After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

BLEACH--The Scenery of Winter Blossom

"Hmmm, personally the Bleach title is a turn off. Maybe take it off? It sort've looks odd just there in the corner, and it conflicts with the purple; it distracts alot. The main text also looks weird...Maybe its the way its warped. Other than that, the colors are ok, a little bright, but good. The background is perfect; Byakuya's hair however looks a smidge choppy.8/10 ^_^
Good job!"

"Ok, so after much thought...I wasn't sure how to do my next wallie. My Ishida wallpaper was fairly successful and I felt I must do another one ^_^. I did a Ulquiorria one, but It wasn't as glorious. So here's the next; THE dark of the BLEEDING moonI recently wiped my pc, so I lost quite a few resources, but I tried to bounce back. I know some hate the black backgrounds, but it works well with Hollow Ichigo. Any comments for improvement? Criticism?
The = Hollow Ichigo btw ^.^"

PSP vs NDS?
3 years 2 months ago
"Yes, I know. That's why I'm not a huge fan of handhelds. Sadly, companies like Bandai Namco are trying to force my hand, by releasing many a Tales game (Eternia, Destiny 2, Tempest, Phantasia, another World, etc), and of course Square went and re-released one of the hardest PSX games to find, as did Konami with Suikoden I + II, though they're supposedly not releasing it outside of Japan. Atlus has the original Persona game listed for porting, Nippon Ichi had Makai Wars slated for the PSP at first too, though it got cancelled, and, well...it'd just annoy me to no end if I went and missed out, y'know?
It's not like I'd just buy a PSP or NDS for the games I'm listing, though. I need a good reason to invest in a console/handheld. But once I've got a good reason to get it, I'll explore the other games, as well. =)"

Star Ocean Till the End of Time

"I've played through both The Second Story and Till the End of Time. I can't wait for tri-Ace to get done with it's Valkyrie Profile addiction to start on Star Ocean IV, or possibly (hopefully >_>) port Star Ocean and/or Star Ocean: Blue Sphere to the PSP or something. As far as favorites go, I enjoyed SO3's battle system more, and my favorite character would either be Maria or Mirage. I wasn't incredibly fond of most of SO2's characters. Then again, I probably ended up with one of the worst teams you could manage, so that might explain it."

Final Fantasy IX

"I've rarely ever heard of FF9 being criticized. Though, more accurately, I very rarely hear people even mention FF9 to begin with. If anything, all I hear is FF7 being praised, FF7 being called "overrated," FF8 being summed up as nothing less than a train wreck, FFX being praised, FFX being knocked for it's choices (ie: Sphere Grid), FFX-2 being made fun of, or on occasion FF4 or FF6 being referenced to show how one of the already stated games "suck."Personally, I played FF9 near-constantly until about disc four. About then, more so near the end, the game kind of bored me into stopping for a few weeks. Especially around the Memoria area, though I don't remember exactly what it was. Probably the whole "the world is screwed" feeling or something. Either way, I still managed to have more fun with FF9 than I had with FF7 (outside of trying to kill those blasted Weapons), so it's certainly not my "least favorite" FF. Right now, that would have to go to FF2, followed up by FF1 and FF6, since both are moving entirely too slow and boring me senseless. >_>"

Devil May Cry Special Edition

"Would anyone mind supplying any type of actual proof that would confirm this information for those of us "not in the know?" I did a quick run through on GameFAQs' database, and I came across three things. The first was an 8/24/06 re-release of Devil May Cry in Japan (PlayStation 2 the Best), the second a 9/29/06 release of Devil May Cry 3: Special Edition in Europe, and the third was a port of the original Devil Mary Cry to the PSP, though it only had "TBA" listed for release dates. The search didn't list anything along the lines of a "special edition" for anything besides DMC3, either.A search into Resident Evil also didn't bring up any Resident Evil (1) release on the PS2. The 8/24/06 thing could've been what you were talking about with the soundtrack and the art book, but I'm not seeing how RE fits into it at all, unless the GCN version is being re-released, as well. Without additional content in the game (which would warrant the game being listed separately on 'FAQs), I wouldn't imagine anyone outside of Japan would see those extra items."

