Upload problem: Double submission

"OK... I tried to submit a wallpaper, and after I clicked 'Submit' I got a blank page. I didn't hit 'Refresh' ~ I just closed the tab and hoped that my wallpaper got through. [re: no page refreshing or any other attempt to submit my wallpaper a second time]When I checked AP a while later, I had 7 new messages - all stating that my wallpaper was rejected because of a 'double submission' problem.
Now, I'm not sure if this is because of my net connection [although I don't have problems uploading stuff anywhere else] or because of an AP bug, but maybe someone should look into this. And I want my 100 papers back T_T
LE: Not sure if this helps, but I'm using Firefox 3 on a Windows Vista Professional laptop, with a broadband connection."

"As you can see in the image above, this particular Flash add overlaps some options in the navigation menu. I've had this problem a bunch of times, and only with this add [others, even Flash ones, don't do that]. You guys might want to look into it and see what's wrong? "

"Okies... I've got a[nother] problem.About 24 hours ago, I tried to submit a wallpaper in two different versions [1600 x 1200 and the standard widescreen resolution, I think it was 1440 x 900 or something, can't remember -- but I took it straight from the FAQ, so I couldn't have been wrong about that]. What happened is that I got a message saying, "None of the images you submitted have the necessary resolution" or something of the sort. Oookay, so then I waited to see if by some miracle the image was still uploaded and my wallpaper had made it to the approval queue. After nothing showed up, I tried submitting it again; this time, it was uploaded with no problems.
And then, I just got a message saying, "Submission Rejection Notification: Wallpaper submitted three times". Uh... 'scuse me? The first time, I got a message saying that the images weren't approved, and when nothing else showed up I assumed that the submission had been a failure [no idea why]. The second time it worked OK. So why did I get this message in the end? [and triple, on top of that].
I dunno... sometimes either people have problems with their Internet connection or AP has bugs [...or both]. I think this kind of situations can't be helped, and it'd be best if you guys just approved one submission and deleted the extras? Just a suggestion from a frustrated user. "

"O~kay... here's something that's been bothering me for a while. I've seen the tag Oppai on the first page for a while. I'm not sure how many people know what that actually means, but in Japanese, "Oppai" is a word with sexual connotations, which could be roughly translated as "titties" [the largely accepted word is "mune" (breasts)]. Is this allowed under the AP policy? I don't know about any other Japanese-speaking users, but I personally find it disturbing. "View

" First page of randomness! (zOMG CLICK! [/n00b])I've been meaning to start my own lil' [web]comic series for a while now, but I usually lacked two things: time [mostly] and talent [definitely]. I'll face it: I can't draw on paper, not to save my life. I have lots of ideas and no-one to draw'em for me... so today, I just opened Photoshop and said, "What the heck, if I can vector stuff, I can definitely doodle some chibis, how hard can it be?"
The process of creating this comic was really simple: idea -> doodle (Wacom tablets are pure w1n) -> abuse Pen Tool -> add text -> DONE!

"My advice would be to try and vector the main renders of Sasuke and Naruto and give up on the smaller image in the middle [it doesn't really fit in well]. As far as your wallpaper goes right now, the lines on the scans are too jagged, so I doubt the wallpaper would pass...You can find some excellent [and easy-to-follow] vector tutorials on DeviantART *nod*

"Ever since Shippuuden began they've been dragging it WAY too long. In every episode there were at least five minutes of either staring and not-so-dramatic close-ups, or irrelevant chit-chat. LAME >.< And now, the filler arc. I can't believe they're making us go through this after the two years of lame fillers in the last season.I stopped following the anime and I only stick with the manga now. "I agree with you on simple wallpapers *nod* But for this particular piece, I think it would look better if you delete the aura around Haruhi [the white blur-ish lines] and maybe add some very faint brushes in the background [as it is, it's simple in the bad meaning of the word -.-;] OR, you could use the same effect that you used in the stock for the background, too, and that would make the stock blend in better.Good luck!
