After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

"I was wondering how sub-forums become created, specifically in the anime thread section. It seems like a semi-random of titles. Of course, they're all popular, but there are also others with a strong fanbase that aren't listed (such as Haruhi). It makes it difficult sometimes when I would like to see what others at the AP community have to say about series.I couldn't think of somewhere to look up this "issue" I have, so a solution could be a nice sticky somewhere?"

"So, I managed to wait out Haruhi until the final episode came out for (almost) Endless Eight. Made watching the episodes less painful. Of course, I manage to offset some of the stress by focusing on simply listening to voices and trying to pick up Japanese.I do like how they made the last episode. Pretty much the same basic length as the other episodes, so they had to add the epilogue of sorts at the ending credits. Very well made, but like everyone else, wished they had ended it sooner. I think 2-3 repeats would've been a good number for me. That would've been enough to let me know what their idea was (original at least) without killing it for more casual viewers.
So, I was very curious as to how the light novel actually portrayed Endless Eight. Can you offer me some more insight on that? (I'll read the novels one day, but not for awhile.)"

"I personally would recommend the manga over the anime. The artist's (Eiichiro Oda) mind and drawings as difficult to animate properly, and I've haven't seen anything in the anime that would draw me away from the manga, even for the fight scenes (whereas Naruto, I seem to enjoy some fight scenes). Not to mention his fun artwork and interesting chapter covers (telling a parallel side story).I recently started catching up on the manga again as well (and caught up after several hours). My afterthoughts: why does One Piece keep going under my radar? I remember having fun reading it in the past, and I stopped reading to let chapters build up. Then, going through some of the latest arcs, I'm simply amazed. There's so much in the world of One Piece that it blows away everything else I've come across. Sure, most of it is really weird, but I've found that it has grown on me over time. Now I'm a die-hard fan. Oh, and like others say, it takes time to build up in the initial story, but it really takes off after awhile.
Plus, I'm a sucker for those friendship speeches. (Naruto does it too :P)

"Very unique interpretation of weird. Perhaps correct in other scenarios, but here, I think that "awesome" would've been a better fit. Nice support of AP I see with the wallpapers printed out. I should probably do that sometime -- doesn't have to be on the computer strictly >_<On the room itself, great theme setup. Red, yet sticking with a starry theme. I think people would be jealous of your room, if anything ;P. Ahh...makes me wonder what it'd be like to live surround by walls of red. Great, bold color, but what does too much of that do to someone?"

"It really depends on what series are out. I've watched too much anime -- or, at least all of the "good" ones. Thus, unless I have a motivation to watch something, I can go without anime indefinitely. On the other hand, give me a good series, and I'll be fighting every day not to watch it."View

"Hmm..I watched 3 episodes. The animation was decent, but the CG for the dragons (or maybe it's just their design) doesn't work well for me. The story line is normal for a shounen (I wouldn't say anything spectacular). For me, if I had didn't have other series, I would watch because of the voice actors. For now, though, I'll have to pass unless I hear that it develops into something more (which doesn't normally happen for Gonzo in their many shounen series). The fan service also feels annoying sometimes, but that's something I could easily deal with if the other factors of the series worked."View

I remember watching Gundam Wing the second time, and the drawing just bothered me (because I already knew the story so paid more attention to other details). However, I would not say that the show focuses on the effect of the Gundams. That's the idea for the plot (can war end by war? probably not as we all know...), but I feel that the characters will be the major factors. "I would say that it's too early to call. I know that similarities exist, but the political aspect of the plot is different by far (to me at least). Marina also leads (perhaps more in a figurehead position given her advisor's criticism) a country, and that fits Cagalli's description more accurately.As far as Setsuna and Heero being similar, I'll agree on one note: they seem very serious and unsocial for the most part. However, Setsuna doesn't show any of the inhuman skills that Heero had, and Setsuna is definitely more emo. Scarred childhood ftl.
Fun to get some discussion before the series reveals the answer to us! Let's see what other people think of the characters' personalities thus far."

"Yeah. I noticed this as well, and I really like it! It makes you think about the conflict more so (for me at least) rather than treating it as the normal Gundam series (result of seeing too many).Then again, the plot is a bit different from the norm as well (not quite the fight for independence in Gundam Wing).
I want to talk about MasterX25's comment (lots of words), but I'm too tired tonight. =) I'll be sure to check back though.

Where else are you going to get the emotion and the music to accompany the animation?Of course, sometimes the production team does a bad job on those elements, but that's part of the battle. "Mmm. I like to say that once we watch too much of the "same" stuff, then it gets repetitive. I don't see anything new with this series yet, but I believe that I have a soft spot for Gundam. As long as the plot doesn't get annoying, I think that I'll enjoy it. The animation looks nice, and the fight scenes so far have been playfully enjoyable.However, like most series, I don't expect to see real development until episode 5+ AT LEAST."

"I was kind of excited by episode 1 because I liked the humor. At the same time, it felt bland because it seemed like Kanon. Episode 2 didn't really help because it still focused around a "weak" girl.However, I think I've been convinced by episode 3 to continue with the series. There seem to be many more characters coming into play, and I'd like to see where they go with the series and how much they show of the characters and the alternate world."

"I'd love to experience fighting in an anime world such as in a Gundam or super powers (SSJ!!). It's to think about. However, anime is not really good reflection of life - we don't have cute scenes every day. I wouldn't choose to go to an anime world because of that. It's suppose to be enjoyable to watch for that reason and keep that separate."View