Blue Dragon

"I recently started getting interested in Blue Dragon. Not really because of who made it (though I love Chrono and Dragon Quest), but just simply because, when you're talking about Xbox 360 RPGs, there isn't a whole lot to choose from. More so when you narrow it down to JRPGs, as opposed to something like Oblivion. Anyway, that being said, I'm still confused as all hell about what's actually happening with the game. Around E3, I downloaded a trailer from GameSpot, only to find that it had no sound. Now, that's not saying sound would've made it better -- the trailer, for whatever reason, was totally boring and, sadly, uninspired. I'm still interested in the game, but I can't say that I have very high expectation for it right now. If I have a 360, I'll be sure to pick it up. Otherwise, I'd rather just have Dragon Quest IX.Either way, hopefully they'll release another trailer at TGS later this month. Learning more about a game is always nice."

PS2

"Honestly, I think the topic creator needs to stop looking at the "mainstream" genres that include things like GTA and it's ripoffs/spinoffs, and look at what the console has as a whole. In comparison to how many games the PlayStation 2 actually has -- especially in Japan -- I'd honestly say less than 40% actually have "significant" gun and/or car use. Obviously, the FPS and Racers are nailed, unless you mean guns and cars in the same game, in which very few PS2 racers have guns -- sans things like Twisted Metal -- and, though my experience is limited, I don't think a whole lot of (early) PS2 FPS games use vehicles. If I'm not mistaken, that's one of the lesser reasons Halo was mad popular back in the day. You know, aside from the fact that driving a Warthog was one of the most unenjoyable things you could do in the game.Back to the topic at hand, most RPGs don't involve gun-users. I think, at this point, even "throwing-type" (like kunais, grenades, shurikens, etc) enemies outnumber the gun-types, since long-range attacks are usually handled through magic. In terms of Final Fantasy, not many playable characters use guns. Though, yes, human enemies usually carry them -- the "real life" factor of not every person in the world knowing how to fight, I guess. Outside of RPGs, you've got the action, adventure, platformer, and strategy genres, to name the ones I'm actually interested in. Adventure and platformers, for the most part, don't really involve guns. There are the "Sony Three" -- Jak, Rachet, and...Sly, was it? Dunno. Anyway, Jak uses vehicles from time to time, and Rachet's a gun-crazy, over-the-top game, though I have no actual experience. Older titles in the genre, like Spyro and Crash, didn't rely on guns or vechicles, though I did notice Crash started to -- about the time his games started, well, sucking. Strategy games, I guess, depend on which type of subgenre is attached to it. SRPGs, again, don't typically use guns, though obviously a strategy war simulator would involve all kinds of vehicles and guns.
...Yeah, rant-rant. The point is, while a lot of PlayStation 2 games are violent, the majority actually doesn't involve those two things. In the off chance this is some sort of "joke topic," you could've easily just gone and said "sword." When you talk about swords, I honestly can't name an incredible amount of games that don't use swords. Especially in the genres I like..."

PlayStation 3 vs Xbox 360 vs Nintendo Wii
3 years 2 months ago
"You know, I hate to say this because I'm usually of the opinion that the masses these days are "mindless casuals with no sense of gaming," but I'm so turned off by the PS3 that I honestly can't see myself buying one for the next three or four years...incidentally, that being about a year before the next-next generation news beings to fester, and only about a year and a half before the first system could launch. This being said, I just can't justify paying out $600+ for any console, let alone the successor to the PlayStation 2 -- the only console I've ever had to replace. And replace I did -- roughly four times (twice for me, twice for my sibling). Not counting how many times it needed cleaned out and such. ... Meanwhile my Xbox and GameCube can sit anywhere in my room, collect as much dust as they want, and still not give me a lick of trouble. There are those old rumors of Sony having technology that could potentially make it impossible to play "used" PS3 games on the console, as well. I haven't heard anything about that in a long time -- not since E3 anyway -- but I can totally see Sony doing that, so that people are forced to pay full price for everything, and in turn not lose quite as much money on it. What happened to the only mildly expensive systems that I could drop a few dozen times and still have work, Sony? Ah well. In the end, Sony has the third party support. As long as Square, Enix, Bandai, Namco, Capcom, Konami, Nippon Ichi, etc. intend to stick with Sony, I have no choice but to eventually buy one. Such is the way it works, I guess.Interestingly, as much as I know loathe Sony, I'm beginning to like the Xbox 360. Don't get me wrong, I still hate Microsoft as a company, I find most things Microsoft's big guns say incredibly annoying (IE: backwards compatibility isn't important -- I've spent the last six months playing PSX games on my PS2) and, for the most part, offbase. But, I'm finally starting to see some 360 games I might like. Gears of War, though I know nothing about it, seems to look gorgeous, and at the very least, more appealing (as a game) than Halo 3...which I'll end up picking up at some point, as well, due to my sibling's obsession with it. There's also Phantasy Star Universe, which is also on the PlayStation 2, Blue Dragon, and the new Enchanted Arms -- all of which have caught my attention. Saints Row, apparently, is practically a Grand Theft Auto game -- minus the title, and being "less than" San Andreas in certain areas. But that being said, I've enjoyed playing San Andreas as a time killer, so I'd like to at least give that a shot. Dead Rising sounds like it's mad fun, at least for a few hours. Throwing various things -- like CDs -- at zombie's heads to annoy them sounds pretty nifty. The amount of "weapons" in the game should provide enough incentive to look around, too. There's also Condemned, Chromehounds and Armored Core 4 that I'm interested in. Honestly, AC4 would probably work better on the PlayStation 3, or at the very least, feel more familiar (considering I've played every other one using a DualShock), but I've already covered why that isn't working. I have absolutely no interest going online with an Xbox 360 or anything of the like, so I'm sure I'd "miss out" on some better multiplayer online titles, but regardless, the games I've listed here easily surpass the games I actually own on the original Xbox right now. Something, in itself, that I paid $300 for back in January of 2002.
As far as the Wii goes...that's my number one choice. I haven't passed up a Nintendo console yet (not even the bloody Virtual Boy XD), and I don't plan to start now. Especially not with the Wii version of Twilight Princess, Metroid Prime 3, Super Mario Galaxy, Dragon Quest Swords and Super Smash Bros Brawl all out in the open and due for release within the first year following the Wii's release. The controller's still a bit iffy with me, at least until I get to try it myself, but the price, and the "you know it's durable" factor easily take care of any other issue I could have with it. Plus, that online shop could easily supply me with dozens of hours of fun by itself."

