After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

"Good job so far! Here are somethings that I've noticed:I really like the way you did the bg, even if it is a standard filter. But it does contrast with the snapshots in the front, both of them don't really have a joint feel. One thing that really struck me when I was watching Fruits baskets is Momoji's story and how sad it was. T_T So to me, the background is trying to show that, at the same time contrasting with the shots in the front? I'm not sure. XD
What I would suggest is to pick an effect and stick with it, maybe apply the same texture to the shots as you did to the background, so it matches together more or less. Also if you heighten some colors in the shots, you can create a memory feel for the shots.

It looks like they're attached to her arms! lol I agree that the focus should be more on the character, maybe you can give her a glow to make her stand out, or lighten the bg so the colors of the bg match up with her colors more.As for the font, you can still keep the script font, but you could make it smaller and spread the text along two lines or maybe even one. Somebody already mentioned the beveled effect, so I won't pick on that. =) Regular flat font with a shadow (or no shadow) looks like it can do the job.
The extraction is done quite nicely! It's coming along great, would be happy to help if you get another version too. "

"I finally found the thread after my long vacation, so I'm gonna say my two cents about this.I thought the remake was useless. X_x I know filling plot holes is important, but personally I was looking forward to seeing what happens after the war. (and what happens to Athrun and Cagalli!! GRRRRRRR! >_<) I really hate it when creators decide to drag on the series for the sake of making more money, and that seems to be the case here with Fukada. I'm seriously hoping that they manage to find some ingeneous way to handle that many characters and PRAY they don't introduce more. (not likely, eh? T_T) It's better than the original ending.... I guess. Seemed to me like some treat tossed to the fans before the next series comes out so they'll stop bitching about how bad GSD was. =P I would have much rather they attempt something else to salvage the series like work on character development.
Fukada is starting a new Anime cliche... recaps instead of plot advances! I couldn't agree more about Shinn growing up, but alas emotional puberty escapes him. X_x
LOL, that's funny. xD That redeems my hope for GSE. This is starting to feel like one of those cliffhanger season finales they have for the series they show in North America. What's next?? Invading ALIENS? xD"

"Wah, I went on vacation so I couldn't reply to the topic. T_TTo Pheonix: I couldn't agree more that they rushed everything toward the end of the series. I found that it was out of character for Chairman Dullindal to rush his plan, and absolutely just obliterate everybody who doesn't agree with him in the process. Compared to the beginning of the series, it just didn't seem like him. =( To completely match his character, Destiny plan should have been introduced and then a period of time where he would have manipulated everybody to trust that it was the best way to go. There just wasn't enough on that to be satifying. T_T
To AstralDragon: I'm so glad somebody else shares my view of the Chairman! XD But yeah, with the fast plot development at the end, it was really hard to accept the fact that he was a bad guy. =/ I still think he's more misunderstood than really "bad" per say. A theme in all Gundam series is that it's hard to truly determine who's on the true "right" road to peace, they just all fight over how to obtain it.
Lol, awww, I think he looks pretty good. XD He's gotta be one of the better looking "politician figures" in Gundam Seed, the rest just look really plain/old or ugly. lol"

"Totally agreed. He's also a hypocrite, he'll get angry that Stellar got killed, but not think of the thousands of people that lost their own families just because Stellar went on a killing rampage. Shinn was a horrible character, I couldn't even see the justification of why he even needed to be there at all in the series. Nothing personal for Shinn fans, he's just bleh for me. =/ "

"If you really want to know about X, you gotta read the manga. The movie or the series don't particularly give it justice. And I'll not go on about how CLAMP hasn't ENDED IT YET because it'll turn into a 3 page rant. Spoilers ahead. ^^;Pheonix said most of the stuff about the Tokyo Babylon side story that carried into the X story. The main X story is that Kamui is the "destined one", he has the choice of becoming one of the 7 seals or the 7 dragons. He determines the fate of the world. The seals protect the Earth, the dragons destroy. His friend Fuuma is his Gemini star: basically that just means whichever Kamui picks, he'll automatically become the leader of the opposing side.
So the story goes that Fuuma his best friend and Fuuma's sister Katori are all involved. Fuuma's mother died from giving birth to the 1st sword, the sword that is given to the chosen one to fight the battle. That one gets stolen. Katori gives birth to the 2nd sword, and in the process dies. (insert gory sword birth giving scene, that creeped me out for so long when I was a kid) Kamui liked/loved Katori, and after she dies, he finds out more about his destiny and gradually chooses to become a good guy. Fuuma then becomes the dragons leader and antagonizes Kamui. Kamui won't fight Fuuma because he's his best friend, and this goes on for a really long long time.
So that's the main consensus story for both the manga, movie and the series. The rest of the series gets iffy, and because CLAMP hasn't finished the manga yet, the TV series had to come up with it's own ending. One prodominant theme is people gradually get killed off, lol. That's the only thing that's even remotely simular with all of them. There's good character development for all the side characters, except there's too many. CLAMP can't decide what to do, so they just delay the story by telling us all about the side characters instead of the main story. The last scene in the manga before it stopped was the beginning of the final fight with Kamui and Fuuma.

