After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! I have a few movies... Jisatsu Circle, Moon Child, Wonderful Life, GTO," Shikoku.
Through the University's and the public library I've seen a bunch of Akira Kurosawa's films... Ran, Akahige, The Hidden Fortress, Rashomon... As well as the films about Miyamoto Musashi.
Oh! Through my friends I saw the movie Waterboys (not the TV series).
I think I enjoyed that one more than the others. It was really funny! It's always labelled as "gay interest" on ebay. XD Mostly because it's about a group of high school boys who become a synchronized swimming team...but it's still a very good and very funny movie!
Oh, and most of my links are to IMDB - Internet Movie Database. Some user post their own reviews about the movies...I'm not sure if that's the kind of reviews you were looking for, but you can try it. ^^"

"I'm in my...*counts on fingers*...fifth year of college! So I'm a Senior. Sort of. The reason I've been in college for so long is that after my second or third year in college, I decided to change majors. ^^ I went from being a Biology major to being a Japanese Studies major.I still have a long way to go. I only have the higher-level classes left, and some of them are only NIGHT classes. Meaning, I'd have to be in school from 7:00 p.m. to about 8:15 or later! SO not where I wanna be at those times, but I guess I'll have to grit my teeth and hang in there... Even though it's evil to have to be in school that late."

"Hmm. I like DC, but only because of Batman. XD I'm not an avid reader of comic books because I didn't like that they were so short.I don't know why I like Batman...I guess cuz he's the only superhero(?) without any real super powers... He's just really rich and well-trained. XD
I really liked the novel version of No Man's Land...and the comics with Cassandra Cain in it...although I haven't been able to find any more with her in them at the library or the stores here.
... Yeah. I basically randomly start reading a comic from wherever it looks interesting. If it's interesting enough, I'll do some research and find out as much as I can."

"As much as I'd like to be a saint and say "looks don't matter"...if a guy has thick ass-hair growing out of his chin, I am NOT going to be kissing anywhere near that.But ... I guess if he treated me really well and was a really great person, I'd overlook it this one time. ^^;
When I was younger, looks mattered more to me than they do now. I've learned that a lot of the good looking guys are jerks or conceited or conceited jerks. I hate those guys most of all.
I'm happy with my boyfriend, though. He's cute and he suits my personality really well! (It's the personality thing that drew me in first though...then I started discovering how cute he is. I swear! XD)"

"I'd go to visit Japan, but I don't know if I'd want to live there. There are certain aspects about Japanese school-life that I'd rather not expose any of my children to.But, anyway!
I'd love to go with my friends. My friend is a fan of Meitantei Conan, so she wants to go the places they've shown in some of her favorite episodes, and take pictures. XD That, and visit Luffy's ship (if it's still there...)
Then we'd hit as many stores that sell manga and doujin as we could. Maybe do a little karaoke for a few hours... Oh! And I'd wanna check out that place that's just filled with Gachapon. XD Maybe buy some for my tiny collection...nyahahahaha...
I'd definitely want to go and check out as much of the animation studios as I could too...
I want to go to Okinawa and see just how much like Hawaii it is. XD I'd also like to visit some historical battle sites and see what's left...
I'd love to visit, but I don't think I'd want to live there...forever, anyway."

"I'm a dork...whenever Metallica's "Fuel" comes on my stereo while I'm driving, I start going faster. XDIt's that song and "Whiskey in the Jar" (also by Metallica). Oh! And "Dragula" by Rob Zombie.