Games from your childhood

"I grew up playing video games. Literally, I'd sit in front of my little 13" black & white tv...or maybe it was just really dirty/slow quality color...whatever, not important. Anyway, the point is, I'd sit in front of that thing every day (before & after school when I started attending a few years later) playing some game or another. Sometimes with my friends, that was usually a Super Mario Bros game, Smash TV, Streets of Rage, or a random fighting game like Mortal Kombat or Eternal Champion. Sometimes with my family, which was usually Galaga, Tetris Attack (an SNES game -- what "Pokémon Puzzle League" is based on), or, again, a random Super Mario Bros game. Or, more often than not, by myself, which was usually the Sonic the Hedgehog and Super Mario Bros series with a bit of Chuck Rock, Joust, Vectorman, Bubble Bobble, Mega Man/X and/or whatever game I had rented at the time for good measure. You know, to be honest, I'm glad a lot of the games are being brought back and ported. It's been a number of years since I can honestly say I've had "fun" the entire way through a game."

Final Fantasy 13

"As much as I'm excited about Final Fantasy 13, I'm even more excited about Final Fantasy Versus 13. I can't say I'm exactly thrilled that Square is pumping out so, so many Final Fantasy games (Europe won't even see 12 until early 2007 more likely than not, eh?), but as long as at least one of them looks like it might be fun, I suppose I'll continue to support them. I'd like more attention for Star Ocean and Dragon Quest nevertheless, though, as I see those both as generally more fun, though not more flashy.I've heard about the new TGS trailer that are going to be shown later this month, so I'm all set to see those. But, I'm also a bit annoyed with it, because, to my knowledge, Final Fantasy Versus 13's E3 trailer was never placed on the internet, and even Final Fantasy 13's was hard to track down in lesser-known areas for several weeks. I just hope it doesn't happen like that again. That, and I hope they actually show some gameplay footage. I couldn't actually tell if the Final Fantasy 13 trailer was gameplay footage, or movie mixed in with fmv/cg/whatever, 'cause it just seemed to keep switching. ... Guess a demo's too much to ask for this soon."

