This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

Do You Like Cats?

2 years 2 months ago

"
Does anyone know if you can get caught by your tenant if you keep a cat?

It depends on the cat itself. I recommend getting an older/mature cat instead of a kitten. Look at posters in Wal-Mart or other general stores like it, they usually have adoption posters up. Or even try a local pound. A mature cat (say, one or two years old) will likely not require as much attention as a kitten. A declawed, short haired cat would probably be your best bet.

My younger cat, when she was still a kitten, just wouldn't use her litter box. Instead decided the living room would be a better place. She outgrew it, of course, but if the previous owners were strict, you'd doubtfully have that kind of problem with a mature cat. In my old (and quite small) apartment, it was 300+ dollars for just one animal and 50 extra dollars a month. We had three cats there also, and no one ever discovered them.

In an apartment, especially a smaller one, the most problems you'd have would be the cat wanting to go in the window (your owner might see it. A neighbour will doubtfully report it to the owner because they won't know if you're not paying for it or not, unless the complex straight out doesn't allow animals), 'playing' (clawing) the blinds/curtains, 'accidents' on the carpet, scratching the carpet/woodwork, and probably other things I'm not remembering. But if I do say so myself, you'd be much more well off with a cat than a dog in an apartment. Especially if you're not around a lot. My old neighbours use to lock their dog up in their washer/dryer room all day and go to school, the poor thing. I could hear it crying all day. And, this goes without saying, make sure your room-mates are okay with your having a cat, as one of them might be allergic. But if they're only slightly allergic (like myself), they'll get use to a shorthaired cat in no time as opposed to a longhaired one. Also make sure you have enough time to be around it and take care of it. Even though cats are generally known to be independent, they'll always need your attention.

But I digress, a 1-2 year old shorthair cat is the best way to go, in my opinion. Good luck with getting one. ^^"

Do You Like Cats?

"I <3 emoticon cats. I really don't like dogs much. I was attacked by one when I was a child, so that's probably why.

I have three cats right now. One has been with me since I was young, the other I got about a year ago, and another is the "baby" even though she's about a year old now. I love them all dearly, even though they can be annoying. But hey, that's part of their charm. X3

Yukming, maybe you should keep your cats indoors so you know they won't get run over/taken by someone else/etc.? I would never be able to live with my cats outdoors all the time. There are a lot of cat haters where I live, and I had a neighbour poison one when I was a kid. T_T I really hate people like that."

Prozac

"Nothing wrong with depressing style walls, I'd say.

The general idea is nice; a depressed looking gothic girl sitting on a bench. The colours are all nice and blend well together. I think the worst part is the extraction, there are a lot of little white bits left over. I don't really like the top text, it's in a very different style than the brush text scattered on the wall, thus looking out of place to me. So, basically, work on the extraction of the main girl and maybe make a version without the top text. It's a good idea and a nice wall overall, I hope you make more wallpapers. :)

You don't have to take my advice, I don't really make wallpapers, just giving my two cents. ^^;;"

How do you handle stress?

"I usually have something to drink, then watch some TV. Soda always calms me down, I really don't know why. Specifically diet pepsi.

Petting my cats also helps. Their purrr~ sound is very relaxing."

BoA

"BoA is amazing! I kind of like her vocals more than Ms. Hamasaki sometimes. I first heard her singing "Every Heart" for InuYasha a long time ago and couldn't get over how pretty her voice was. I think I like her song Feel the Same mostly. That or Dakishimeru, which is really addicting. It's a shame she doesn't get much/any publicity in Western countries like the states.

I haven't heard much of her Korean songs, unfortunately. Except for My Name, which is awesome. Probably the only R&B style song that doesn't give me a headache.

Oh, and lyrics:

Ikutsu namida o nagashi tara
EVERY HEART sunao ni nareru darou
Dare ni omoi o tsutaetara
EVERY HEART kokoro mitasareru no darou

Nagai nagai yoru ni obieteita
Tooi hoshini inotteta

Meguru meguru toki no naka de
Bokutachi wa ai o sagashi teiru
Tsuyoku tsuyoku naritai kara
Kyou mo takaisora miageteiru

Donna egao ni deaetara
EVERY HEART yume ni fumidasereruyo
Hitowa kanashimi no mukou ni
EVERY HEART shiawase ukabete nemuru

Itsuka itsuka subete no tamashii ga
Yasuraka ni nareru youni

Meguru meguru toki no naka de
bokutachi wa ikite nanika wo shiru

What Anime Left you wanting more

2 years 2 months ago

"Fate/stay night, definitely. I loved the series, but found the ending unimaginative (sorry, my English is horrible. I don't know if I spelled that word right...) I'm really hoping for a Fate/hollow ataraxia OVA series, so at least we can see Karen animated and so maybe they'll cover the issues they forgot in the anime. Or at least give Archer a bit more screen time. *sigh*

The plot of Fate/hollow ataraxia is based half a year after the events of Fate/stay night, roughly on the conclusion of the Heaven's Feel scenario. Like its preceding counterpart, the story is set in Fuyuki City.
