After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

"Before we get to the wall update, just a few issues I want to address.About the Multi-posting: Yes, I also had a problem myself and double posted when I hit the refresh. If this happened to you, and believe me, you and everyone who looks in this thread knows who you are, please go back and delete your extra posts. As Lady Saotome said, I would like this thread cleaned up so that it flows a little better and is easier to read.
EDIT: Hmm...it happened again. I guess there is a problem with the thread or something. After you post, please try and refrain from refreshing. Instead, just return to the homepage by typing in the link in the address bar. I don't know what's up, but hopefully it either stops or I just finish this wall in a hurry. ^^;;
Bullet holes, stripper poster, etc.: Since it's been brought up a lot, I'm not really hot about the stripper idea. Just a bit of a personal thing, really. I mean, me not being a guy, I don't know if I wanna put women like that on my wall, since I don't really like looking. Also, as I think I mentioned before, I would like to at least get all the technical stuff correct *cough*lighting*cough* before I add on these little accents.
Realism of content (bricks, poster, etc.): All I can say is I've done all I could to these elements, especially the poster, which I ripped apart (literally and figuratively). I don't know what else I can do. If you feel that there are still problems, you're going to have to give more specific directions (I love tutorials) so that I can better illustrate them.
Oh, and on a side note. Hamster, in the texture layer, the bricks were made with those indentations, so the mortars aren't incorrectly lined up or anything.
~*~*~*
- Adjusted the lighting and shadow
- Altered the text
- Gave the poster a yellowish twinge (though I don't know if you can see it or not)
- Played around with the brick texture layer
- Altered spotlight's color
~*~*~*
I really like the lighting idea Baka-neko gave, and I tried it with Hamster's spin (as a cone instead of another spotlight). I wasn't sure if this worked, as now there are two "lights" in the wall. I definitely know I'm not doing it right, and I am so very tempted to perhaps just keep the light from the upper left and remove the "flashlight" entirely, but the shadowing might be a bit difficult (though I suppose I could just lessen it and make it look like he's standing right next to the wall).
Also, that got me thinking about the flashlight entirely. Lady Saotome suggested to make it bigger, but then it would conflict with the other light, and I guess I could just remove the cone light entirely in that case. Or, I could do the vice-versa and keep a large flashlight and remove the spotlight. Which do you guys think looks best?
Comments are appreciated, as always. Thanks very much. ^_^"

"- Fiddled with the lighting- "Fuzzed up" the graffiti
- Folded a poster edge in
- Roughed up the wall
- (Temporarily) removed poster remnant
~*~*
Sorry, sorry, sorry! I don't know what happened to me for three days, and what's worse, I don't even have a decent update to show for it. I tried to follow Hamster's lighting thing, so I hope I did that right.
I removed the poster remnant at the bottom because I just can't seem to make it look right. I might come back to that idea when I get at least the layout of the lighting right.
Also, I picked up a rougher brick texture and added it on to the current bricks. They're not really deep cracks, but they're cracks nonetheless.
Now, I keep getting this uncertain feeling when I look at the graffiti writing. I REALLY would like to keep it, but I am open to suggestions for a change in layout, size, color, etc. I've heard font complaints, but you're going to have to be more specific as to what I should chagne it to. I could just move it down and blow it up so that it fills up the bottom, if that would work a little better. I suppose I'll wait for your input. ;D
As always, comments and suggestions are appreciated. Thank very much. ^_^"

"- Fiddled with the brick wall- Added shading to the poster
- Experimented with staining the wall
- Played with the lighting effects
- Tried out a piece of a poster left on wall
~*~*
Whew, there's the revised version. I spent a lot of time trying to figure everything out, mostly how to "real"-ize the poster. I would have added cracks like Hamster (may I call you that? Your full name is kind of long...) said, but I just couldn't do it right. I also fiddled with the lighting, and I tried a few different styles. I don't know if it matches up with the shadow positioning and the light placement, so I know I need a little help in that department.
I also experimented with a poster remnant. I would have made more, but I'm so very tired right now, and I just wanna check if you guys think it'll look good the way I'm doing them.
Well, comments are always appreciated, along with suggestions, complaints, etc. Thanks very much. ^_^"
