Nice job with the scan there ^^ .. i think the sky looks fine even thou im not into the yellow look in this wall o-o .. the vectored back is good but kinda too plain , how about adding a tree ? .. and try to do somthing about the corner of the wall and make it looks more like a corner by playing with the lights and the shadows ..

one more thing about the vectored background , give the depth or every angel more work and shadow work so they can look deeper and more realsteck ..

the font is the biggest problem like you have said ^-^ .. the yellow colo of the back is really killing any chance for me to think of a better way :/ .. just want to say that you have to make it more natural , dont add the vector look in the back of the text because it has nothing to do with the main style ^^ ..

i hope somthing would help you and sorry for my mad english lol ..

so i think its an artwork of some sort .. but im not sure who did it or for what anime xD .. hmm .. it might even be a game xD .."

"Thanks for the replays :) .. i did work with the petals and tryed to have a more deeper look with more colors .. my mistake was that i worked on making the patels with the pentool in about 6 layers only .. every part is in a layer .. then coloring them was not normal xD .. i had to mask them and brush some of the part with another color .. but in the end i think its better than befor :) ..

i made 2 versions .. one of them with a flower taking from another shana scan lol .. im not sure its a good idea thou .. its taking the foucs from the main idea ... and i made a normal version too so you can see whats happning ..

Thanks ^^ .. i got the idea after looking at one of Mark Monciardini's images about a week ago xD .

(But the current bg killing it for me. The character needs some brighter colorful bg though)
amm .. i went with a deep look to foucs the wall on shana and whats happing with her ... the idea of making trees and such came to me .. but it didnt work well with the idea and the scan .. thats why i went for this wall ^^" .

(And that demo strip is bit useless, still it´s still my opinion)
lol i know its useless even in SZ .. its just a way to show things here and make it look cool LoL ..

"Shes turning into petals not blood xD .. maybe i should work on the colors of every petal more so they can look sepret in some of the parts xD .. every petal is made by me and it took most of the time xD .. i will try to do somthing with them so they can look more like petals :D .

i took a look at the wall and i think its more than just the sign :/ .. the scan is blury and the font looks weird!..

the background is a normal trick that you can find online -_- .. but on the other hand .. you have done a nice job on extracting the scan ^^ ..

so overall i agree with the points that "mint99" have wrote ^_^ .. try to make a more creative background .. and a better font and text effect ^_^ ."

This is my new chibi wall ^^" .. i know it hasnt been long from my last wall xD .. but i just couldnt turn down a chibi C.C LoL .. we all know what's with this anime and pizza hut lol .. so i thought this would be the main thing .. the background killed me here @.@ .. is it just me or the green hair is hard to work around lol .. i went for a colorfull and cute\childesh look .. and i went throw 4 BG's before i went for this one :\ .. and im tired of changing lol ..

Your welcome to say any suggestions you might think of .. or just anyways that will help me make this wall better ^^ .. and while your at it .. please pick a color for it LoL .. the maker's eye is not like the viewer ^^ .. and please if you have other mixes you think will look better .. please say them ^^ .. im just too sleepy right now so i might have missed up the colors in the back and most mixed here was picked in random xD ..

the things i would fix i were you are ..

- The colors of the background .. try to make it deeper by making more levels from the same color with adding some wihte flow in it ..

- The title .. the font is hard to read and not going well with the wall :/ .. try another font and i would rather a semple font with some space between the letters .. i dont know how do explane the idea , but this kinda of a font dos very well with this walls consepte ..

- The stars .. just try a more glowy looking star :) ..

- The Kingdom Harts title .. i dont have a lot of problems with the font .. but the elements aroud it is just wrong .. too semple and not very creative .

The first thing i thinked about when i saw this wall ... the images quality is really bad @.@ , you really cant just take a picture from the net and add some semple text on it and call it a wall :) .. amm .. first thing you have to do is clean the wall so it can look normal in a 1600x1200 wall .. then you might turn the size down to 1024X786 if you want :/ .. it had too look good and not just normal ..

the other thing is the text!.. its just too semple and random .. you have to plan the and make a wall that you will actully like and might set it as you screen BG .. is this really good for that ? ^^ .

as we can all see from your comments .. then green version is the most wanted even thou i was going with the last one at first lol .. but the green+blue was my second choise ^_^ ..

just that i strongly encourage you to start trying out/using shape layers to outline your vectors instead of stroke

I actuly was thinking about this too the other day :\ .. thats why i went and bought Illustrator CS2 .. but im not feeling the program :\ .. i use Photoshop CS now and the Illustrator CS2 just feels funny to me .. i will go and get the Illustrator CS and maybe be i can blend better with the program .. i did read about it in the net .. but most of the stuff is conflecting with my Photoshop's work and making be make mistakes and be slower then im right now with photoshop :\ ..

pattern walls were never my thing, so no comment there

LoL xD .. i had a blank back at first and then made a pattern like O o O o
o O o O and it worked nicelly .. and when i added 2 layers with opasity+soft light .. then i got that look ... alot of colors .. it made it become besy with alot of colors like i wanted it ^^" .. i hope it will be fine ^__^ .

make "death note" into candy cane colros..o_O

why not use the gray stuff around the border to cover up the exposed pattern underneath L's knee

yup .. its was made by me .. and i used shapes on them .. so it should look better with a better saving option ... i used +60 High option for the demo's :) ..

Are the shadows on his hair from the original?

yes it was in the origenal .. but i will have that fixed .. not much but i will move the points down to look better .. thanks for the Suggestion :) ..

i have colored the background with some blue rather than having the gray boring sky .. and i fixed his tail and removed the other layers of colors .. xD .

the tail was taking for Ep.134 if im not mistaking .. and i put it to make him look more angry :P .. if you think i should remove it .. please tell me ^^" .. or if you have anyway that whould make it better :) .



what do you guys think about everything on the background ? .. everything (100%) was made with the PenTool so feel free to comment on anything ^^ ..

PS . the left hand was going to be covered with chakra and thats why i didnt finish it :P .. but i will fix it and but the nails and fix the shape of the hand tomorow ^^ ."

i finaly finished this wall -.- .. i think O-O .. i started this wall more than a week ago but the holidays got me besy , and now i finally had time to work on it more!.

i started with the vector of naruto witch is taking from the new movie (4 screenshots to get the full naruto vector).. it was really small and i couldnt see most of the lines .. then i made the BG to fit the vector :D ..

overall this is a 100% made in Photoshop CS ..

ohh ya .. the vector is 3500 px long so if there is anything you Suggest i change .. fell free to say it ^_^ ."

the scan looks ok :P .. Joe is always great *hehe* .. but mixing it with that background need more tweaking .. and the black and white idea is making the wall look empty , it feels like Joe is taking all the space in it .. and try to make the background looks more than a stoke photo ..

It took me time to read the title and its just the animes title :D .. try to fix that too :) .. i would go with a lighter color with a see throw effect with a lighter stroke .. and try the lower corner but in a normal way .. that mean no need for the box around it :P ..
