Lol you're like the fifth one to tell me that .. i really enjoy making cute colorful walls ^^ .

Yeah the bright part is bugging me too , its connected in a funny way so i will take down the color so it wont be too weird and it will help to connect it together .. and i added some shadow lines in the back and fixed the straight edge in the back too .

i will submit the wall now , thanks for the help ^_^ .

Nah i'm totaly down with it if you like it :P , but maybe i should add more shadow work on the hair because the bright part looks like its too flat without the lines .

what did you want me to get from the image you added ? , it's fully lined in black and im not sure i like chibi's like that xD .. but could you give me what you thougt of the vector now ? , is it better before or after removing the lines ?

It's 9PM now and i would love to post this wall tonight before going to sleep lol ."

well it's big that's for sure ^^" , you really need to have an idea when you're making a wall because what i see in your wall is just random brushes around the character's .

and the second thing is the scan ... you didn't work on blinding it with the background because the color level and clearness is way deferent .

and the last thing i want to mention is about the texture\effect you used for the background , just change it +_+" .

"I like the idea behind the "Zabuza" wallpaper , it would be cool if it's clean and clear .. So try to vector the wall or look for a better scan to work with .. and try to make it with colors , im not saying it should be full of colors but you need some levels of paint to make it look better .

As for the other wall .. i really can't see any good point's to fix it up .. sorry +.+" .

You are young and i can see that you can be good in the future if you work hard in it ^_^ , Keep up the good work :) .

LoL , i thought so ^_^ .

I can see you're point about the line's in the hair and around the vector .. it's so not me xD .

but when i did that vector i didn't think the fully lineless would work here but i think i was wrong :) ..

this is the wall after removing most of the lines around the body part's and the hair line's ..

Same here :) , i think with this color i get more focus on the character's .

Do you mean on the vectors or just around it ?, because if you mean around it then i have made this test wall with a thick stroke looking line :-


And if you mean i should make thick lines chibi vector's then i would make something that's not my style of vectoring, because if you see most of my resent vector's you will notice that im a lineless kind of a guy ^^ .. and i only add line's when i feel the need for it .

*Hehe* , mostly i like my vector's to be lineless as you can see if you focus on C.C vector , but sometimes you have to add lines so separate things or they will look funny :P .

and more tips ? , and what version you think i should go with for the main thumbnail ?"

"Hello everyone and welcome to my new vectored chibi wallpaper =) ..

This is going to be my second wall for the Code Geass anime, so i hope everyone would like it ^^ .

The wall is 100% made in Photoshop, It took about 10 hours to vector both C.C and lulu (Lelouch) , and about 3 hours more to make the right background .

We would love to see the vectored wall that you talked about later on :D .. but for now we can talk about what we have here ..

The wall really need's a lot of work from cleaning the background to fixing how the character blend with the wall ... and what's with the random use of text and images in the side's ? +.+" .. i don't think you even know what's you have added in the upper side and you just added them because you thought it look's cool .. well it's not ~_~ .

And don't use filters on the background and try to have a clear look on it because the colors now are too dry .

do you mean a wallpaper text title on the wall .. or a title for the post in AP ? .. because i think i will make a title but i'm not sure if i want to add it on the wall .. i will think about it and try some stuff when i get the title ^_^ .

yeah it took to much time to make!.. almost 50% of the time was on the hair ~_~ .. its all because i'm bad in covering up on lost parts ..

i did try to fix some of the stuff in the hair .. you can see it in version 2 in the first post .

when i moved the flare i made around the innocence i missed to cover it up and didn't notice it .. thanks for pointing that out .

i made a pattern for the ground and that made the problem .. i hope it's fixed in the v2 .

I started by vectoring "konata"(Blue Hair) and "akira"(Pink Hair) and then making a background that's funky and funny at the same time :) ..

"The idea is nice and i like the background .. its deep and the colors are nice ^^ ..

Now for the negative parts .. the scan look too much like a scan -.- , i mean its lacking the smoothness that would help to blend it with the background .. i would suggest working on the scan to clear it up and try to blend it with the back .

The second thing is rain .. I'm not sure about it but i think it need more work to make it look more real and to make it looks professional .. the last thing is the font for the small text on the title .. i think it might look better with another type :) .

"And now we got "Popular Scans Today" up in the page :) .. and when i close it the "Top Rated Today" close's xD .. i think its a bug or maybe its just me :) .. and i think this tab is not that necessary and it would be better just having it in the menu ..

Now the page looks unorganized and hard to deal with .. and i keep getting errors on my IE and all the pages shutdown .. so i think you should just keep the -\+ tab function and remove the ability to move them .. and just get the thumbnails closer to each other and organize the front page .

This site is getting better and better everyday .. so keep up the good work :) ."

what i can see in this wall is that you know how to use the program but you just need to have a better way in blending everything and have some experianse on making the walls ^^ ..

"I would reject that too .. i think you should fix the problem you have in the background .. just remove the green sides and re-make the curtins or changed it to a window or somthing .. and you might need to Re-CG the character too ..

I cant really see the sign so you need to color it with a brighter color or add a bright stroke around it so they can read it :) ."

Extraction problems

"To make normal traces without shape layers you need to change the option from the upper left corner .. under the menu .. its the second button ... sorry i dont have photoshop now so i can get the right name of the tool ^^" ..

Or you could just trace the image from the inside .. and then just put the image over the trace shape layer and click Ctrl+G on the image and it will go throw the shape leaving only the image :) .. easy and fast .

there are other ways to do this but i think what i told you is an easy way to try for now ^_^ ."

its might be better if you repainted the background .. even if it didnt look normal in some parts but you will learn new things that way and improve your skills :) .. and with time im sure you would never use an image like this again ^^ ."
