After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

"Some jears ago i used Hypersnap DX (which worked good), unfortunatly i didn't get it working a few month ago on my new system. but often you don't need such tools, because much players/games have screenshot functions. i use zoom player, but with some codecs/video formats screenshot aren't possible (like DV video).I haven't looked for some time for a solution, but the next thing i would do is to look for a option/tool for my graphic card which is last instance before the monitor, so it should be simple to get a screeny from there.

"Right, as if copying is a bad bad forbidden thing. Its like if i paint my wall green nobody else may, because it was my idea and everybody else is just copying.
Most times if a product is blamed to copy, the "original" it copies from isn't the archetype, but has adapted the idea greatly.
I dont care about as long as it makes sense and is not just a plain reprodution but a fitting adaptation.

"Definitely not. the grafics are surely not crappy. especially because most of the nintendo games use simple forms. or can you tell the difference between a simple 2D circle on the different system?
nintendo games never had the best graphics, they don't need. i prefer a paper mario-look over most "we use 3D because it's standard"-looks. on PC there are so much FPS games, all looking good, but most all are so boring similar. it graphic is everything, then you play render-adventures like myst ^^.
it seems you dislike innovations, i think the remote i a great idea, altough i am sceptic.
i'm looking forward to test is at the Games Convention this year (got tickets fo the concert XD !)
yes it is really expensive for a console, but thinking of the hardware its actual quite cheap.
copy of ideas? from which console? what other console had cell chips, blue-ray and features all the new AV-standards ? sure the xbox had a HD, but it was quite preditable that memory must increase on consoles.
i never really cared about the xbox and the 360, ok, fable sounds nice, halo2 perhaps too but it nerve gets interesting for me. and since much games are co-developed for PC i have no need to care.
i don't dislike the 360, but there is not enought developement from xbox to 360 for me, so it will alwas be somwhere in between. becaus PS3 is quite a evolution, and wii is very innovative."

"Just think about some famous game characters:some years ago the didn't speak because the simply couldn't (technically).
then as computers and consoles developed, characters get a voice and it gets normal very fast.
so nearly all of the "new" characters can speak, but much of the "old" characters remain silent.
it often depends on the audience.
personally i like most of the simple nintendo games mario and link. but keep them silent will be hard.
its not really a question of indentification i think. good example is HL² (Half Life 2). its a great game, but its so annoying that Freeman has no character, he's just like Air, no decisions, no discussions. its funny because the first Half Life was like that too, but it worked great because it was a totally new way of story telling.
really do you indentify yourself easier with a Person who is mute ? i prefer characters with personality like in much RPG's (e.g Final Fantasy). A Person like Link or Mario is more a marionette to me.
back to your question: NO, i don't think so. Nintendo characters are a brand. if they would change the product to dramatically it would be danger not to sell (like that Link Cartoon? famous? no. i've seen a episode too. horrible).
BUT, it will get more difficult i think. PC an consoles getting more an more realistic so our "old Heroes" will die sooner or later, or they will be dead for us because the aren't themseves anymore.
look at the "next gen consoles". its all about graphics. but Nintendo goes for its own audience again.
so perhaps the question isn't "will link talk ?", but "will Nintendo adapt ?""

"NO, it is not a NES game, it is original a PC game (AFAIK). Anyone remenbering the good old Lucas Arts Adventures should have heard from it, since all their Adventures used the SCUMM system (means Scripting Utility for Maniac Mansion).nowadays it is downloadable for free in the web (at least in German e.g from Chip.de).
but be warned, it looks like between NES and SNES and isn't that easy to solve all by yourself.
nevertheless a piece of history. if you are in Point-and-Click-Adventures you shoudl play EVERY Lucas Arts Adventure. my favourite ones are: Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis, Full Throttle, The Dig, Day of the Tentacle(which includes Maniac Mansion),Sam and Max.
Most of them can be played using the SCUMM-VM, a kind of Emulator especially for Lucas Arts Adventures.
if you want to know more you can easily google your way, and wikipedia will hold good info too.
