This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

But then that would be accepting a mistake, and men don't make mistakes, none that are acceptable.

He punctuated with a full stop. What if you just accepted you misread it?

$damoser 17 minutes ago
Then why would he put a period instead?

$motogp 17 minutes ago
What if he forgot to put a question mark :P

^hatesyou 20 minutes ago
His comment was a statement. Not a question.

$damoser 20 minutes ago
Seemed more like a rhetorical question to me.

"Hello... I'm here... and I'm new.

Well, that was obvious, wasn't it? I'm an 18-year-old girl from the Land of Dracula, Romania (a thing wich I'm pretty proud of, considering I got to see Dracula's castle last summer and it was absolutely THE coolest place I've ever seen :P), I love anime (duh), web design, rock music (almost all genres, from NU-Metal to dark / gothic / black / power / whatever), reading, writing, and lots of other stuff that would take at least two or three pages to write here :)

My favorite anime series so far are Trigun, Bleach, Full Metal Alchemist, Gundam SEED Destiny and probably InuYasha, although I'm starting to get bored of the latter. As for manga, I <3 emoticon Angel Sanctuary, Trigun Maximum and Bleach.

That's about that... see you around the forums! ;) "

Gundam

"So far I've seen only Gundam SEED and Gundam SEED Destiny, so I don't really have any terms of comparision, but I think saying that Gundam SEED Destiny is one of my all-time favorites would suffice.

Will you watch, if your favorite anime become a real film? Why yes or Why No?

"I've seen the Sailor Moon and You're Under Arrest! live action movies, but I didn't like them that much... Anime is anime, movies are movies. Try to cross them over and you'll end up with some horribly-patched hybrid that doesn't offer anything except maybe second-hand special effects. I think this would apply especially to fantasy or SF anime turned into live action... Maybe a shoujo / drama anime would actually look better if the same script was turned into a movie, but since I haven't seen any of those yet I won't say anything more. As for my favorite anime turned into movies... *shudders* I dread to think about it. Honestly, I think a real version of Gundam SEED / Gundam SEED Destiny, for instance, would be dreadful, so I'd absolutely not watch it..."

change the end in anime

2 years 4 months ago

"@ ahikari, there are a few series that actually have good endings... Sadly though, there are lots of good series that scew up pathetically in the end :-/

If I could, I'd change the ending to Gundam SEED Destiny first of all, because it was extremely lame! I mean, there wasn't even an actual ending... Sure, so all the bad guys die off, and Shinn and Lunamaria get to watch that big base-like thingy blow off and hug (awww...), but what happens to everyone afterward? There are plenty of questions that remain unanswered, like who does Athrun stay together with in the end (although the series pretty much hints at that), or what happens with Murrue and Neo, or... sheesh, the ending was so lame.

Another ending I'd change would be Trigun, because again, that's not a real ending at all :( But since there's gonna be a Trigun movie coming out next year, I suppose things are gonna get patched up there. Same goes for Inuyasha, they could've at least hinted at a conclusion for the story, instead of that pathetic 'Our journey goes on...' line.

And finally, the ending of Hellsing left me hanging... They never showed what happened to Integra (although there's a hint, but not too clear if you ask me >_>) and there was nothing at all about Celas Victoria (would she remain hiding in the shadows forever?!).

There are lots of other series with lame endings, but my fingers hurt already, so I'll stop now..."
