the older Warner Bros. cartoons, the Disney cartoons, and the Hanna Barbara cartoons. Animation is an art and should be recgonized as such regardless of where it is created."View
