As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Do have a look at this beautiful wallpaper!

"If that's one of those Haruki types, I'm in for that. Read most of his work and I can say that the man is a genius. Even if some things don't make sense, I don't get the feeling that they are strange or that they don't belong in the flow of the story. Johnny Walker eating cats on a stick!
Him aside, I don't really feel as attracted to other books. It is rare that this happens, even though I generally read a book per month (generally...). If it does, it is usually the story (Ian Irvine's "The Well of Echoes" quartet) or ideas depicted (random philosophies)."