PSP vs NDS?
3 years 2 months ago
"This is coming from someone who doesn't currently own either handheld system, but I'm personally more towards the PSP right now in terms of which games I want more, though I'm far more in favor of the NDS' price and, from what I can see, lack of NDS needing any type of memory card/stick to do things with. ... Pretty ignorant in that area, to be honest.Anyway, I'm a huge RPG fan, and thanks to the Tales series, Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth, Breath of Fire i (have to import it from Europe, but meh), and the Idea Factory (/Nippon Ichi published) games heading towards the PSP, I'd have to say I'm likely to get one as soon as it hits the $150 mark or so for a new PSP. I'm not into going on the web, or listening to music or doing whatever with handhelds (or consoles), so that's really what's putting me off in the long run -- needing to pay for extra things that I have absolutely no interest in ever using. The real sad thing is, I've already invested about $87 into the PSP by buying Valkyrie Profile and Blade Dancer, and intend to drop about another $65 on imports of Tales of Eternia & Breath of Fire i later this month... >_>
In terms of the NDS, I don't really know too much about the games there. Not enough to get seriously excited, that is. Obviously, I want Final Fantasy i and Children of Mana, I'd love to have Xenosaga I + II brought to North America, and being able to play GBA games would be cool, but aside from something like Mario & Luigi or Mario Kart, I don't think an NDS would get much more use than my various GBs throughout the years. ... Not a huge fan of handhelds, I suppose. Hopefully the Wii will eventually release some sort of handheld player like the Super GameBoy for the SNES and the GBA Player for the GameCube."

Anime games stink
3 years 4 months ago
"Personally, I find most games based off of shows, movies, books, or what have you, to be generally lacking. The main reason, is because they try to stick too closely to the setting and storyline(s) of the thing they're based off of. Which, really, doesn't work, y'know? A movie is designed to be a movie, just as a game is designed to be a game -- you can't just slap it right over there.Anyway, as far as "good" show, movie or book-based games are concerned, I honestly haven't played one that wasn't a (planned) game first. The original .Hack Saga (Infection, Mutation, Outbreak, Quarantine) didn't stick to the storyline but rather expanded on it, though still wasn't a "good" game...Infection, you could live through. But beyond that point, it's just a slow, slow (dungeon) crawl from game to game, with nothing in terms of gameplay really evolving or changing, and the little bit of (generally boring) story being a repetitive dungeon away. The .Hack//G.U Saga -- or at least Volume 1: Rebirth -- looks promising enough, though, so that might be something you could rent or check out or whatever later this year. And, though I guess it doesn't really count, since they were independent projects done around the same time, Zone of the Enders and Zone of the Enders: The Second Runner are decent mech games. (Idolo and Dolores being the anime works related to ZoE.)"

"I've always been a bit partial to Squall and Final Fantasy 8 since it was my first Final Fantasy game. So I guess, it's not too surprising that the Lionheart was my favorite Keyblade in the original game. The Sleeping Lion in Kingdom Hearts II is all right, too. Honestly haven't bothered to compare them to see if they're the same Keyblade/chain or not, though. But, regardless, I was a little annoyed that you couldn't dual wield the two lions because Lionheart wasn't in the game. It's a little late to be complaining about that now though, eh?"

NEED for Speed Underground Most wanted
3 years 4 months ago
"Out of the Need for Speed games I've gotten to play over the years -- which isn't many -- I'd have to say that Most Wanted is my favorite, and Underground 2 is my least favorite. In fact, saying I hate Underground 2 wouldn't be far from the truth.Anyway, compared to Hot Pursuit 2(?) on the Xbox, which was the first Need for Speed I played (not a big racing fan), the original Underground was godly, though I really didn't like there not being any police to keep things interesting, and the AI/catch-up system was pretty broken. Most Wanted, while the Blacklist was a bother and the police AI made it an actual effort to keep a chase going (though was quite fun after, say, wanted level four), gave me what I wanted from Underground more or less: Car modification without it being taken too far, like in Underground 2 (what does a stereo system in the trunk have to do with racing, again?), police cars being involved with the race, and more than one or two songs I could live with while racing, though not many more, honestly. ... That last one isn't so big, I suppose, but I never really cared for the Underground/Underground 2 music.
After seeing Carbon in the newest GameInformer, though, I'm a bit afraid to get my hopes up about that game. It just seems to remind me a lot of the Underground games, which imho is a step backwards after Most Wanted..."

"I don't honestly think I could say for certain which was my "first" game, though my earliest gaming memories do involve playing Joust and Galaga on my mother's Atari 7800 in my grandmother's house -- I couldn't have been more than four-years old at the time. My mother had an NES at the time, too, so Super Mario Brothers isn't entirely out of the question, either. The first game I ever officially owned myself was Super Mario World on the SNES, that much I do remember."View

And the episode, I believe 11, when he met Shino who was selling herself into prositution for her debt...It was just liek the most touching episode ever. Its a side of him, it was just too cute. And then he had sex with her was like 'W.t.f' at first, but if I lived backed the...I probably would've been something like Jin...