"I think this must be the nth grass and star wall I've see this week. lolI don't think it looks horrible, it's just out of place. I think one of the most important aspects to walling is to understand the mood or potential of the picture that you're using. Can you see this character in this scene? How does this background bring out part of their character? etc... Right now, I'm seeing a completely different mood for the picture that you've used. It's a great picture by the way. ^^; Try to think of different ways that you can use to bring out the picture.
I hope that's not too harsh for a first wall. But it looks good for a first try. Personally, I would challenge you to use different types of effects. Grass is getting so overused now. >_>

All in all I think the wall looks great too. You could always just add some textures to certain places, along the counter or along the wall, it might make the room look more cozy. Maybe even some faint flower designs using the same color as Sakura's skirt. It looks great so far, keep up the good work!"

How to change the option in Photoshop
Instead of having it say "None", you can change it to either Sharp, Crisp, Strong, or Smooth. Playing around with those options will Anti-Alias your text so the edges are not jagged. If you used it on your other wallpapers, your signature, and your avatar, it would help them look smoother. ^^;"

"Wow, I got responces! XD Lol, I guess he did really present himself as an antagonist at the beginning; when he harassed Athrun about his identity.Glare? ^^; awww, lol. I was still holding out that he'd end up as a good person. T_T Azreal gives me the creeps, so does Djibril(sp).
@ Basara: I think his intentions were to genetically give people their "roles" in life to excersise their talents to the fullest. Then they wouldn't have to try to find it on their own (resulting in ambition, jealousy, etc.). I'm not too sure if people would have no emotions as a result - my interpretation was always ambition, jealousy and feelings that caused war would be eliminated.
@diannahu: I agree! I wish there was more character development that way. I wanted to know more about how PLANT regulates marriage and why that would increase the chance of conception. I'm not sure if the authors were trying to suggest that the reason he really came up with this plan was a combination between his rejection from Talia and his interactions with Klueze. Maybe if they were still together Talia could have prevented it. T_T"

"Wow, that significantly improved from the last one! Great job! ^^ The sky looks great.The font for this one should be anti-aliased. I still think if you moved Kira more over into the center, it would fill the center blank; he is the main focus of the wallpaper after all. The nebula looks really nice, but it feels out of place. You could try a Distort transform with the nebula to change the orientation. Or move it towards the center? Kira still looks too light for the dark background, try putting a layer of blue on top of him (the same blue you used for the sky) and then play with the opacity so the lighting looks more like the sky.

I know it'll be a pity if it ends, but they've pretty much exploited all the plot considerations possible. He just keeps adding new characters to throw in plot twists, it basically looks like there's no end.
There are a few cases where Conan has to figure out who the murderer is without having him on the scene. In those cases, he gets appropriate background information from the cops because he magically runs into them while they're chasing after the perpatrator. lol"

It's true, I'm seeing planets and stars in a lot of the walls here lately. lolWhat happened to the stars? o_o;; I know you redid the grass, but now that 1) it has less visable light green and 2) there are no more stars, it makes Kira stands out strangely. Also the position you had him in the original was fine, Torii's tail is cut off now - you created more empty space to fill. ._.
If you really wanted to see if they match, try moving your new grass into your original version, to see if it matches. Just make sure that the grass doesn't cover up your text again.
Edit: Lol, okay, you're redoing it. http://ningen.nattoli.net/tutorials/realistic_grass_01.html This is the only grass tutorial I know of. If the grass is really a bother, I suggest you just try thinking of a different effect. ^^;"
