"Yip. the stock looks jagged and you need to work at tutorials on extracting images ;). I think you may have used another image for the background and stretched it out too much, it looks very low res. text looks okay, but you need to look at blending it a bit. Overall not a bad first attempt at making a wallpaper :). Keep it up :P"

"Well the obvious would be to state that the hollow mask needs to be vectored since it looks very choppy. Ok... why don't you maybe try to have a contrasting effect on the wallpaper by making the background black or even a gradient. "

"Erm... the stock image looks a bit choppy and low resolution. The second wallpaper is better than the first but still needs a lot of work. The yellow-ish musical notes are all too similar and you need some variation there. Background, well you seem to like the pink and purple colours and there's nothing wrong with that, but perhaps you could try downloading some abstract brushes and create a different background with more "flow" and depth. Text, well everyone would associate a classical font with music ;). Not a bad font that you chose, but I would like to see something in italics :P. But I think you should change the main focus of the wallpaper - the scan (or stock like some like to call it). Keep up your work, and you should improve."

"You actually needs lots of work to do on this coloring project. It's a daunting task to start something like this when you a noob. Um... I'm Photoshop based as well so I don't know about any GiMP tutorials that may help you :(. I would suggest that you try start something a little bit simpler to make your first wallpaper :). I'm not saying you shouldn't finish this one, but you need to ease your way into graphics I think... good luck though"

"Did some vector dragon in illustrator and decided to make a wallpaper from it. I like the outcome, and used gradients in photoshop and gradient maps to add colour. lines and dragon made in illustrator :P.

"Yeah... the quality of the wallpaper is not good, and those silhouettes, were basically duplicated and now you have an overlap on the cliff. The moon is low quality and lacks some whiteness and glow, same with the two wolves. The text needs work as well. The fonts okay, but i would make the colour white. Nice concept though, but it needs a lot of work. Good luck :)"

"Yeah... it does look good, but do you really have to put a huge amount of work into something just to make it look good? What about working smart and not hard? But then again... you can't really extract that unless your very good at working with channels and stuff... Anyway, I see why it may have been rejected, maybe not because it does not look good, but because it was easy to create. And it was accepted, that'll mean that all simple-and-plain-looking wallpaper submissions have to be accepted. Anyway I like it though :)"

"Well... creating this type of wallpapers is not as easy as it seems though, you're doing okay but it still needs some depth and light, you've added some shadows, but it needs some more work. The problem with making such wallpaper I think... is that you have to give attention to very fine detail and perspective in order to make it really cool, it's not just placing pics and stuff on the floor or a desk. But like I said, you're doing okay, keep at it :)."

"Nice vector, it looks nice and clean. Erm... the background looks kinda low-ish quality and lacks depth. Those roses stand out too much and does not blend. You should work more on the background, try some brushing, and either make those roses smaller, or try to belnd it better. The wallpaper looks okay, but requires some more work to get a finished product. Keep it up!"

"Okay... here's the second pass... Erm... I'm still not too good with the grass though. Anyway, this is what I came up with. Made a few subtle changes, like the wings, looks better now... I think. Also added a little more light around the stock, and touched up the sky a bit too. This could be the final version, depending on the "verdict" :).

"Erm... I'm not too keen on the outlining you did on Naruto. It's obvious you used the pencil tool to make the outline over the resized screen cap of the opening. Sasuke looks okay because he's in the background. I would suggest you try vectoring Naruto's outlines with the pen tool. It will look so much better. Also you need to touch up the text a bit. Interesting message though, but you could maybe choose a different font."

"Anyway... here's my second attempt at making a wallpaper. Can't remember where I got the scan, so I don't know which anime series the chick is from, hence no text yet :) (if anyone knows, pleasde inform me XD). I was influenced by some fairy tutorials and just had to add some wings to her. I tried to get this mystical effect like "a fairy is born in an open field, under the full moon" type of thing.