"Ah! I think I saw that one also...was it this one?
I liked it much better than the Disney interpretation. XD The Disney version was too happy. The Japanese version was much more dramatic and shoujo.
We owned a dubbed tape of an episode Speed Racer which I thought was kool... Hee hee...I didn't pay too much attention to the way they sounded in english, but now when I see parodies of it, I realize how odd it was and wonder what it sounded like in Japanese.
After that, my sister started watching Sailor Moon on our UPN affiliate. She got REALLY into it and started drawing and everything... I was upset at having to watch Sailor Moon all the time, so I looked on the internet for something with a little more drama in it and found Fushigi Yuugi. My main problem with Sailor Moon was that she never covered her face with a mask or anything, or disguised her voice very much and people NEVER FIGURED OUT WHO SHE WAS.
Fushigi Yuugi was a little better, although it almost lost me halfway through when Yui went psycho...I didn't mind the whole Tamahome-Miaka-screaming thing too much. If I was going through all the things they went through, I'd probably be screaming my boyfriend's name too...although maybe not in a high-pitched voice.
I KNOW THAT MOVIE! We used to have it on VHS through my mom's Avon catalog, I think. I loved it so much!
Although according to ANN, it's actually made up of 26 episodes and called " Serendipity Monogatari: Pyua-tou no Nakama-tachi." (Pyua = pure) I'm not sure if the movie I remember is a movie or just a bunch of clips put together. I'm really curious now...
I wish they'd put some of this stuff out on DVD so I could watch it again and sigh, "Natsukashii!""

"I'm actually happy it's licensed.This means that I'll be able to get the DVDs for much cheaper than I would if I bought the Japanese region DVDs (I forget what Region number Japan is). If the first DVDs they release are only dubbed and cut, then I'll just wait. XD Eventually they'll release uncut DVDs and stuff. If they don't then I'll just save up to buy the Japanese DVDs...although I'll be paranoid about them getting lost in the mail or something... I really love Bleach, so I'm happy that it got licensed because now it'll be easier for me to support it. :3
Not only that, but I'm also interested to see how the dubbing goes. XD I want to hear how the english voice actors interpret their Bleach characters. There are times where some VAs get it (I think the Cowboy Bebop dubs were pretty decent!) and other times when they try just a little too hard to match their characters appearance rather than the characters personality (like Sanji from One Piece...but WHY they thought he'd have an accent or talk like he has a stuffy nose is beyond me, but eh...). I'm anxious to see how they interpret characters like Jidanbou, Yoruichi in kitty form, Kuukaku, Ichigo, etc. I might be a little offended at first, but in the end, I'll probably just find it hilarious.
PLUS...if it's anything like when Naruto came out in english, there should be more Bleach goods available in more accessible stores. Which means I won't have to hunt on eBay to find a legit Bleach keychain or plushie or use proxy services to battle other fans on Yahoo! Japan auctions for a taichou haori. XD"

"Hmm. Well...a white club has connotations of white-racism. XD Still, it IS kind of silly to be able to have Asian-american clubs, Mexican-american clubs, etc. and not a "white" club...
I suppose if you called it an "American Club" and not a "White Club" that'd be okay. It sounds more patriotic and less skin-head.
Anyway, a lot of the ethnically-based clubs that I know about try to teach people more about the particular culture that's associated with that ethnicity. Since "white" also has German, Irish, etc. ethnicities filed under it, it'd be difficult to justify it as a club trying to promote a particular culture...
Oh well. Whatever. Some people are waaaaaaaaay to worried about being Politically Correct and whether or not they'll offend someone...
And sometimes they're right to be worried...there will always be someone offended by SOMETHING...and there will always be those who aren't afraid to spend thousands of dollars to sue to get it changed or stopped."

"I love the filler! At first, the animation around New Years was a bit on the weird side. >.> (Did anyone see what happened to Ichigo's eyes when they were at that park? Oh. My. God.) But now it's starting to look a LITTLE better...like it did around the Ishida vs. Mayuri fight.At first I was worried that the whole filler thing would be a series of "games." But now that the real bad guys have appeared, it's much more interesting.

Sasuke vs. Naruto

"I'm not a huge fan of either of them (although I do like Naruto cuz he's such a dork sometimes) but I like their relationship.I like how Naruto and Sasuke are kind of...different sides of the same coin. They both pretty much grew up without their parents and with some kind of tragedy attached to them, but one is more accepted within Konoha society than the other. They both have goals that they want to achieve that require great strength, but one was willing to resort to evil to get the power he craved.
What made me happiest is when you could see their friendship building. Even though Sasuke's a little emotionally closed off, once in a while an emotion would slip out!
