" Mm, I want to be an English teacher and teach English preferably in another country because it seems that people from other countries learn it a lot better than people in the U.S. do. I do not really get overly bothered by others' grammar, though, unless they are friends with me or someone whose writing I have to see very often. I hate being one of those people that others think will put them down because of their grammar, so it happens very often that I will become new friends with someone and they will not have necessarily the greatest grammar, but after becoming friends with me, I will see them trying to write much better, and it actually makes me feel kind of awkward since they do not say anything about it, but I see them trying. If it had really bothered me in the first place, and they were truly that stupid, I would not have given them an entire week.However, on a whole, then yes... the literacy of people that should be able to write better than they do, is more than just a little annoying... I hate the replacing letters with numbers, and words, and all that jazz, but it is what it is and people will do it. If they do that, but I actually know they can write in actual sentences, then I do not really mind because people want to do their own thing, but when I see them actually writing like that in other things besides the internet, like school work and other things, then it is just ridiculous.. people could at least realize that talking with numbers and the like does not really make you look intelligent... it actually makes them look extremely young and immature in other peoples eyes..
But.. yes.. it can be annoying, but I can't let it bother me too much. Aforementioned, I want to be an English teacher, so I will do what I can to help when I can, and even in other situations I will point out things to people, but that is ONLY if I know they do not mind and they really want to learn the corrections, which very often, those that befriend me eventually do want to know when they write things wrong, but.. that is them, not me. People just eventually learn that they do not want to look stupid anymore, I suppose. =p
Oh. One thing that does bother me is that a number of those people I previously mentioned, that would try to start typing better after they meet me, later become the kind of people to put down others and to tell them they are stupid and how they should write and I hate that, knowing that they were not very good in the first place and I never put them down or anything like that... it's really annoying watching them act all superior about it later on.. Trying to help to actually help is good.. trying to just put people down because it makes you feel better is not.

" Whee... I love my kitties. I waited like 17 years to get them and now that I have them, they are very adored, spoiled and have a ton of pictures taken of them.We got Tifa-Elphaba last November on Thanksgiving. She is black and white, which is why I named her Tifa, and her attitude is much like Elphaba, except for with me.
The second kitty we got in December of 2006 and her name is Rinoa Inu-Hime we named Rinoa because... it is my other favorite Final Fantasy girl and she was much more peaceful looking than Tifa.. we were wrong, but yes. The Inu-Hime is because she acts more like a dog than a cat.

" Hi! I am a huge RPG addict and have played most of them in existence that I can get my hands on. I have played all Final Fantasy games released in the U.S., all the Disgaea and Nippon Ichi games, Growlanser games, Atelier Games and a bunch more that people do not really know all too well, but out of all those, my favorite is Shadow Hearts I and II.Shadow Hearts I and II star Yuri, a Harmonixer, which is the ability to turn into demons. He is unlike other protagonists from RPGs, as he has a real personality - he gets mad, he laughs, he cries, he's a jerk.. he's not just stoic and silent until the end. He is awesome! He is also gorgeous, but that's a sidenote.
Shadow Hearts takes place in one of my favorite time periods for anime and video games, which is the early 1900s and revolves a lot around the Catholic Church, World War I and the Church's obsessions with demons and artifacts. An anime that reminds me loosely of Shadow Hearts in the way it feels and the time it takes place is Chrno Crusade, except Chrno takes place in the U.S. while Shadow Hearts takes place in Europe.
Yuri is a Harmonixer, meaning he can turn into demons, and he is a huge jerk. He gets on a train one day and happens to come across a girl named Alice Elliot, whose father was recently killed and she is basically being kidnapped by some man he does not know. Yuri, being his awesome self, does not accept this and quickly gets himself involved and rescues Alice and then the story continues from there. It is an awesome game, with amazing characters, one of the most wonderful storylines ever, sexy music, nice graphics and really fun fighting. I love Shadow Hearts and I used the Quick Search and nothing came up, so here it my topic for it.
This is basically just Shadow Hearts I and II since they are directly connected, whereas Shadow Hearts i is not."

I read the guidelines and I know to post pictures of myself in one thread and pictures of my beloved pets in another, but I have a ton more pictures of other things like my daughter, flowers, other animals and landscapes because... I love taking pictures. I wouldn't necessarily call myself any good and when it comes to my daughter, she is just the most beautiful girl in the world so it is easy to take awesome pictures of her, but I do love sharing and posting pictures, and as I said - I also love taking them.. I bring my camera with me everywhere, so whee. Okay.. I will start with one of my daughter for now. Her name is Azalea Aeris and she just turned 5 last month.View

" My Summer has been based around my daughter and relaxing. She just turned 5 last month in July, but she has already been in school for two years and she will be starting Kindergarten in September, so the Summer has been about relaxing and spending most of our time outside with her in the pool and out at other places. It has been a semi-normal Summer thus far, and very nice. Of course the normal plans are involved - went to the family reunion, have to go to Adventure Land, went to the Bronx Zoo for Azalea's (my daughter) birthday, went to the Aquarium in June, have to go to Splish Splash, visiting my parents a bunch and just out a lot. Once September comes, though, it will be her first time going to school for 6 hours a day, so I will have free time for the first time in years, save a few hours here and there, but yes, my Summer is very normal, but that is how I want it!"View
